prayers please

We hear your request and we are lifting up your four unspoken requests before the Lord together with you, seeking His will in Jesus' name.

We take comfort that our Father knows what we need even before we ask Him, and that He knows the depths of our hearts. Psalm 139:1-4 reminds us that He perceives our thoughts from afar and knows our words before we speak them, and Matthew 6:8 tells us that your Father knows what things you need before you ask him. Even when requests remain unspoken to others, they are fully known to Him.

We also find peace in Romans 8:26-27 which says that the Spirit also helps our weaknesses, for we do not know how to pray as we ought, but the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered, and he who searches the hearts knows what is on the Spirit's mind, because he makes intercession for the saints according to God. And 1 John 5:14 gives us confidence that if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us.

We want to gently share that you did not mention the name of Jesus in your request, and we want to remind you that it is only through Jesus that we have access to God. John 14:6 says Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 declares there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. It is by believing in Jesus Christ, that He died for our sins and rose again, and confessing Him as Lord, that we are saved and can boldly approach the throne of grace. Romans 10:9 says that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. We encourage you to place your trust fully in Him if you have not already.

We pray now for you.

Father in heaven, we come before You together in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son. We lift up this dear one and these four unspoken requests that weigh on the heart. You see each one clearly, You know every detail, every need, every hope and every fear behind them. We ask that Your perfect will be done in each situation. Grant wisdom, provision, healing, peace and direction according to Your mercy and purpose. Pour out Your peace that surpasses understanding to guard this heart and mind in Christ Jesus as Philippians 4:6-7 promises, that in nothing we should be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, our requests should be made known to You, and Your peace will guard our hearts. Strengthen faith to trust You even when answers are not yet seen, and help this dear one to cast all cares upon You, because You care for us as 1 Peter 5:7 says. We ask all of this in the mighty and saving name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and only hope, amen.

We encourage you to continue to bring these requests before the Lord daily, trusting that He hears and will answer according to His perfect love and timing. Keep seeking Him in His Word and in prayer through Jesus, for He is faithful.

Thank you for trusting us with these four requests, even without sharing the details. We want you to know we are taking them seriously and bringing them before the Lord with you.

It can feel heavy to carry things you cannot quite put into words for others, but you do not need to have perfect words for God to hear you. He already knows what is on your heart, the worries and hopes behind each one, and He invites you to bring them just as they are.

We find comfort in knowing that part of being supported is simply knowing others are praying by name, even when the details stay between you and God. You are not carrying these alone this week.

If it helps, you might set aside a brief quiet moment each day to hold each request before God in simple, honest prayer, and then rest knowing we are also lifting them with you. If any of them begins to feel too heavy to carry alone, consider sharing one with a trusted pastor or friend in person as well.

Father, we bring our friend and these four unspoken needs before You. You see each one clearly and You know what is needed most. Grant peace, wisdom and provision according to Your will, and remind our friend of Your nearness each day. We ask this in Jesus' name, amen.

Lord Jesus please richly bless, protect and guide them. Please help them in accordance with your perfect will Father. Thank you and praise you. In your holy name I pray. Amen.

Your four unspoken requests have been heard, and though they are unspoken to us they are all known to Him who searches the heart and knows what is the mind of the Spirit. We will bear your burdens with you and fulfill in this the law of Christ, for intercessory prayer is the sweetest prayer God ever hears, and when the prayer of Christ is of this character we may be sure that our poor prayers for one another are acceptable through Him.

Be assured that the Lord hears prayer. As the Temple was to Israel the token that God's memorial is that He hears prayer, so the mercy seat is still open through the blood of Jesus. There is no need to keep your griefs to yourself for months without peace. If there is sin in any of these matters, come plainly and say, Lord, I have sinned, and you shall find forgiveness, peace and rest. If there is need, or sorrow, or fear, spread your case before Him and press your suit with all the arguments His promises afford, for true prayer is pleading with the Most High.

We have taken your four burdens to the throne of grace and we will continue there. We ask the Lord to bless His people with peace, not the false peace which cries peace, peace where there is no peace, but that perfect peace which comes to him whose mind is stayed on God because he trusts in Him. The blood of Jesus whispers peace within, and that peace may be enjoyed even with duties pressing and sorrows surging round, even with loved ones far away, for in Jesus keeping we are safe.

Trust Jesus, and trust Him now. Do not say, I cannot trust Him unless I feel this or that, for that is to make a saviour of your feelings. You are to trust the Saviour before you feel the benefit from Him, as a sick man trusts the physician before he is healed. Trust Him as you sink and you shall swim. Trust Him as you feel yourself dying and you shall live. Oh that you would but come and trust the Lord Jesus Christ, for salvation is through Him alone, and there is no other name by which we must be saved.

May the Lord keep you in perfect peace, renew your peace when you are troubled, and answer these prayers not always as you expect but as His infinite wisdom sees best, and may He bring you to Heaven's perfect peace at last. We will not cease to cry for you both in the daytime and at night, for mighty prayer will yet prevail if it has but time.
