I ask for prayers to please help me quit my love for online gambling for ever, it has become unmanageable. Also please pray for my health to improve. Thank you and many blessings to all .

We hear your honest cry for freedom and we join with you in seeking God's help together in Jesus name. You have acknowledged that your love for online gambling has become unmanageable and you desire to quit forever, and that takes humility and courage. The Lord sees your heart and He is faithful to help you overcome.

We want to gently rebuke the hold that gambling has had on you, not to condemn you but to call you back to Gods design for stewardship and contentment. The love of money and the desire for quick gain can pierce us with many sorrows and bring us under a power that God never intended for us to live under. Scripture warns us For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some have been led astray from the faith in their greed, and have pierced themselves through with many sorrows 1 Timothy 6:10. And we are reminded All things are lawful for me, but not all things are profitable. All things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of anything 1 Corinthians 6:12. God calls us to be free from the love of money, content with such things as we have, for he has said, I will in no way leave you, neither will I in any way forsake you Hebrews 13:5. We also know that No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it 1 Corinthians 10:13.

This struggle is both spiritual and practical, so we encourage you to take decisive steps in the strength God provides. Remove access to gambling sites and apps, put blocking software in place, give financial accountability to a trusted Christian believer or pastor, and bring this into the light with a local church community so you are not fighting alone. Replace the time and urge with prayer, Gods Word, and wholesome work, remembering that the fruit of the Spirit includes self control Galatians 5:22-23.

We also lift up your health before the Lord, for He cares for your body as well as your soul. We pray that He will restore you as you walk in obedience and trust. Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers 3 John 1:2. And we remember His promise But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh Jeremiah 30:17. We also hold to In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7.

We noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to lovingly share that it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and find true deliverance and salvation. Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. If you have not yet placed your trust in Him, we encourage you to confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, and you will be saved Romans 10:9. It is by calling on His name that we are forgiven, made new, and given power to overcome sin.

We pray together for you now. Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this dear one to You. Lord, we ask for Your mercy and forgiveness for the time and resources given to gambling, and we ask You to break every chain of addiction and the love of money. Fill this heart with contentment and godly stewardship and teach us to seek first Your kingdom. Provide the way of escape when temptation comes and grant strength and self control through Your Holy Spirit. We pray for complete freedom from online gambling forever, that this desire would be replaced with a love for You and for what honors You. We also pray for healing and restored health in body and mind, for peace that guards the heart, and for renewed hope each day. Lead this one to a faithful community of believers for accountability and encouragement and help us to walk in daily dependence on Jesus. We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We encourage you to stay in Gods Word daily, to pray continually, and to seek pastoral counsel and accountability without delay. God is with you and He is able to make you stand. We are praying for your lasting freedom and improved health and we trust God to do a deep and gracious work in you.

We're thankful you reached out so honestly. Naming that online gambling has become unmanageable takes real courage, and we hear how much you want to be free of it for good. We also hear your concern for your health, and we want to lift both with you.

Wanting to quit and finding yourself pulled back is a painful and exhausting place to be. It can help to add practical supports around your desire to stop, so you are not facing the pull alone.

A few steps that many have found steadying are to put clear barriers between you and access, like using the self-exclusion options on the sites and apps, installing blocking software, removing saved payment methods, and inviting a trusted person to have visibility into your finances for a season. It also helps to bring another person into the day to day, whether a pastor, a counselor experienced with gambling, or a support group such as Gamblers Anonymous or Celebrate Recovery, where accountability and encouragement are built in. Because these patterns often touch finances, emotions, relationships and health together, a whole-person approach with professional support can make a real difference.

For your health concerns, we encourage you to see your primary care provider alongside prayer, so you can get careful, personal care.

Father, we bring our brother before You and ask for Your mercy and strength. Grant clarity and resolve for each next choice, surround him with trustworthy support, and guide his health with healing and wisdom for his doctors. Lead him step by step into freedom and wholeness, and remind him he is not alone. In Jesus' name, amen.

Walk in Spirit and won't fulfill desires of flesh, Gal 5:16.

One is cursed and one is blessed
One I love and one I hate
The one I feed will dominate." ~ Author Unknown

"For if you live according to the flesh you will die, but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live," Rom 8:13...

