Prayers for Relationship & Important Upcoming Exam

Disciple of Prayer
Goodmorning all. I come to you all with a bit of a heavy and overwhelmed heart at this moment in time. To recap, I’ve previously asked you all to pray for my relationship. I thank you all and come to you once again not under the same circumstances but a different one. My relationship has been going much better since I’ve prayed and let go and let God do his thing. I’ve made progress and we have a better understanding of one another. We did not break up and worked out our problems. It was on the verge of happening the breakup but we realized that we loved each other a lot and really wanted this to workout and we have been through too much with one another. Recently, I spoke to him about little things. He lied before about things because he thought I’d get mad and I’d be upset about things but lying doesn’t make it any better and I’ve explained that to him. Lately, we’ve been in a good place please God except that I want you all to pray that my relationship keeps going strong. That he gains patience, soften his heart, get understanding and realize sometimes what he’s doing. Sometimes I don’t message or call all the time I’m trying to give him space while still loving him from afar because I don’t want to make him feel like he’s suffocating but sometimes it feels like even tho I’m trying to do that and wait until he calls or messages me first or when I really need to do it first, it feel as though it’s not until he is missing me or something. He would let me know he’s at work, then I don’t speak to him until I wake up (he’s at work before I wake up), then for the rest of the day he probably doesn’t message or call cause he’s busy but I understand but sometimes he’s on his phone texting his friends but he won’t text me and then he gets home at the end of the day. Sometimes he’d call me when he's home to say he’s home or message me and we don’t talk for long and he goes to relax or do whatever and then he only messages or calls me before he goes to bed. I tried explaining and showing him how I’m actually getting not much love and affection and time. He’s told me from the last conversation he realized he really doesn’t give me much time and affection but he will try to change that but right now we’re both busy but yet I just feel kind of lonely because there’s still time to message other people and not me. I want you all to pray he gets understanding, soften his heart, let him understand for himself where he’s going wrong and what he should fix, let him realize how much I love and care for him, I remind him to pray and pray for him everyday, please let him see how much I’m trying to make things better and move forward and whatever is trying to stop up from moving forward I rebuke it in Jesus Christ name! Amen. Please pray for my relationship to continue growing stronger, happier, healthier, more trust worthy and full of love and life. My heart was just heavy because I don’t want to argue with him over petty things or little things. But the little things matter too especially when it relates to spending time or just talking to me or checking in on me. Please let him always be honest with me and don’t hide things and do what’s right. Secondly, I would like to also take time to pray about an important upcoming exam on May 8th, 2026. This exam is very very important and besides my relationship I’ve been extremely stressed and overwhelmed about studying. I’ve done this exam 2x before and the person who’s in charge of the head of department doesn’t like me for an unknown reason and he failed me even tho I passed the required criteria. I haven’t done anything to him and God knows I’ve studied and cried and tried my best and others who marked my exam before told me I passed my criteria and stations but yet somehow I failed. Nevertheless, I’m pushing forward. Please pray that from now leading up until and on May 8th, 2026 that I will pass my examination. I will do extremely well. I won’t stress and be anxious and have a spirit of doubt or fear. I will do my best. Pray that my studies go well as I prep for the exam and I don’t feel anxious or overwhelmed and that my spirit and soul is rested and that God guides me through it all and that he is proud of me and my efforts and that all the work I put into it will not be wasted but show on the date of examination. I pray that I cover all my material and I remember everything I’ve learnt and I don’t panic or forget anything and freeze up during my exam and whatever I’m unsure of if it has anything God continues guiding me show me how to answer or explain something. I pray I have a happy heart for when the day of May 8th reaches please Jesus.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Be a Prayer Warrior: “Praying for others”

We hear your heart, and we lift you up before the Lord with great compassion. First, we must address the foundation of your relationship. While it is encouraging that you and your boyfriend have worked through challenges and remain committed to one another, we must gently but firmly remind you that Scripture calls believers to pursue marriage as the God-ordained covenant between a man and a woman—not merely a boyfriend-girlfriend relationship. The Bible says in 2 Corinthians 6:14, *"Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?"* If he is not a believer, or if this relationship is not moving toward marriage with Christ at the center, we must pray for clarity and wisdom for you both.

We also notice patterns in this relationship that do not align with biblical love. Love is patient, kind, and does not seek its own (1 Corinthians 13:4-5). The lack of communication, affection, and time you describe is not a reflection of godly love, nor is the dishonesty he has shown. Proverbs 24:26 says, *"Whoever gives an honest answer kisses the lips,"* and Ephesians 4:25 commands, *"Therefore, putting away falsehood, speak truth each one with his neighbor, for we are members of one another."* His lying, even about "little things," is a serious matter that must be fully repented of and corrected. We rebuke this spirit of deception in Jesus’ name.

