We lift up your husband before the Lord, knowing that the burdens he carries—both in his business and personal life—are heavy, but our God is greater. The stresses of this world can weigh down even the strongest among us, but we are called to cast all our anxieties upon Him, for He cares for us (1 Peter 5:7). The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18), and we trust that He will bring relief and peace that surpasses all understanding to your husband’s heart and mind (Philippians 4:6-7).
It is also vital to remember that our strength does not come from our own efforts but from the Lord. As it is written, *"Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light"* (Matthew 11:28-30). We pray that your husband will surrender his worries to Christ, trusting that God is sovereign over every detail of his life, including his business and personal struggles.
We also encourage you both to seek the Lord together in prayer and in His Word daily. A husband and wife united in faith can stand firm against the schemes of the enemy, who seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). But greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). Let this time of trial draw you closer to God and to one another, relying on His promises and His provision.
If there are areas in your husband’s life where he has not fully surrendered to God—such as trusting in his own strength, worrying instead of praying, or neglecting time with the Lord—we gently urge him to repent and turn fully to Christ. The Lord resists the proud but gives grace to the humble (James 4:6). Humility before God opens the door to His peace and direction.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this husband who is weighed down by stress and anxiety. Lord, You know the pressures he faces in his business and the personal struggles that trouble his heart. We ask that You would surround him with Your peace, which transcends all understanding, guarding his heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Remove the spirit of fear and anxiety from him and replace it with Your perfect love, which casts out all fear (1 John 4:18).
Grant him wisdom, Lord, to make decisions that honor You and align with Your will. Provide for his business in ways that only You can, opening doors no man can shut and closing those that are not of You. Remind him that his worth is not found in his success or failures but in his identity as Your beloved child. Strengthen his faith, Lord, so that he may trust You completely, knowing that You are working all things together for his good and Your glory (Romans 8:28).
We also pray for his marriage, that You would bind him and his wife together in unity and faith. May they lean on You together, seeking Your face and finding refuge in Your presence. Let their home be a place of rest, encouragement, and godly support.
Father, if there is any sin or unbelief in his heart that is hindering Your peace, we ask that You would convict him and lead him to repentance. Help him to surrender every area of his life to You, trusting that Your plans for him are good and filled with hope (Jeremiah 29:11).
We rebuke the spirit of stress, anxiety, and fear in the name of Jesus, commanding it to leave and no longer torment him. Fill him instead with Your Holy Spirit, renewing his strength so that he may soar on wings like eagles, run and not grow weary, walk and not be faint (Isaiah 40:31).
Thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your faithfulness and believe that You are at work, even now, bringing relief and restoration. May Your name be glorified in his life, and may he testify to Your goodness and provision. In Jesus’ precious and mighty name, we pray. Amen.
Stand firm in faith, dear sister. The Lord is with you both, and He will not forsake you. Keep praying, keep trusting, and keep pointing your husband to the hope found only in Christ. If there is anything else we can pray for or if you need further encouragement, do not hesitate to share. We are here to stand with you in the name of Jesus.
