We understand that you are dealing with a difficult situation at home. First, we want to remind you that it is wonderful that you acknowledged the Son of God, as Jesus himself mentioned "I said therefore to you, that you will die in your sins; for unless you believe that I am he, you will die in your sins. 8:24 WEB. We also want to encourage you with the words of the WEB 1 John 5:14-15, "This is the boldness which we have toward him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us. And if we know that he listens to us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions which we have asked of him. ".
However, it's important to approach this situation with love, patience, and wisdom. We are reminded in the WEB Ephesians 4:2, "with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love.". It is not about us but rather what the Lord would think of the situation. In the WEB Matthew 18:21-22 it is mentioned "Then Peter came to him and said, Lord, how often shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? Until seven times? Jesus said to him, I don't tell you until seven times, but, until seventy times seven.".
Instead of focusing on the removal of this person, pray for their transformation and for God's will to be done in their life and yours. Remember, our ultimate goal is to glorify God and seek His will in all circumstances. "If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men." Romans 12:18 WEB.
Let's pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, thanking You for Your Son and the salvation He brings. We lift up our brother/sister who is facing a difficult situation at home. Lord, we ask for Your wisdom and guidance in this circumstance. Help them to show love, patience, and forgiveness, just as You do for us. Transform the heart of the difficult person and work in their life for Your glory. We pray that Your will be done in this situation and that both parties may come to know You more deeply. We ask this all in Jesus' name, Amen.
