PRAYERS NEEDED

Please pray for me that God will send my Boaz soon. I am so discouraged going out all the time seeing couples while I'm still single. I've tried to do God's will to the best of my ability. My ex called off our engagement and dumped me because I stopped fornication and followed God. I was falsely accused of cheating and haven't found anyone else since. Please pray for improvement of my lawn. It has bare spots and I can't afford sod. Please pray for a higher salary so that I stop being in a financial struggle, and for me to get out more to social with friends, associates, and new friends. My daughter will be getting married next year and I will live alone, and I'm not comfortable with that due to being a female living alone. I say this because of past pranks on my property. I have cameras up now that stopped the pranks, but I'm distrustful because I don't know who was doing the pranking. I highly suspect my adult neighbor because one day I heard a loud thump noise, opened my door, my trash can was knocked down, and that neighbor was walking quickly back to her home and the only one outside Please pray that God will convict this neighbor and any other prankster, and fill their hearts with remorse. I don't even feel comfortable going out in my yard because of what's happened. I have spent too much money in my home not to enjoy it. And please pray God will get my weight down to ### this year because I am ### stage and having ### problems.

We hear your heart, dear sister in Christ, and we lift you up before the Lord with compassion and urgency. Your longing for a godly husband, a man after God’s own heart who will cherish and lead you in righteousness, is a desire the Father sees and cares about deeply. The pain of betrayal, the loneliness of singleness, and the weight of past wounds are not lost on Him. We stand with you in prayer, trusting that God is working even when the wait feels unbearable.

First, we want to affirm your obedience in honoring God by abstaining from fornication. Your ex’s decision to end the engagement because of your commitment to purity was his loss, not yours. The enemy would love to use that rejection to make you doubt your worth or question God’s timing, but we rebuke that lie in Jesus’ name. You are a daughter of the King, and your value is not defined by another’s inability to see it. The Lord says in Isaiah 62:4-5, "You shall no longer be termed Forsaken... but you shall be called Hephzibah... For as a young man marries a virgin, so your sons shall marry you; and as the bridegroom rejoices over the bride, so shall your God rejoice over you." God sees your faithfulness, and He will not leave you without a covering. We pray that He would prepare your Boaz, a man of integrity, humility, and godly strength, even now, and that He would align your paths in His perfect timing.

Your financial struggles and the burden of living alone as a woman are valid concerns, and we bring them before the Lord with urgency. The enemy seeks to isolate and intimidate, but we declare that you are not alone. Psalm 34:19 reminds us, "Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all." We pray for supernatural provision over your finances, that God would open doors for a higher salary, unexpected blessings, or creative solutions to meet your needs. We also pray for protection over your home and property. The pranks and harassment you’ve endured are not from God, and we rebuke the spirit of fear and intimidation in Jesus’ name. Proverbs 3:25-26 says, "Don’t be afraid of sudden fear... for the Lord will be your confidence, and will keep your foot from being caught." We ask the Holy Spirit to convict the heart of your neighbor and any others involved, that they would be filled with godly sorrow and cease their actions. We also pray for wisdom for you, whether to confront the situation in love or to trust God’s justice as you continue to walk in faith.

Your daughter’s upcoming marriage is a joyful milestone, but we understand the grief of an empty nest can be heavy. We pray that God would fill your home with His peace and presence, and that He would surround you with godly community, friends, church family, and mentors who will walk with you. Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 says, "Two are better than one... for if they fall, one will lift up his fellow." We encourage you to seek out fellowship, whether through small groups, volunteer opportunities, or even inviting neighbors over for tea (after the pranks cease!). Isolation is not God’s design for you.

Regarding your health, we pray for discipline and breakthrough. Your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20), and we ask God to give you strength, self-control, and a plan that honors Him. Whether through prayer, accountability, or practical steps, we believe He will help you reach your goals. We also pray for joy to return to your heart, joy in your home, your yard, your work, and your walk with God. Nehemiah 8:10 says, "The joy of the Lord is your strength."

Lastly, we must gently address the absence of Jesus’ name in your request. It is only through Christ that we have access to the Father (John 14:6), and there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not already, we encourage you to surrender your life fully to Him, confessing your sins, believing in His death and resurrection, and inviting Him to be Lord of every area, including your singleness, finances, and safety. He is the Good Shepherd who leaves the ninety-nine to find the one (Luke 15:4-6), and He is pursuing you even now.

Let us pray:

"Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our sister, lifting up every burden and longing of her heart. Lord, You see her faithfulness, her pain, and her desires. We ask that You would send her a godly husband, a man who will love her as Christ loves the Church, lead her in righteousness, and cherish her as a gift from You. Prepare her heart and his, and align their paths in Your perfect timing.

