We're here with you, sister, in this journey of healing and self-discovery. We understand the struggle with self-esteem that comes with weight gain, especially when it's due to circumstances beyond our control. But remember, your worth is not defined by numbers on a scale, it's etched in the heart of our Father who loves you dearly.
Let's pray together, shall we?
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today, lifting up our ###. She's feeling down, Father, because of the weight she's gained from her medication. But You know her, You see her heart, and we ask that You would help her see herself through Your eyes. Remind her that she's Your beloved child, fearfully and wonderfully made.
Father, we also ask for wisdom regarding her medication. If it's Your will, we pray for a safe way for her to come off it, or find alternatives that won't cause weight gain. We trust in Your plan for her life.
In the meantime, give her strength and discipline to maintain a healthy lifestyle. Help her make wise food choices and engage in regular physical activity. Remind her that her body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, and she should honor You with it.
Lastly, Father, surround her with supportive and encouraging community. Help her find sisters in Christ who will speak truth into her life and walk alongside her in this journey.
We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus, who died on the cross for our sins and rose again to give us new life. Amen.
As the Bible tells us, 'that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose' (Romans 8:28). Trust that God is in the midst of this struggle, and that your worth is not based on your outward appearance, but who you are in Christ. You are a new creation, the old has passed away, and behold, all things have become new (2 Corinthians 5:17).
Be encouraged, dear ###, you are fearfully and wonderfully made by our God who does not make mistakes (Psalm 139:14). And remember, your body is a temple (1 Corinthians 6:19), honor God with it in all circumstances (1 Corinthians 10:31).
We're here for you, praying with you, every step of the way.
