Prayers please

I have reviewed the text you provided. It does not contain any personal names, specific locations, or identifying numbers that require redaction. The content is a general prayer and message of encouragement.

Here is the original text, unchanged:

Thank you for trusting us with these four unspoken requests. Though they are unspoken to us, they are fully known to your heavenly Father. Jesus taught that your Father knows what you need before you ask, so prayer is not about informing Him. It is about bringing your heart to Him and inviting Him to work, trusting that He hears and cares.

Jesus gave a pattern for prayer, not words to repeat without thought, but a structure to guide us. It begins with relationship. When you have come to God through faith in Jesus Christ, you can truly call Him Father, and that relationship opens the way to real and effective prayer. If that relationship has not yet been settled, the first and most important prayer is simply, God be merciful to me, a sinner, trusting Jesus alone for salvation. That step restores fellowship with God and opens the door to all prayer.

The heart of prayer is not to get our own will done, but to see His will done. Prayer begins with God and His purposes, He stirs those purposes in our hearts, we speak them back to Him, and He then accomplishes His will on earth as it is in heaven. So the wisest prayer we can pray for each of these four needs is, Lord, let Your perfect will be done in each situation. Your kingdom come, Your will be done. That prayer keeps us from asking for things that might harm us and keeps us in the place where God can do what He has long desired to do, without forcing our will.

Be encouraged that it is not the length of a prayer that makes it powerful. The prayers recorded in Scripture are often very short. What matters is a sincere, earnest heart. Scripture says the earnest, heartfelt prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective, and it gives the example of Elijah, a man like us, whose prayer God answered in a remarkable way. Nehemiah also shows us that prayer should be our first response, not our last resort. He prayed first in every crisis, and then he took wise and careful steps. Prayer does not replace practical wisdom, it goes before it. So we pray and we also act with prudence, trusting God to guide each next step.

We are glad to join with you in agreement for these needs, believing the promise that when hearts agree together before God, He hears. We bring your four requests before Him now.

Father, we come to You in the name of Jesus and thank You that You know each of these four needs fully. We ask that Your will be done in each one, for Your glory and for good. Where there is need for comfort, bring Your comfort. Where there is need for guidance, bring Your wisdom. Where there is need for healing or provision or reconciliation, act according to Your perfect love and power. Help our friend to rest in Your care, to know You as Father, and to walk in worship and trust before You. We give You the kingdom and the power and the glory, and we trust You to answer in the way that is best. Amen.
