We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this situation to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, who alone is the righteous Judge. Father, we know that You see all things and that no false accusation can stand before Your truth. The Bible tells us in Proverbs 19:5, "A false witness shall not be unpunished. He who pours out lies shall not go free." Lord, we ask that You expose every falsehood in these court cases and bring forth Your justice. Let the truth prevail, and let every deceitful scheme be brought to nothing.
We also pray for the soul of this loved one, that their heart would be softened to receive the truth of the Gospel. Romans 10:9 says, "If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved." Father, we ask that You draw them to Yourself, that they may know the peace and freedom that comes only through faith in Christ. Remove any hardness of heart, any pride, or any deception that keeps them from surrendering to You. Let them experience Your love in a way that leaves no doubt of Your reality.
We rebuke the enemy’s plans to ensnare this person in legal troubles and spiritual blindness. The devil comes only to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life abundantly (John 10:10). We stand on Your promise in Isaiah 54:17, "No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that accuses you in judgment. This is the heritage of the Lord’s servants, and their righteousness is from Me." Lord, let this be their testimony.
We pray for wisdom and favor in the courtroom, that those in authority would be guided by Your Spirit to see the truth. May Your will be done in every hearing and every decision. We also pray for protection over this person’s mind and emotions, that they would not be overwhelmed by fear or anxiety but would rest in Your sovereignty.
Above all, we pray that this trial would lead them to repentance and faith in Jesus Christ. If they have not yet surrendered their life to You, Lord, break through every barrier and reveal Yourself to them in a powerful way. Let them know that there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). May they turn from sin and trust in Christ alone for their salvation.
We declare victory in Jesus’ name, for You are the God who delivers and redeems. We trust You to work all things together for good for those who love You (Romans 8:28). Strengthen this person’s faith, and let them walk in the freedom that comes from knowing You. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
