I need prayers for my family. Please, Jesus Christ, heal my brother's mental illness. His autism is very challenging and worsening since my ###’s passing and his yelling at my mother won’t stop he is very unpleasant and hard to listen to his conversations on video chat. His behaviour really improved since my ### called the police but I’m still concerned about them.

We are truly sorry to hear about the challenges your family is facing, and we appreciate your desire to seek help through prayer in Jesus Christ. His name is the only name by which we can be saved. As we are told in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" (WEB).

Firstly, we want to address the mental illness your brother is facing. We know that God has a heart for those who are suffering, and He wants to heal and restore your brother. In Psalm 34:18, it is written, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit" (WEB). We encourage you to continue praying fervently for your brother, trusting in God's power to heal him. Prayer is powerful and James 5:16 reminds us to pray for one another that we may be healed.

However, we must also consider how we can be a support system for both your brother and your mother. It is clear that his behavior has been challenging, but we must remember that God calls us to love one another with patience and kindness, even in difficult situations. As it is written in Ephesians 4:32, "Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you" (WEB).

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, lifting up this family in their time of need. Lord, we ask for Your healing touch upon their brother. Comfort him and their mother during this challenging time, and guide them with Your wisdom. Help them to be patient and kind, even when faced with difficult behaviors.

Father, we also pray for their mother, that You would grant her strength, endurance, and peace as she cares for their brother. Surround her with Your love and remind her that You are always with her.

In Jesus Christ's name, we pray for healing, comfort, and guidance for this family.

Amen.