We pray for financial breakthrough, Father. Open doors for promotion, unexpected provision, and wisdom in stewardship. Meet every need according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). We also pray for protection over her home. Convict the hearts of those causing harm, and fill them with remorse. Surround her with Your angels, and give her peace that surpasses understanding (Philippians 4:7).

Lord, we ask for community and fellowship to fill the empty spaces in her life. Bring godly friends, mentors, and opportunities for connection. Heal her heart from past wounds, and restore her joy. Help her to steward her health well, giving her discipline and strength.

Most of all, we pray that she would draw near to You, Jesus. Be her comfort, her provider, and her defender. May she know the depth of Your love for her, and may her trust in You grow stronger each day. We declare that her story is not over, Your plans for her are good, and Your timing is perfect.

In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus, we pray. Amen."

Hold fast to hope, sister. The same God who parted the Red Sea, raised Lazarus from the dead, and turned Saul into Paul is at work in your life. He is not late; He is never early, but He is always on time. Keep your eyes on Him, and trust that He is writing a beautiful story, one where every delay, every heartache, and every unmet longing is being woven together for your good and His glory. You are loved, you are seen, and you are not forgotten.

We hear how heavy all of this feels right now, the ache of loneliness, the sting of being punished for doing the right thing, the weight of financial strain, and the unsettling fear of not feeling safe in your own yard. That is a lot to carry alone, and we’re genuinely sorry you are walking through it.

When loneliness presses in, worshiping with others can quietly push back that sense of isolation. Being planted in a small group, a Sunday school class, or even a serving team where people know your name and notice when you are missing matters more than anything else we could suggest this week. If your church has a group for single adults or a ministry team you could join, that steady connection with real faces may do more for your heart than waiting for a relationship ever could in the meantime. Serving alongside others often builds friendships that sustain us while we wait for other prayers to be answered.

For the physical side of things, the lawn you have poured money into and the health concerns, there are small, grounded next steps worth taking. Could someone from church or a neighborhood teen do a simple patch of the bare spots with seed and some good soil as a low-cost kindness? That might give you one less thing to stare at out the window. And with ### and the ### you mentioned, a visit to your doctor would be wise. A professional can help you sort out what is normal ### and what might need attention, so you are not just struggling through it alone. We would gently urge you to book that appointment soon.

For the uneasy feeling about your neighbor, we simply ask Jesus to calm your spirit when you step outside. You have already done the wise thing with the cameras, and we pray that small sense of safety grows enough that you can reclaim your garden and your front porch this season.

Please pray with us:

Lord Jesus, we lift up our sister. You see her loneliness, her weariness from doing the right thing, and her longing for a godly spouse. Meet her in that ache and give her a few steady, caring friends who really see her. Provide for the bare spots in her lawn and the tight places in her budget, open a door for a raise or a small windfall in a way only You can arrange. Restore her sense of safety at home and, if there is someone whose conscience needs stirring, do that quiet work, Lord. Help her find wise medical guidance for her body, and give her steady hope day by day. We trust You to be her provider, her shield, and her companion. In Jesus’ name, amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The soul that has learned to wait upon God has found the secret of peace. To wait only upon Him is to be silent before Him, calm and undisturbed, even when the blessing tarries. You have done right to cease from fornication and follow after God, though it cost you an engagement. The world calls this a loss, but Heaven records it as a gain. The Lord sees your obedience, and He is not unrighteous to forget it. When we turn from sin at great personal cost, we honor Him, and He will honor us. Do not think your singleness is a forgotten corner of His providence. The very fact that you feel your need and cry out for a Boaz is evidence that the Lord is dealing with you. Wherever there is a genuine prayer, God gave it. If He has made you seek, He will not mock your seeking. But let your waiting be only upon God. Fix your hope on no human arm, for a husband, however godly, will still be a broken cistern. The Lord Himself must be your portion first and foremost. If you have grace to turn your eye to Him, you may walk straight on in confidence. He who waits to be gracious to you will not be defeated.

