Your request has been heard and we are joining you in prayer before the Lord. Ten years of waiting and pushing against delays is a heavy burden, and we understand how wearying it is for both you and your husband, especially when anxiety and the strain of constant communication weigh on you.
Scripture encourages us to pray at all seasons with perseverance and to keep watching in prayer. We are reminded of the widow who kept coming to the judge until she was heard, of the friend who knocked at midnight until his friend rose to help him, and of the Canaanite woman who kept pleading until the Lord answered and healed her daughter. In each case it was not that they were worthy in themselves, but that their persistence showed their trust, and God honored that trust. Your continued prayer through these long years is not unseen by Him.
We pray with you now in the name of Jesus.
Father, we bring this husband and wife before You. You see the ten years of waiting, the paperwork, the disappointments, and the weariness that has come with it. We ask that You would grant favor in this VA decision and that what is just and needed would be granted without further delay. We ask for peace for this husband, for calm in the struggle with OCD and for grace in his communication with those helping him. Give wisdom and patience to the attorney, and give this wife strength and rest where she feels she cannot carry this anymore. Above all, guard their hearts from anxiety and draw them closer to You, that they may know Your provision and Your presence whether the answer comes quickly or takes more time. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who hears those who call on Him with perseverance. Amen.
Continue to bring this before the Lord without ceasing, and trust that He hears and will answer according to His wisdom and mercy. We will keep praying with you for a just outcome, for peace in your home, and for the Lord to sustain you both in the days ahead.
