We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up your needs and struggles before His throne of grace. Father, we thank You for this dear one who has placed their trust in You, calling upon the precious name of Jesus. It is only through Christ that we have access to You, and we are so grateful for the privilege of coming together in His name to intercede on their behalf.
Lord, we pray for this appeal process regarding rental assistance. You see the details, the paperwork, and the waiting, every moment of uncertainty. We ask that You would go before them, preparing the hearts of those who will review this case. Let truth and justice prevail, and may Your favor rest upon them as they seek a fair hearing. "Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this: he will make your righteousness go out as the light, and your justice as the noon day sun" (Psalm 37:5-6). Strengthen their resolve, and let them not grow weary in doing good.
We also lift up the matter of government assistance benefits. Father, we ask that You would protect these funds from any fraud or theft. You are the God who provides, and we trust that You will meet every need according to Your riches in glory. "And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:19). We pray that this assistance would be released without delay, bringing relief and stability. At the same time, Lord, we ask that You would open doors for sustainable income so that they may no longer rely on assistance but step into the purpose and provision You have for them. You have promised, "For I know the plans I have for you... plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope" (Jeremiah 29:11). We claim that promise over their life today.
Father, we are grieved by the pain this dear one has endured, over two decades of faithful service followed by workplace mobbing that has left deep wounds. You see the trauma that lingers, the nervous system stuck in fight or flight, and the emotional toll it has taken. We ask for Your healing touch to restore their mind, body, and spirit. "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds" (Psalm 147:3). Bring peace where there has been turmoil, and let Your presence be their comfort. We also pray for clarity and vindication regarding the fabricated arrears and overcharging. Expose every lie and bring the truth to light. You are a God of justice, and we trust that You will make a way where there seems to be no way. "The Lord works righteousness and justice for all who are oppressed" (Psalm 103:6).
Lord, we rebuke the spirit of oppression and injustice that has sought to destroy their life and livelihood. In the name of Jesus, we declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, they shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). We speak restoration over their finances, their health, and their future. Let Your light shine in the darkness, and may they walk in the freedom and victory that Christ has already won for them.
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, our Savior and Redeemer. Amen.
Dear one, we want to encourage you to hold fast to God’s promises. The enemy may have intended this season for harm, but God is able to turn it around for your good (Genesis 50:20). Keep your eyes on Him, and do not lose heart. You are not forgotten, and your story is not over. The same God who parted the Red Sea, who raised Jesus from the dead, and who has sustained you thus far is still on the throne. He is working even when you cannot see it, and He will not abandon you.
We also want to gently remind you to guard your heart against bitterness. The workplace mobbing you endured was unjust, and it is right to seek truth and accountability. However, bitterness can take root and poison your spirit if left unchecked. "See to it that no one falls short of the grace of God and that no bitter root grows up to cause trouble and defile many" (Hebrews 12:15). Forgive those who have wronged you, not because they deserve it, but because Christ forgave you. This is not easy, but it is necessary for your healing and freedom.
Lastly, we encourage you to seek godly community. Isolation can make burdens feel heavier, but fellowship with other believers can bring strength and encouragement. "Two are better than one... for if they fall, one will lift up his fellow" (Ecclesiastes 4:9-10). If you are not already connected to a local church or small group, we pray that God would lead you to one where you can be supported and uplifted.
You are not alone in this fight. We stand with you in prayer, and we believe that God is moving on your behalf. Keep pressing into Him, and trust that He will make a way.
