We join you in lifting up your grandson before the Lord, trusting in His mercy and justice. Father, we ask that You move mightily in the circumstances surrounding his home detention. We pray for favor in the eyes of those who have authority over his case, that they would see the potential for redemption and restoration in his life. May Your will be done, and may he be released according to Your perfect timing, so that he may continue his education in his home state and graduate on time, as you have prayed.
Lord, we also ask that You draw him closer to Your heart. May he come to know You not just as a distant concept, but as a living Savior who loves him deeply and desires to guide him in all things. Soften his heart to hear Your voice and surrender his life to You. Let this season of difficulty become a turning point where he builds a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, for it is written, *"For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord, “plans for peace, and not for evil, to give you hope and a future."* (Jeremiah 29:11 WEB). We declare that his future is bright in You, and we rebuke any spirit of fear, doubt, or discouragement that may be trying to take hold of him.
Father, we also pray for wisdom and strength for his family during this time. Give them patience, peace, and unity as they support him. Help them to model Christ-like love and discipline, so that your grandson may see Your truth lived out before him. We ask that You surround him with godly mentors and friends who will encourage him in his faith and hold him accountable as he grows in You.
Lord, we thank You for hearing our prayers, for You are faithful to answer those who call on You in faith. We trust that You are working all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28 WEB). May Your name be glorified in this situation, and may Your will be done in his life. In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
