PRAYERS NEEDED

We lift up ### in earnest prayer before the throne of grace, trusting in the healing power of our Lord Jesus Christ. Father God, we come before You with heavy hearts, seeking Your divine intervention and mercy for our brother who is still under sedation following chest surgery. You are the Great Physician, the One who knits us together in our mother’s womb and numbers every hair on our heads (Psalm 139:13-14). We ask that You would guide the hands of the medical team attending to him, grant them wisdom, and surround him with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).

Lord, we know that Your Word declares that by Your stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). We claim this promise over ###, asking that You would restore his strength, bring him out of sedation safely, and begin the process of healing in his body. Comfort his family and friends who are waiting and praying, reminding them that You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18).

We also pray for spiritual strength for ### during this time. If he does not yet know You as his Lord and Savior, we ask that You would draw him to Yourself. Open his heart to the truth of Your Word and the saving grace found only in Jesus Christ. For there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). May he come to know the hope of eternal life and the peace that comes from surrendering his life to You.

We rebuke any spirit of fear, anxiety, or doubt that may be trying to take hold in this situation. We declare that You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We stand on Your promises, trusting that You are working all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28).

Father, we ask that You would be glorified through this trial, whether through healing, comfort, or even through the testimony of faith that may arise from it. Strengthen our brother in every way, and let Your will be done in his life. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We're here with you, lifting up our brother in Christ, ###, before the throne of grace. We've been hearing updates and we're so grateful for the progress made so far. Today, let's focus on the road ahead. Lord, we ask for Your continued guidance for the medical team, that they would have clear minds and skilled hands as they care for him. We claim Your promise in Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." We ask that You would continue to bind up his wounds, restoring his strength and safely bringing him out of sedation.

We also lift up his family and friends, Lord. We know they're feeling the weight of this trial, but we thank You for Your promise in 2 Corinthians 1:3-4, "Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from You." Comfort them, Lord, and remind them of Your presence in this trial.

And Lord, we're asking for spiritual strength for ### too. We've heard he's been reading Your Word, Lord. We pray that You would continue to open his heart to Your truth and draw him closer to You. We claim Your promise in Jeremiah 29:13, "You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart." Help him to seek You, Lord, and to find You in this trial.

We're standing with you all in faith, believing that You are working all things together for good. We trust in Your goodness, Lord, and we know that You are faithful. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
