Please pray for my daughter who is having her first baby anytime now. Pray for a safe quick easy delivery as she desires to go natural. And I want her to succeed with her plan. Pray the baby is healthy and wonderful. I pray my son would meet his soul mate soon as I worry about him and his choices and life. Pray for me and my husband , we are in the middle of making a very big decision and I always worry and get a lot of anxiety when making big decisions. It’s happening way faster than I planned and I am a planner. Pray this is Gods plan and all happening this way for a reason and it all goes perfectly and better than I could hope for. Miracle. Pray my husbands disability claim comes through very quickly. It’s frankly what this big move in our life was planned around and it just keeps getting delayed. Pray for my sister and her family as my brother in law lost his job that this would be a good thing for them as they need to make better lifestyle choices and this could be the wake up call they needed. But I do pray they come out of the situation favorably. Pray for my aging parents. They are increasing in age and health is a concern. They live alone and we take care of them and fear one leaving the other. Lead us to know how to handle that when it happens and for the other to be left in a good financial position. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.

We lift up your precious daughter to the Lord as she prepares to bring new life into this world. Father, we ask for Your mighty hand to be upon her, granting her strength, peace, and endurance as she labors. May her delivery be safe, swift, and aligned with her desire for a natural birth. Surround her with skilled and compassionate caregivers, and let Your presence fill the room, calming any fear or anxiety. We pray for this little one, that they would be healthy, strong, and a joy to their family. May this child be knit together in Your love and purpose, even now in the womb. "For you formed my inmost being. You knit me together in my mother’s womb. I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful. My soul knows that very well." (Psalm 139:13-14)

For your son, we pray that You would guide his steps and open his eyes to the godly spouse You have prepared for him. Lord, we ask that You would soften his heart to seek You first in all things, including his relationships. Protect him from unwise choices and surround him with godly influences who will encourage him in his walk with You. May he find a wife who loves You with all her heart, and may their union be a reflection of Christ and the Church. "He who finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor of the Lord." (Proverbs 18:22) We pray that he would not be unequally yoked but would seek a partner who shares his faith and values.

Father, we lift up this big decision you and your husband are facing. We ask that You would calm your heart and replace your anxiety with Your perfect peace. Lord, we know that You hold the future, and we ask that You would make Your will clear in this situation. Help you both to trust in Your timing and Your plan, even when it feels overwhelming. "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." (Proverbs 3:5-6) We pray that this decision would not only be the right one but that it would bring glory to Your name and bless your family abundantly.

We also bring your husband’s disability claim before You, Lord. We ask that You would move on his behalf, removing any obstacles or delays that stand in the way. Provide for your family’s needs according to Your riches in glory, and let this claim be resolved quickly and favorably. "And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." (Philippians 4:19)

For your sister and her family, we pray that this season of transition would draw them closer to You. Lord, we ask that You would use this wake-up call to redirect their steps and help them make choices that honor You. Provide for their needs and open doors of opportunity that align with Your will. May this challenge be the catalyst for positive change in their lives. "For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord, “plans for peace, and not for evil, to give you hope and a future." (Jeremiah 29:11)

Finally, we lift up your aging parents to You, Father. We ask that You would strengthen them in body and spirit, granting them health and vitality for as long as it is Your will. Give your family wisdom in caring for them and discernment in preparing for the future. Comfort their hearts and let them feel Your presence in a tangible way. Provide for their financial needs and surround them with love and support. "Even to your old age I am he, and even to gray hairs I will carry you. I have made, and I will bear. Yes, I will carry, and will deliver." (Isaiah 46:4)

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to You, Father. There is no other name by which we can be saved, and it is by His blood that we are made righteous. May Your will be done in each of these situations, and may Your name be glorified. Amen.

We're holding all of this with you right now, and there is a lot to hold. When a season packs this many big things into one stretch, it can feel like the ground keeps shifting faster than your feet can find it. You mentioned you're a planner, and we hear how painful it is when the timeline runs ahead of you. That doesn't mean you lack faith; it means you care deeply about getting this right.

