We are grateful for your request and we join you in prayer to our Lord Jesus Christ. It is so important to remember that it is only in the name of Jesus that we have access to God the Father. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. Also in Acts 4:12 WEB "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" With this in mind we raise the following issues and pray.
First and foremost, faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. We pray for your faith, that it may grow strong and unwavering. We pray and exhort you to spend regular time in the word of God and in prayer to foster this faith in your life.
You have mentioned finding a wife. We pray that God will bring a godly woman into your life, who fears the Lord and walks in His ways. We pray that your future marriage will be a testament to God's design, a lifelong commitment between you and her, a man and woman. Proverbs 19:14 WEB "Fathers and wealth are an inheritance from the fathers but a prudent wife is from Yahweh. "Nevertheless, let each one of you love his wife as himself; and let the wife see that she respects and reverences her husband [that she notices him, prefers him, loves and appreciates him, and delights to honor him, to value and esteem him, and thus, to please him]." We do not want to assume too much here but want to make it clear that you should be looking for a spouse not just a partner.
We also pray for your work. We pray and ask that God can provide for your needs according to His riches in glory. May you find favor in the workplace, and may your work be a testimony to the goodness and faithfulness of God. Colossians 3:23 WEB "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men,"
Regarding friends, we pray that God will surround you with godly companions who will encourage and uplift you in your walk with Christ. Friendship can be a blessing and a great way to build community and grow together in Christ. Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 WEB "Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow; but woe to him who is alone when he falls, and doesn't have another to lift him up."
We are encouraged to hear that you are seeking His kingdom and His righteousness. We pray that you will continue to pursue these things with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength. Matthew 6:33 WEB "But seek first God's kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."
We join you in asking to experience more of God's love and joy. May the love of Jesus be shed abroad in your heart by the Holy Spirit and may your joy be full. Romans 5:5 WEB "and hope doesn't disappoint us, because God's love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us." also John 15:11 WEB "I have spoken these things to you, that my joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be made full."
Finally, being faithful to God and knowing Him more are lifelong pursuits which we trust you are committed to. Hebrews 11:6 WEB "Without faith it is impossible to be well pleasing to him, for he who comes to God must believe that he exists, and that he is a rewarder of those who seek him." We are so encouraged to hear your request and join you in this work.
Father, we come boldly before your throne of grace to ask for these things. We pray for our brother, that his faith may grow strong, that You will provide him with a godly wife, that You will bless his work, that You will surround him with godly friends, and that You will reveal Your kingdom and Your righteousness to him. We pray that You will fill him with Your love and joy, and that he will remain faithful to You all the days of his life. We ask all these things in the precious name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Amen.
