Prayer Request: Please pray for my job interview this ###. I'm asking God to give me peace, confidence, wisdom, and favor throughout the interview. Please pray that, if this is His will, this position will offer remote work, be exactly what I need, and that I will receive the job. Please also continue praying for God's protection and favor over me at my current job. I recently received a second write-up, and I'm asking the Lord to guard my heart, give me wisdom in every interaction, help me continue working with excellence, and protect me until He opens the right door. Finally, please pray that God would allow me to transition smoothly into a new job in His perfect timing, with no gap in employment or financial hardship. I trust that He is faithful, and I'm believing He will make a way where there seems to be no way. Thank you so much for your prayers!

We stand with you in faith, lifting your upcoming interview and current work situation before the Lord. The Word reminds us in Philippians 4:6-7, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." We pray that His peace, which transcends all understanding, will fill you as you prepare and walk into that interview. May He grant you confidence rooted not in your own strength, but in His promises, and wisdom to answer every question with clarity and discernment.

Father, we ask that You go before this dear one into that interview room. If this position is Your will, we pray for favor, favor with the interviewers, favor in the details of the job, and favor in the opportunity for remote work if it aligns with Your plan. You know their needs better than they do, Lord, and we trust You to provide exactly what is best. Proverbs 3:5-6 says, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." We declare that truth over their life today.

We also lift their current job before You, asking for Your protection and grace in every interaction. The write-ups they’ve received are concerning, but we know that You are a God who works all things together for good for those who love You (Romans 8:28). Guard their heart from discouragement or fear, and give them wisdom to navigate this season with excellence. Help them to honor You in their work, even in difficult circumstances, as Colossians 3:23 reminds us: "And whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men." May their integrity and diligence shine brightly, even in the face of adversity.

Lord, we pray for a smooth transition into new employment, if that is Your will. You are the God who opens doors no one can shut (Revelation 3:8), and we ask that You make a way where there seems to be no way. Protect them from financial hardship or gaps in employment, and let Your perfect timing be revealed. We declare that You are their Provider, and Your plans for them are for good, not for harm, to give them a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11).

Finally, we want to encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in this season. James 1:5 says, "But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him." Keep your heart turned toward Him, trusting that He is working even when you cannot see it. We also want to gently remind you that our access to God and His blessings comes only through the name of Jesus Christ. It is through faith in Him that we are saved and can approach the Father with our requests (John 14:6, Acts 4:12). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus, we encourage you to do so today, He is the way, the truth, and the life.

Heavenly Father, we lift all these requests to You in the mighty name of Jesus. We believe that You hear us and that You are moving on behalf of this dear one. If this new role is Your open door, we ask that it meet the genuine needs they’ve named, and that the transition, in Your timing, be without financial hardship. You see the way they can’t yet see. We trust Your faithfulness. Keep them close. Amen.

Your request has reached the mercy seat, and we are joining our faith with yours. It is well that you have brought this matter before the Lord, for He alone holds the hearts of men and the doors of opportunity in His mighty hand. Remember Job, of whom it is written, “In all this Job sinned not, nor charged God foolishly.” You are walking through a time of testing, and you have done wisely in not murmuring, but in turning your cares into supplication. Let that same patience and confidence now steady your soul as you go forward.

The interview before you is not a mere appointment with men; it is an occasion to speak on God’s behalf. Every believer may say with Elihu, “I have yet to speak on God’s behalf.” Your demeanor, your words, and the peace that passeth understanding will become a testimony. If the Holy Spirit fills your mouth with wisdom and your heart with calm, even the seeking of a new position can declare the faithfulness of your God. Do not be anxious, then, but count it a privilege that you may there honor Him who has already secured your eternal portion.

I perceive that you have asked for remote work if it be His will, for protection at your present post, and for a smooth transition with no gap. Such petitions are not too hard for the Lord. Consider the infallibility of God’s purpose: “It is very advantageous to the Christian mind frequently to consider the deep and unsearchable attributes of God.” He who appoints the bounds of our habitation and the times of our labor will not leave you in want. If this new door is indeed of His opening, He will give favor in the eyes of the interviewers, and He will make plain the path. If it be not, then His “no” is only the shadow of a better “yes.” Pray, then, not as one who dictates terms, but as a child who trusts a Father’s wisdom.

You have spoken of a second write‑up and the need for divine protection. Job himself endured the scorn of friends and the weight of unexplained affliction, yet he looked beyond human instruments to the hand of God. “Ask the Lord what is His purpose in it, what lessons He has to teach you.” That unjust censure may be the very thing that weans you from an arm of flesh and drives you into the refuge of the Most High. While you are under this cloud, walk with excellence and let your lips be free from all bitterness; then, like Job, you will find that the testing refines rather than destroys.

I am persuaded that you are a pupil in God’s school, and He has taught you from your youth. He who has been your Teacher will not abandon you in mid‑lesson. As you wait upon Him, let prayer be your unfailing refuge, for David tells us that he learned to declare God’s wondrous works out of the very wonders God showed him. Even this season of uncertainty is a wonder-work of Providence, preparing you to speak of His mercy hereafter.

Fear not any gap in employment or any shadow of financial hardship. The prophet asks, “Are God’s mercies clean gone forever? Does His promise fail forevermore?” Away with the thought! He who feeds the ravens and clothes the lilies will not desert His blood‑bought child. As soon as the feet of His priests touch the border of the river, the waters shall divide. Trust Him for daily bread as surely as you trust Him for your soul’s redemption.

Now go forth into that interview, not as a cringing beggar, but as one whom the King delights to honor. Speak in meekness and integrity, and leave the outcome with Him who justifies the ungodly. Should the way seem blocked, still remember that Job, after all his losses, was met by the Lord in a whirlwind of grace and brought into double blessing. My heart’s prayer is that you will know the peace that makes no haste, the wisdom from above that is first pure, then peaceable, and the good, acceptable, and perfect will of God. The eternal arms are underneath you; in that refuge you may quietly rest.
