Prayers for success and moving forward

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Please pray the I can move out of a difficult period and a period of frustrating stagnation and into a new chapter of success both financially, personally and professionally, I especially ask for prayers to help me find the right course to further my education and the right job to allow family/work balance and happiness. I would also love to meet a special person who will love me and my daughter and be part of our life. My daughter is unsettled by her father's actions and I ask for prayers to bring her peace and acceptance and forgiveness of his treatment of us. Finally I ask for prayers of life and happiness going forward and to learn and improve from my previous experiences. Thank you in Jesus name, Amen

We lift you up in prayer, sister, knowing that the Lord hears your heart’s cry and longs to lead you into a season of renewal, purpose, and godly fulfillment. Your request is deeply felt, and we stand with you in faith, trusting that God is already at work in every area of your life—your career, your education, your daughter’s heart, and your future as a wife and mother in His perfect timing.

First, we rejoice that you have invoked the name of Jesus in your prayer, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and receive His promises. As Scripture declares, *"There is no other name under heaven that has been given among men, by which we must be saved"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). Your faith in Christ is the foundation upon which all these requests will be answered, and we encourage you to continue seeking Him first in every decision, for *"seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well"* (Matthew 6:33, WEB).

You have walked through a difficult season, and we acknowledge the frustration of stagnation and the weariness that comes with it. But take heart, for the Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). He is not unaware of your struggles—He is preparing you for what lies ahead. The apostle Paul reminds us that *"our light affliction, which is for the moment, works for us more and more exceedingly an eternal weight of glory"* (2 Corinthians 4:17, WEB). This season is not wasted; God is refining you, teaching you dependence on Him, and equipping you for the new chapter He has ordained.

As you seek the right course for further education and a job that allows for family and work balance, we pray for divine wisdom and discernment. *"If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him"* (James 1:5, WEB). Ask the Lord to open doors that no man can shut and to close those that are not His will. Trust that He will guide your steps, for *"a man’s steps are from Yahweh. How then can man understand his way?"* (Proverbs 20:24, WEB). We pray that the Lord would provide favor with employers, clarity in your studies, and opportunities that align with His purpose for your life—one that honors Him and allows you to be the mother your daughter needs.

Regarding your desire to meet a special person who will love you and your daughter, we pray with you for a godly husband—a man who fears the Lord, leads with integrity, and cherishes you both as Christ loves the church. Marriage is a sacred covenant, and we encourage you to seek a man who is a believer, for *"don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?"* (2 Corinthians 6:14, WEB). Courtship should be intentional, with the goal of marriage, and rooted in prayer. We also urge you to guard your heart and your daughter’s heart, ensuring that any relationship honors God and reflects His design for family. If there has been any compromise in this area in the past, we gently remind you that *"flee sexual immorality! ‘Every sin that a man does is outside the body,’ but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body"* (1 Corinthians 6:18, WEB). Purity in thought and action is essential as you prepare for the marriage God has for you.

Your daughter’s heart is precious to the Lord, and we pray for her peace and healing. The pain caused by her father’s actions is real, but God is the Father to the fatherless and the defender of those who are hurting (Psalm 68:5). We pray that she would experience the Lord’s comfort and forgiveness, not holding onto bitterness but releasing it to Jesus, who can turn even this pain into a testimony of His grace. Teach her to forgive, as Christ forgave us, for *"if you don’t forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses"* (Matthew 6:15, WEB). May she see in you a model of strength, faith, and trust in God’s sovereignty.

Finally, we pray for a life marked by joy, growth, and godly contentment. The enemy may try to steal your hope with reminders of past hurts or failures, but *"don’t be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God"* (Romans 12:2, WEB). Let go of what is behind and press forward, for *"forgetting the things which are behind, and stretching forward to the things which are before, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus"* (Philippians 3:13-14, WEB).

**Our Prayer for You:**
Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our sister, lifting her needs, her heart, and her future into Your capable hands. Lord, You see the weariness of this season, the longing for movement and progress, and we ask that You break every chain of stagnation in Jesus’ name. Open doors for her education and career that align with Your will—doors that bring provision, balance, and joy. Give her wisdom to recognize Your leading and courage to step into the new things You are preparing.

Father, we pray for her daughter’s heart. Heal the wounds left by her father’s actions and fill her with Your peace that surpasses understanding. Teach her to forgive, Lord, and guard her heart from bitterness. Let her see Your love through her mother’s faith and strength.

Lord, we ask for a godly husband for our sister—a man after Your own heart who will love her and her daughter as Christ loves the church. Prepare them both for this covenant, and let any relationship formed be pure, intentional, and centered on You. Help her to wait on Your timing, trusting that You are working even now.

We rebuke every spirit of discouragement, fear, or doubt that would try to hinder her steps. Fill her with Your Holy Spirit, renew her mind, and let her walk in the confidence that she is Your beloved daughter. May her life be a testimony of Your faithfulness, and may she and her daughter experience Your joy and abundance in every area.

Thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your promises and declare that You are making all things new. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray, Amen.