We have to sow with a view toward righteousness, as it is written in Hosea 10:12... How many years did we sow to the sinful nature? We have to serve the Kingdom and sow that way until it overtakes the other seeds... Think of it as an English lawn... Have to continually weed it and fertilize, sow good seed... In time you have a beautiful lawn... God bless in Jesus' Name.

"Sow for yourselves, with a view to righteousness; Harvest in accordance with kindness. Break up your uncultivated ground, For it is time to seek the LORD Until He comes and rains righteousness on you," Hos 10:12.

Thank you for the suggestions. i have done the self exclusion before but then was able to cancel it this year. i am a ### year old senior citizen female and the only caregiver for my ### year old mother who has been close to death ### times this yea and the stress is what has led my online gambling to go way out of control as all my friends are already passed on and i am caring for mom 24/7 i believe in the power of prayer so thank you kindly for your help and i will try again the self exclusion. for my health issues is harder because the surgeries i need require convalescent time, other than myself there is no one to care for mom so everything has been put on hold as we live together and she can't stay alone. God is good and i know we will all get through any challenges together. Love and Blessings to you.

Your honest confession has been received with thankfulness, for it is a mark of grace when a soul is willing to say, Look not upon me, for I am black, and to cry with the Psalmist, Search me and know my heart. You have done well to bring into the light that which had become unmanageable, for Heedless and Toobold are always bad pilots, and the watchful Christian sets Caution and Self examination at the helm.

We rejoice that you desire to be quit of this love for online gambling forever. Such deliverance must be wrought by the hand and outstretched arm of Jehovah alone. No man can deliver himself, and he who feels his bondage most keenly will be the first to confess that if he ever rises from it, he can never dare to take an atom of the honor to himself, it must be of Free Grace only. Be encouraged that God has not only invented a way of deliverance, but He has found a ransom. His own Son has borne the penalty of our iniquities, and in Christ there is abundant power to save from the pit and to break the chains of every cruel captivity. When the Lamb was slain, deliverance was made effectual, and He who brought forth Israel of old still brings forth His people today, not by their strength, but because He brings them forth.

We also hear your prayer for health, and we would point you to the healing leaves of the tree of life. The least thing about Christ is healing. His fruit is sweet and nourishing, but even His leaves are full of healing virtue. Pardon and healing are placed in happy conjunction in our Lord Jesus, who is the Sun of Righteousness risen with healing in His wings. All individuals in every nation need healing, and there is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation to change the life blood and make the nature other than it was before.

Let us pray together for you.

Our gracious Father, we come before Thy throne in the name of Jesus Christ alone, through whom alone salvation is found. We thank Thee for this soul who has humbled himself before Thee. Lord, grant true self knowledge and self abasement, and strip away every rag of self reliance. We ask Thee to work a complete deliverance from the love and practice of gambling. Break its power, remove its allure, guard the heart and mind, and set this Thy servant free indeed. Make him to hate what once he loved, and to find his joy and treasure in Christ alone. Give him strength to keep his own vineyard, to watch over his actions and motives, to flee temptation, and to walk in newness of life, dead to the world and alive in Christ.

We pray also for his health. Thou art the Lord who chastens and the Lord who heals. Lay Thy healing hand upon his body according to Thy perfect will. If it be for Thy glory, restore him to strength, and in any case, let pardon and healing come together in his soul, that he may know himself forgiven and renewed in the image of Christ. Let him live and declare the works of the Lord, telling of the deliverance Thou hast wrought.

We ask Thee to surround him with wise and godly counsel, with honest accountability, and with means to guard his steps, that he may not return to the snare. Keep him near to Thee, trembling and yet trusting, knowing that a naked spirit was never drowned in the sea of Divine Love. Hear this prayer for Thy mercy and grace, for Jesus sake. Amen.

We will continue to bear you up before the Lord. Seek Him daily in His Word, be constant in prayer, place practical guards about your life by removing access to these haunts of temptation, and walk in fellowship with faithful believers who can help you watch. The Lord who has begun this good work of self searching and self humbling is able to keep you and to make you to stand.

Gambling when it's gotten past your control is a hard thing to admit. There's a short spoken prayer called the Addiction Clearing Prayer on the One Prayer at a Time YouTube channel, prayed over loosening addiction's hold, and you only have to listen. I hope the grip of it starts letting go.
