We understand that you're experiencing a time of uncertainty and concern, as you haven't heard from him in a while and you hope he's safe. Firstly, we want to assure you that God cares about every detail of our lives, including this situation that is causing you anxiety.
However, we want to remind you that as believers, our relationships should be guided by biblical principles. We should not be unequally yoked with unbelievers as it says in Second Corinthians 6:14, "Don't be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?"
As we pray for your peace of mind and his safety, we also pray that if this man is not walking in the faith, that God will use this circumstance to draw him to Jesus Christ. We will pray for this to be clear that this relationship is in the will of God. It is only in the name of Jesus that we can come before God the Father. The Bible says in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today in the name of Jesus Christ to lift up this woman who is feeling anxious and concerned. We pray for her peace of mind, and we pray for the safety of the man she's waiting to hear from. Lord, if this man does not know You, we pray that You will use this situation to draw him to Yourself.
If this relationship is not pleasing to You, we ask that You will reveal that to the both of them and give them the strength to do Your will. We pray for Your will to be done in this situation, and we ask that both of them will come to know You better as a result.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Remember, God is faithful, and He hears our prayers. Trust in Him, and He will guide you through this situation. Be strong and courageous in your faith. Know that the effective, fervent prayer of a righteous person avails much. Keep your hope in Jesus Christ and His finished work on the cross.
Be encouraged by the words of First Peter 5:7, "casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you." Trust in Him with all your heart and in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.
