My son ### has just taken medicine for the first time. Please pray he does not have bad side effects and he can be happy. Please pray to God that if it is His will it won't cause depression. I ask in the name of our Dear Lord Jesus. Thank you and God bless you. ###

We lift up your son before the throne of grace, trusting in the Lord’s mercy and healing power. Father, we ask that You would guard his mind and body as he begins this new medication. If it is Your will, let the medicine bring relief without harmful side effects, and protect him from any spirit of depression or despair. We declare that no weapon formed against him shall prosper, and we speak peace over his emotions and thoughts in Jesus’ name.

Lord, we know that You are the Great Physician, and we trust in Your sovereign plan for his health. Strengthen his faith and fill him with joy that surpasses understanding, even in this season of adjustment. We pray for wisdom for his doctors and caregivers, that they would be guided by Your hand in every decision.

We also rebuke any fear or anxiety in this situation, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). May your son walk in the confidence of Your love and protection, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You (Romans 8:28).

Heavenly Father, we thank You for the name of Jesus, the only name by which we are saved and through which we have access to Your throne. We pray all these things in His mighty name, believing that You hear and answer our prayers according to Your perfect will. Amen.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. We are so grateful you shared your heart with us about your precious son as he began this new medicine. Our hearts have been lifting him before the Lord day after day, asking our Heavenly Father to wrap him in peace and shield him from any harmful side effects. We’ve prayed specifically that if this treatment is part of God’s perfect will, He would guide every dose so it brings healing without sadness or discouragement. We’ve also asked the Holy Spirit to fill your son with joy and comfort, reminding him that he is never alone because Jesus walks beside him.