The fear that has crept into your own yard is a snare. "Fear not, thou worm Jacob; I will help thee, saith the Lord." This command chides fear and forbids dismay. You have been subject to unkind pranks, and suspicion has entered your heart against your neighbor. This is a heavy trial, for a home should be a haven. But remember, the fear of man bringeth a snare. To live in dread of going into your own garden is to give the enemy ground that belongs to the child of God. You have cameras set; that is prudence. Now lift the matter higher. Pray that God will convict those who trouble you, and fill their hearts with remorse, as you have asked. That is a right prayer. But also ask the Lord to flood your own heart with such a sense of His protective presence that fear is driven out. Why should you fear? He who is Man as well as God, Jesus Christ, knows our loneliness and our distrust. He lived among hostile men. He is able to calm your spirit. The Almighty is not defeated; He can make even your neighbor's heart soft, or He can make your heart so steeled with peace that the pranks lose their sting. Only do not let suspicion fester into bitterness, for that would be a moth eating your garment unseen.

Bring your lawn, your salary, your weight, your social isolation, all of it, to the throne. These are not trifles. Still keep on wrestling with God until your prayers are answered. Jericho's walls did not fall the first day. The widow of the gospel kept coming to the unjust judge. Your bare spots of grass and your bare cupboards are not unknown to the One who feeds the ravens. He who clothes the lilies can make your lawn green in His own time and by means you have not considered. As for your wage, "They that wait on the Lord shall not want any good thing." Yet waiting does not mean idleness; it means active dependence. Seek out friendships among the people of God for fellowship, for you will soon face an empty house after your daughter's marriage. Do not neglect the means of grace, the gathering of the saints, for isolation can be a breeding ground for despondency. Your desire to lower your weight for health is a fit subject for prayer, but it also calls for the humbling of self-discipline. God resisteth the proud but giveth grace to the humble. Bring your body into subjection not as a way to earn His love, but as an act of stewardship because He has loved you.

The broken engagement has left a wound, but see in it the Lord's severe mercy. The chain of a sinful union was snapped so that you might not be bound to a man who would not walk with God. The false accusation stings, but He knows your innocence. Now, do not let the single life become a prison of distrust. Your daughter marries, and you dread the solitude. Yet the saint is never alone who has God for company. When everything else has broken down, we come back to God and to salvation through Jesus Christ, and we find Him lovingly waiting. His heart yearns towards His people. If your salvation rested on yourself, you might despair, but the Lord has laid help on One that is mighty. Even in your loneliness, you have a grand opportunity to honor God by an abiding confidence. Fear not. Fear not. It is not the preacher who cries it, but it is Jesus Himself who whispers to His poor servant, fallen as dead at His feet, "Fear not." He is your Boaz, your Kinsman-Redeemer, and He will not withhold any true thing from you. Wait only upon Him.

You have stopped fornication and followed God, and for this you were cast off. Do not marvel: the world hates those who are not of the world. You did well, and God saw it. Yet now you are discouraged, looking at couples and longing for a Boaz. Tell me, does a sick man gaze at healthy men and grow bitter, or does he seek the physician? You are not forgotten. Remember that centurion who sought health for his servant: he accounted himself unworthy, yet he had great faith, and Christ gave him more than he asked, he sought bodily health and received a kingdom. Seek first the kingdom of heaven, and all these things shall be added. You cry for a husband, but perhaps God withholds what you think good to give you what is truly needful. Did He not say, Let him who thinks he stands take heed lest he fall? You have stood, by grace; do not now fall into the slough of despondency. The proud heart that demands its season of comfort is in worse health than the body with dropsy. Lowliness of mind brings all good: patience, love, soberness. Haughtiness brings a swarm of beasts. Art thou strong because thou didst obey? Bury thyself for shame! For it was God who enabled you.

You fear living alone because of pranks, a knocked-down trash can, a neighbor walking quickly. And so you are imprisoned in your own home, distrustful, watching cameras. God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and love and a sound mind. What is this terror but a fever of the soul, a demon of suspicion? You suspect your neighbor because you saw her walking back to her house. Judge not according to appearance. Do you know her heart? You pray God would convict her and fill her with remorse. That is well; but pray also that He would convict you of your own rash judgment. The mother of all evils is to esteem your neighbor’s concerns as foreign. You see a prank and think only of your own peace. Where is your grieving for her soul? Suppose she is guilty: her condition calls for pity, for prayer, for reproof given with such love that she would not start away. Even if you must be insulted, even struck, decline it not. The surgeons are cried out against, yet they cut for health. So bear all things that she may be saved. And if she is innocent, your suspicion has wounded both her and yourself. A demon makes a man humble and ashamed after an attack; sin, like rash judgment, makes the soul more insensible. You say you cannot enjoy your yard. But is the yard your kingdom? Thorns and bare spots on a lawn: these are not the thorns that choke the word. Wealth is a thorn, good for nothing but to kindle fire. Your lawn, your salary, these are outward. Seek you health for the whole man, not partial health. You spent money on your home and declare you must enjoy it. And if robbers break in, or moth and rust consume, where is your enjoyment? Poverty is not to be feared, but the unwillingness to be poor. If you practise self-command, poverty is a fountain of countless blessings.