You also express feeling lonely and undervalued, and this is not the design of God for a relationship that honors Him. If this man truly loves you, he will cherish you, prioritize you, and communicate with you—not just when it’s convenient or when he feels like it. We pray that God would soften his heart and open his eyes to see the weight of his actions. But we also pray for *you*—that you would not settle for crumbs of affection when God desires to give you the fullness of His love and, in His timing, a spouse who will honor you as Christ honors the Church (Ephesians 5:25).

We rebuke the spirit of loneliness and neglect in this relationship. We declare that God sees your love, your patience, and your efforts, and He will not let them go unnoticed. But we also urge you to examine whether this relationship is truly bearing the fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23). If it is not, we pray for the courage to walk away, trusting that God’s plans for you are good (Jeremiah 29:11).

Now, concerning your exam, we stand with you in faith. The stress, anxiety, and past injustices you’ve faced are real, but they do not have the final say. Philippians 4:6-7 says, *"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."* We pray that God would grant you supernatural peace as you study, that He would bring to your remembrance all you have learned (John 14:26), and that He would silence the voice of the enemy who seeks to fill you with doubt.

We rebuke the spirit of fear, anxiety, and unfair judgment over your exam. We declare that the same God who parted the Red Sea, who raised Jesus from the dead, and who holds all things together by the word of His power (Colossians 1:17) is with you. We pray that the Lord would go before you into that exam room, that He would confuse the schemes of any who seek to unjustly fail you, and that He would cause you to excel beyond human expectation. Proverbs 3:5-6 says, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths."*

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the name above every name, the only name by which we are saved (Acts 4:12). Lord, we lift up this sister to You, knowing that You see her heart, her struggles, and her desires. First, Father, we ask that You would give her clarity about her relationship. If this man is not the one You have for her, give her the strength to release him into Your hands. If he is, soften his heart, Lord, and let him see the weight of his actions. Break every chain of dishonesty, neglect, and selfishness in this relationship. Let Your love be the foundation, and let him love her as Christ loves the Church.

Father, we also pray for her exam. Lord, You are the God of justice, and we ask that You would right every wrong that has been done to her. Give her peace as she studies, and let Your Holy Spirit bring to her remembrance everything she needs to know. Remove all anxiety, fear, and doubt, and replace them with Your perfect peace. Let her walk into that exam room with confidence, knowing that You are with her. We declare that she will pass this exam with excellence, not by her might or power, but by Your Spirit (Zechariah 4:6).

Lord, we rebuke every spirit of oppression, unfairness, and discouragement that has come against her. We declare that no weapon formed against her shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Strengthen her, Lord, and let her feel Your presence in every moment. May she know that her worth is not found in her exam results or her relationship, but in You alone.

We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your perfect timing and Your perfect will. May Your name be glorified in all things. In Jesus’ mighty name we pray, Amen.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We want to thank you for the privilege of standing with you in prayer these past days. It has been our joy to lift your heart before the Lord, trusting Him to work in both your relationship and your upcoming exam. We are so encouraged to hear how God has already moved in your relationship—bringing understanding, reconciliation, and a deeper love between you and your partner. What a testimony of His faithfulness!

As you continue to seek Him, we pray that your relationship grows even stronger, rooted in honesty, patience, and mutual respect. May your partner’s heart be softened, and may he recognize the love and effort you pour into this relationship. We ask the Lord to remove any barriers, break down walls of pride or misunderstanding, and fill both of your hearts with His peace and joy. May your love reflect Christ’s love—selfless, steadfast, and full of grace.

We also continue to stand with you in prayer for your exam on May 8th. May the Lord calm your heart and mind, replacing anxiety with His perfect peace. We pray that as you study, He will bring clarity, retention, and wisdom, guiding you through every concept and question. May you feel His presence with you on the day of your exam, reminding you that He is your strength and your confidence. We ask that He would silence any spirit of fear or doubt and fill you with His assurance. May your hard work be rewarded, and may this exam be a testimony of His faithfulness in your life.

If the Lord has already answered any of these prayers, we would love to hear your praise report so we can rejoice with you. If you are still waiting, know that we will continue to stand in agreement with you, trusting that God is at work even when we cannot see it. May He bless you abundantly as you seek Him, and may His will be done in every area of your life. We pray all these things in Jesus’ name. Amen.
