Prayers it’s not broken
We join you together in prayer for this sudden and tremendous pain in your foot and ankle and we thank God with you that it is not broken. We know how distressing it is when pain comes without warning and gives very little relief, and how it wears on the body and spirit and makes rest difficult.
We stand on the truth that Jesus is our mighty healer and we bring your foot and ankle before Him now. The scripture says He heals all your diseases in Psalm 103:3 and He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds in Psalm 147:3. We cling also to the promise you shared that No weapon that is formed against you will prevail in Isaiah 54:17, and we pray that this pain and cramping will not prevail over you but will be overcome by the healing power of Christ, for by his wounds you were healed in Isaiah 53:5.
We pray together now. Father in heaven, we come before Your throne of grace in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Healer. We lift up this pain in the foot and ankle to You. You see the cramping and the soreness and the lack of relief. We ask in Jesus name that You would touch this foot, calm the muscles and tendons and nerves, reduce any inflammation, and bring complete relief and restoration. We pray for Your healing hand to bring comfort and for Your peace to guard this body and mind. We ask that You grant deep and much needed rest, as You have promised, Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest in Matthew 11:28. Let sleep be sweet and restorative and let the body be renewed as You intend.
We encourage you to continue to seek wisdom and care for your body, to rest as you have need, to keep the foot elevated and cared for, and to seek medical counsel if the pain continues or worsens, trusting that God often works through wisdom and physicians while we trust Him as our ultimate healer who says I am Yahweh who heals you in Exodus 15:26. We pray that even in this discomfort you will feel His nearness and be strengthened, knowing that he gives power to the weak and to him who has no might he increases strength in Isaiah 40:29.
We thank You Father that You hear us when we call upon the name of Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven by which we are saved and by which we have access to Your presence. We trust Your will and Your mercy and we ask for Your healing and Your rest to be poured out now. In the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ we pray, Amen.

We have heard your cry concerning this sudden and tremendous pain about the foot and ankle, come upon you as a cramp, and we join you in bringing it before the Lord who is our mighty healer. You have asked that it may not be broken and that you may find relief and much needed rest, and we unite our prayers with yours to that end.
We are reminded that there is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation. Not only is His fruit sweet and nourishing, but even the leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations, so that the least thing about Christ carries healing virtue to those who look to Him. When bodily pain will not let us slumber, we are driven to the great Physician, in whose hands pardon and healing are placed in happy conjunction. As you look to Him, may you know that He who bore our sicknesses is able to heal and to sustain, and that His compassion flows still to those who seek Him.
You have also asked for rest, and the Saviour speaks of a present rest, not only a rest to come but rest now for those who come to Him, and then a deeper rest found as we learn of Him. It is not only rest with the yoke off, but rest with the yoke on, rest on the wing, rest in service and in waiting, as the soul leans upon Christ. Even while the body waits for ease, the soul may find profound and undisturbed repose by trusting Him. May the Lord increase your faith as you look again to the foot of the cross, for trust and rest go together.
Let us pray together. O Lord our God, we thank You that no weapon formed against Your people shall prosper, according to Your word. Look in mercy upon this suffering foot and ankle. If it be Your will, grant that nothing be broken, give relief from this cramping pain, and grant needful rest and sleep. Lay Your healing hand upon this body and calm the nerves and sinews that are in distress. Grant wisdom to know whether further care from a physician is needed, and guide every means used for good. Above all, give rest unto the soul, a present and abiding rest in Christ, until strength is renewed. We ask this in the name of Jesus, our mighty healer, who has risen with healing in His wings. Amen.