With a decision this weighty in motion, one thing that sometimes helps planners is to pause long enough to name what you already know and what you still need to know before you can act. The GRACE model many counselors use starts right there, clarifying the goal before sorting through resources and alternatives. Ask yourselves: what is the one core need this move is meant to address? Write it down. Then list what information you're still waiting on (including that disability claim) and what partial step you can take now without the full picture. That small forward motion often eases the helpless feeling while you wait.

For your daughter, we simply rejoice with you. A new grandchild is coming, and we pray her body does exactly what it was designed to do.

Please do keep an eye on your anxiety through this. When a decision consumes your thoughts and disrupts sleep or daily peace, a counselor or a wise pastoral conversation can be a steady anchor, not because your faith is weak, but because many minds help carry a heavy load.

Lord, we lift up this whole family to You. Grant this daughter a safe, swift delivery and a healthy baby. Bring good work to their brother-in-law and use this disruption for his family's true good. Sustain their aging parents and give clear direction for their care. Over this couple's decision, calm the racing thoughts. Hold back what needs to wait, advance what should move, and give them quiet confidence that You are leading even when the pace feels beyond their control. In Jesus' name, amen.

The anxiety which arises through your being in a difficulty unfits you to meet that difficulty. You speak of this great decision happening faster than you planned, and you, being a planner, are beset with worry. But have you not found that the very fretting over the matter clouds the judgment needed to act wisely? There are notions that are not at all according to the realities of everyday life, flighty notions, romantic notions about our own rights, dignities, and importance. Lay these aside. Look often to the foundation of your faith, to see whether you really have believed in Jesus and have in your heart the true life which grows out of such faith. If you are trusting in Him, you may have the full assurance that you have passed from death unto life and shall never come into condemnation.

Concerning your daughter, you desire a quick and safe delivery, and that she should succeed with her plan. This is a moment of great change, a bringing forth of life. Remember that light is essential to life. There are few operations which can be carried on in the world without some degree of light, and certainly no heart can be saved without spiritual light. He who brings life and immortality to light is Christ Jesus. And you must not suppose that a Believer will have a new life granted later. Beloved, he will never die. The life quickened now by the Spirit is the same incorruptible seed which lives and abides forever. Pray that both mother and child are brought safely through this change, which is but for a moment, into the light of His countenance.

For your son, you worry over his choices and his life. The natural man receives not the things of the Spirit of God. Now that natural man is blind. The eye of the Christian is his faith; but the natural man, being destitute of a living faith in the living Saviour, is like a man without eyes. He says it is foolish; it is nothing to him. Therefore, charge your son not to kill the parents who gave him life, not to disgrace those who brought him up. But I pray you, seek the God of your father and the God of your mother, and give yourselves to the Lord Jesus Christ. There are all sorts of ways of mortal life, but there is no better provision and preparation for any kind of life on earth than to know the Lord and to have a new heart and a right spirit.

As for your aging parents, you fear one leaving the other. To the Christian death is but a change of place, and the last change at that. You may wait joyfully until your change comes, blessing God that it will come in its appointed time and that when it comes it will be a change for the better in all respects. The first day in this life is an evening and a morning, but the second day, when we shall be with God forever, shall be a day with no evening, but one sacred, high, eternal noon. Lead them gently toward that light. The reproofs of instruction are the way of life. God help you to feel that the best way of leading a noble life will be to do as they did who trained you in God’s fear.

You pray for your husband’s claim, for your sister’s household, and that all these things be God’s plan. Moses decided for God and carried it out, for he had faith in Jehovah. His faith enabled him to see the recompense of the reward, making his decision a sober, steady, law-abiding thing. His center was in the right place. So it must be with you. View the course of life in connection with the recompense of the reward, and a resolve will be taken which will make you commence a life for God and holiness. And let me tell you, there are no sweeter moments in a man’s life than those which are occupied with adoring gratitude. Let your asking be mingled with thanksgiving, remembering that the demands of God are met in the life and death of His only-begotten Son. Faith lets us see that they were met for us, and that we are clear.
