Beloved of All
Thank you for entrusting these four unspoken requests to prayer. God knows each one fully though they remain unspoken here. He knew your needs long before you felt them and He knows what you will need in the months and years ahead. Prayer is not informing Him of something He does not know, it is opening the door for Him to work in your life according to His good purposes without violating the will He has given you.
God delights to bless His people, not because we are so good but because He is so good. Scripture shows that He hears and answers the prayers of those who call on Him, like Jabez who called on the God of Israel and saw God grant what he asked. There is no category of hard or easy with Him. He is able to do exceedingly abundantly beyond what we ask or think, whether a need feels small or overwhelming to us. What matters is not the posture of the body as we pray, but the posture of the heart coming humbly and honestly before Him through Jesus, who alone gives us access to the Father.
The wisest way to bring these four matters to Him is to seek His will above your own. True prayer begins with God and His purposes and returns to Him as we agree with what He wants to do. It is not a sales pitch to convince Him, and it is not a way to get our own wishes granted on a rebellious earth. It is cooperation with Him, saying nevertheless not my will but Yours be done, and trusting that His will is best because He loves you and is faithful. If there is any sin that you are holding onto, bring it to Him in confession, for if we regard sin in our hearts it hinders our fellowship in prayer, but when we come for mercy through Christ He hears and forgives. Prayer is also worship, simply beholding His greatness with awe and thanksgiving.
So I am praying for you now that in each of these four unspoken situations God would work out His perfect will, that He would give you assurance and comfort by His Spirit as you wait on Him, and that He would guard your heart from discouragement if answers seem delayed. We do not like to wait, and sometimes the problem persists for a time, but the response of faith is to end prayer with praise, thanking Him in advance because you trust that He has heard and will act for your good and His glory. May you go in the strength of the Lord, resting in His righteousness and goodness, and may His kingdom and His will be done in every part of your life.
