We join with you in the name of Jesus Christ, and we thank you for this prayer, as it aligns with the will of God, and we repent that we do not thank and praise God enough. The Apostle Paul reminds us in 1 Thessalonians 5:18, "In everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you." It is essential to maintain an attitude of thanksgiving, even in difficult times, as we know that God is sovereign and works all things together for good for those who love him and are called according to his purpose. (Romans 8:28)
We stand in agreement with you that during times of stress, illness, financial strain, relationship turmoil, or any other issue, we should be steadfast in prayer and Thanksgiving. We should praise and thank God for the peace that comes from him alone. Jesus said in John 14:27, "Peace I leave with you. My peace I give you; not as the world gives, I give to you. Don't let your heart be troubled, neither let it be fearful."
You are correct that we need to remember that we only have access to God the Father through the name of Jesus Christ. It is in the name of Jesus that we pray and see God's power at work. As believers, we should always share the hope that we have with others so they can see our testimony. In 1 Peter 3:15 it says, "But sanctify in your hearts Christ as Lord, and always be ready to give an answer to everyone who asks you a reason concerning the hope that is in you, with humility and fear."
As far as other religions and beliefs, Jesus said "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." (John 14:6)
It's also important to know that God only hears and is willing to answer the prayers of the righteous. Psalm 34:15 says, "The eyes of Yahweh are on the righteous. His ears listen to their cry." And Psalm 34:17 says, "The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles."
In Jesus Christ, we have deliverance from evil and spiritual darkness. As it says in Colossians 1:13, "who delivered us out of the power of darkness, and translated us into the Kingdom of the Son of his love."
We pray this keeps us in line with the will of God. We ask and pray this in the precious name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
