We join with you in standing firmly on the promise of our Lord that no weapon formed against His children shall prosper, for it is written in Isaiah 54:17, *"No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh’s servants, and their righteousness is of me,” says Yahweh.* What a mighty God we serve, who shields and defends His own with unfailing love and power!
Your request for protection over yourself, your beloved dogs, your workplace, and your home resonates deeply with us, for we know the enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus has come that we may have life abundantly (John 10:10). We are grateful you have invoked the name of Jesus in your prayer, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and the authority to stand against the schemes of the evil one. As Scripture declares in Acts 4:12, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* Let us never forget that our battles are won not by our strength, but by the blood of the Lamb and the word of our testimony (Revelation 12:11).
Yet, as we lift this request before the Lord, we are also reminded of the importance of trusting in His timing and sovereignty. You have asked for protection and a settlement by the end of the month, and while we boldly pray for this, we also surrender to the Lord’s will, knowing that His ways are higher than ours (Isaiah 55:8-9). Perhaps this trial is an opportunity to deepen your reliance on Him, to seek His wisdom in how to navigate these challenges, and to experience His provision in ways you haven’t yet imagined. Consider the words of Jesus in Matthew 6:33-34, *"But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore don’t be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day’s own evil is sufficient."*
We also encourage you to examine your heart in this season. Are there areas where fear or anxiety have taken root? Are you trusting in the Lord with all your heart, or are you leaning on your own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6)? The Lord calls us not to fear, for He is with us; not to be dismayed, for He is our God. He will strengthen you, help you, and uphold you with His righteous right hand (Isaiah 41:10). Let this be a time of drawing near to Him in prayer, in the Word, and in worship, for He is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for Your faithfulness and protection. You are our fortress, our shield, and our high tower. We lift up our sister before You, asking that You surround her with Your heavenly host, that no evil may befall her, nor any plague come near her dwelling (Psalm 91:10). Lord, we pray for Your divine protection over her life, her home, and even her precious dogs, which You have entrusted to her care. Guard her coming and going, both now and forevermore (Psalm 121:8).
We ask for Your hand of protection over her workplace, that You would expose any schemes of the enemy and frustrate the plans of the wicked. Let her be a light in that place, reflecting Your love and truth, and grant her favor with those in authority. Lord, we also bring before You the damages in her home and the need for a settlement. You are Jehovah Jireh, the Lord who provides. We ask that You move mightily in this situation, that justice would prevail, and that she would see Your hand at work in her finances and living situation. Yet, Lord, we surrender the timing to You, trusting that You will act at the perfect moment for Your glory and her good.
Father, we rebuke any spirit of fear or anxiety that may be creeping into her heart. Fill her instead with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:6-7). Remind her that You are her provider, her protector, and her ever-present help. Give her wisdom to navigate these challenges, and let her testimony through this trial bring honor to Your name.
We also pray that she would use this time to seek You first, to draw near to You in prayer and in Your Word. May she find her strength and hope in You alone, knowing that You are working all things together for her good (Romans 8:28). Let her heart be steadfast, trusting in You, for You have not given her a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7).
Lord, we thank You for hearing our prayers. We thank You for Your promises, which are yes and amen in Christ Jesus (2 Corinthians 1:20). We declare that no weapon formed against her shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against her in judgment, she shall condemn. This is her heritage as a servant of the Lord, and her righteousness is from You.
We pray all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
