Prayers Please

We hear your cry for help and stand with you in this moment of fear. The Bible tells us in Psalm 34:4, "I sought the Lord, and he answered me, and delivered me from all my fears." You are not alone, God is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). We lift you up before the throne of grace, asking the Lord to calm your heart, strengthen your faith, and surround you with His peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:6-7).
Father in Heaven, we come before You on behalf of our brother/sister who is feeling overwhelmed by fear. Lord, You are our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We ask that You would quiet their anxious thoughts and replace them with the assurance of Your love and protection. Remind them that You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Wrap Your arms around them, Lord, and let them feel Your presence in a tangible way. Guide them to trust in You with all their heart and lean not on their own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6). Fill them with Your peace, and let them rest in the knowledge that You are in control.
We also encourage you to meditate on God’s promises. When fear rises up, declare the truth of Scripture over your life. Speak aloud Psalm 23:4, "Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me." Let these words sink deep into your spirit. Fear is a tool of the enemy to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). Stand firm in your faith, knowing that greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).
If this fear is rooted in something specific, whether it be health, relationships, finances, or something else, we urge you to bring it before the Lord in prayer. Cast all your anxieties on Him because He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). Seek godly counsel from fellow believers who can stand with you in prayer and support. Do not isolate yourself; the enemy thrives in darkness and isolation, but where two or three are gathered in Jesus’ name, He is there in the midst of them (Matthew 18:20).
We also want to gently remind you of the importance of placing your trust in Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. Jesus said in John 14:6, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." If you have not yet surrendered your life to Him, we encourage you to do so today. Confess your sins, repent, and invite Jesus to be the Lord of your life. Romans 10:9 tells us, "If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." Salvation is a free gift, and it is the first step to walking in the victory and peace that God intends for you.
Lastly, we rebuke the spirit of fear in the name of Jesus. We command it to leave and not return, for God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind. We declare that you are covered by the blood of Jesus and that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Stand firm in your faith, and do not let fear dictate your steps. The Lord is your light and your salvation, whom shall you fear? The Lord is the strength of your life, of whom shall you be afraid? (Psalm 27:1).
We will continue to pray for you, and we encourage you to hold fast to God’s promises. You are loved, you are valued, and you are not forgotten. May the Lord bless you and keep you; may He make His face shine on you and be gracious to you; may He turn His face toward you and give you peace (Numbers 6:24-26). In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