You were falsely accused and your engagement broken. This, too, is a furnace. Those who are punished here, if they bear it thankfully, put away many sins. Do not grow bitter; do not say, “I did right and suffered wrong.” He who knew no sin was reviled and opened not His mouth. Your weight, your bodily struggles, these are little things compared with the soul’s soundness. The flesh will return to dust; why do you toil for that which perishes? Let your soul be kept low and restrained, free from the inflation of pride and fear. Then you will go into your yard with a quiet heart; then you will see your neighbor not as a threat but as a soul for whom Christ died. Then, whether married or alone, you will not be terrified by any prank, for you will know that the dead are raised, the gates of brass broken. The barbarians came from afar and worshipped with fear. Let us, who are citizens of heaven, imitate them: worship with awe, and do not tremble at a noise in the night.

Your ache for a husband and your honest frustration are not hidden from the Lord. The loneliness you feel, seeing couples, the sting of being falsely accused after choosing obedience, the fear of an empty home once your daughter marries, all of this matters to Him. The fact that you stopped fornication and followed God even when it cost you an engagement shows that you are learning what it means to fear the Lord. That reverence, that choice to hate what He calls evil, is the true starting point of wisdom and knowledge. It is not a small thing. Do not despise the step you took, though it led through pain.

That desire for a Boaz is not wrong, but let your understanding of Boaz be your comfort. Boaz was a godly man in a time when few feared God, a kinsman who redeemed a desperate foreigner. Ruth put herself under God’s wings by clinging to Naomi and to the God of Israel, and then she waited, serving faithfully until Boaz acted. More than that, every Boaz is a faint shadow of the true Kinsman-Redeemer, Jesus Christ, who gave Himself for you. Let your soul rest first in His love. When your heart is anchored there, the fear of a future alone loses its grip.

The worry about pranks, the neighbor, and being by yourself is understandable, but remember that fear and faith cannot share the same space. You said you have cameras; that is a practical, wise measure, and you were right to take it. But do not let fear push you off your own property or rob you of peace. Scripture says, "Be not afraid of sudden fear, neither of the desolation of the wicked when it comes, for the Lord shall be your confidence." When you fix your mind on Him, His greatness, His care, that reverent fear drives out the craven fear. Paul in the middle of a storm that seemed sure to kill everyone stood up and said, "Be of good cheer, for I believe God." He had a promise to stand on, and so do you. You are His, and He watches over you. Pray for your neighbor’s conviction, as you asked, and then leave her with the Lord. Go enjoy your yard in the confidence that He keeps your foot from being taken.

The financial strain and the bare spots in the lawn are daily burdens He invites you to hand over. Honor the Lord with what you have, even as you ask for a higher salary. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and that wisdom teaches us to trust Him with firstfruits and to seek His kingdom before all else. He knows your need. As for your health and your weight, there is a connection between a soul at rest in God and the physical body. It is not a magic promise of healing, but a principle: as your soul prospers in walking with truth, pray that your whole being may be strengthened. Take practical steps for your body, but do it out of care for the temple God has given you, not punishment.

You are not forgotten. The false accusation, the broken trust, the waiting, none of it escapes His eye. Keep walking in the light you have, keep fearing Him and hating evil, and do not let discouragement make decisions for you. He who began a good work in you will be faithful to complete it.

We want to thank you for the privilege of standing with you in prayer over these past days. It has been our joy to lift up your heart’s deepest desires before the Lord—your longing for a godly partner, the restoration of your lawn, financial provision, safety in your home, and the healing of your heart after past hurts. We’ve prayed for your daughter’s upcoming wedding and for peace as you prepare for this new season of life. We’ve asked God to soften the hearts of those who may have caused you fear or discomfort and to bring conviction where it is needed. We’ve also sought His strength for you as you pursue health and wholeness in every area of your life.

If any of these prayers have been answered—if you’ve seen God move in even the smallest way—we would love to hear your praise report so we can rejoice with you. If you’re still waiting, please know we are not finished praying. We will continue to stand in agreement with you, trusting that God hears and is at work, even when we cannot yet see it.

May the Lord bless you with His peace that surpasses understanding. May He remind you daily of His unfailing love and provision. And may He draw near to you as you seek Him through His Son, Jesus Christ. We pray all these things in Jesus’ Name.
