Prayers for reconciliation

Heavenly Father, in the name of Your Son Lord Jesus Christ, I enter Your gates with thanksgiving and Your courts with praise; give thanks to You and praise Your name. Yet, Lord my God, give attention to your servant’s prayer and his plea for mercy. Hear the cry and the prayer that your servant is praying in your presence. Your Word promises, “The God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet. The grace of our Lord Jesus be with you.” I lift my wife to be up to the Throne of Grace, asking for deliverance from the torment of the oppression and trauma that has harassed her, and our relationship for over a year now, “Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him.” ‭‭James‬ ‭1‬:‭12‬ ‭NIV‬‬ “I will refresh the weary and satisfy the faint.” Jeremiah‬ ‭31‬:‭25‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Lord Jesus please, have mercy on us, deliver her from the enemy’s grip, “In your anger do not sin”: Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry, and do not give the devil a foothold. Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen. And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, with whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice. Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.” “Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity.”‭‭ Colossians‬ ‭3‬:‭12‬-‭14‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Lord Jesus Christ, we bring her under Your blood, we bring our life together, our relationship and all this trauma from both our past present and future under Your blood, and we stand against the schemes and the work of the accuser. Thank You Lord, in Jesus’ mighty name, for Your mercy, thank You for hearing my cry for your help to deliver her from the witchcraft that has surrounded her from her family. I speak it out in faith, thank You for returning to her You, for breaking her mothers control over her, and the influence from her mother, grandfather and grandmother here locally, and the therapist she’s seeing, for Your word warns us “Who you surround yourself with shapes who you become.” Proverbs 13:20 Lord, you gave her the spiritual discernment to stay away from these people, and only after the enemy had a chance to enter through trauma was she forced back into their hands. We ask You Jesus, return her autonomy, and open her eyes so she may see, open her ears so she may hear, and remove the callousness from her heart so she may understand with it the detriment their influence has had on her. You are the Wonderful Counselor, Lord Jesus I invite You into this mess to do what You, and only You can do, and touch, heal, restore and rebuild what the enemy sought to destroy “For God is not a God of disorder but of peace—as in all the congregations of the Lord’s people.” Lord Jesus Christ I ask you to show her how the enemy has come only to steal, kill and destroy, but how You Lord came that we may have life, and have it abundantly together.

Thank You Lord, in Jesus’ mighty name, for Your mercy, thank You for hearing my cry for your help to deliver her from the witchcraft that has surrounded her from her family. I speak it out in faith, thank You for returning to her You, for breaking her mothers control over her, and the influence from her mother, grandfather and grandmother here locally, and the therapist she’s seeing. Lord, you gave her the spiritual discernment to stay away from these people, and only after the enemy had a chance to enter through trauma was she forced back into their hands. We ask You Jesus, return her autonomy, and open her eyes so she may see, open her ears so she may hear, and remove the callousness from her heart so she may understand with it the detriment their influence has had on her.

You know Your daughter, Lord, you have not given her a spirit of fear, but of power, love and a sound mind. The version of herself she has been influenced by her mother and the evil around her is not the woman you made, she isn’t bitter, judgmental, cold and hateful, she was vulnerable and susceptible to the manipulation of those she steered clear of who sought to control her life, for Your word warns us “Who you surround yourself with shapes who you become.” Proverbs 13:20 In the name of Jesus Christ, I rebuke all forms of their witchcraft, and break satan’s power over her, and Lord over them as well. “This is what the Lord says: “Restrain your voice from weeping and your eyes from tears, for your work will be rewarded,” declares the Lord. “They will return from the land of the enemy.” Jeremiah‬ ‭31‬:‭16‬ ‭NIV‬‬ I pray to You Lord not only for my beloved, but for their deliverance, and their salvation, and to completely free them from grip of the evil one. To bring them all into a true place of repentance, and in turn to set those captives free from the oppression that had taken root in their lives. I ask You Lord Jesus to bless them, heal them, and deliver them. “Therefore he is able to save completely those who come to God through Him, because He always lives to intercede for them.” ‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭7‬:‭25‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Thank You Lord for expelling every evil spirit away from her, and our relationship. For revealing every lie, miscommunication, and deception satan has attempted (and I declare failed) to use to divide us with. “Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” John‬ ‭8‬:‭32‬ ‭NIV‬
“But now you must also rid yourselves of all such things as these: anger, rage, malice, slander, and filthy language from your lips. Do not lie to each other, since you have taken off your old self with its practices and have put on the new self, which is being renewed in knowledge in the image of its Creator.” Colossians‬ ‭3‬:‭8‬-‭10‬ ‭NIV‬‬

And Lord, I praise you, and thank you from the bottom of my heart for the miracle of her good grandmother, without any other word but glory to
You Lord Jesus, adding me on social media so that we can finally meet and speak to one another. Lord I ask You to please show me how to approach this relationship, to bless it, and build this relationship. She is the only other person who can see what’s happening, so Lord Jesus Christ, thank You, I praise You. Please show me how to break the ice, and bless our communication together, and flourish our friendship, and alliance to stand against the devil’s schemes attacking her granddaughter, my wife to be. “If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.”
‭‭James‬ ‭1‬:‭5‬ ‭NIV‬‬ thank You Lord, for hearing my prayers and petitions and for everything that You’ve done, everything that You’re doing, and everything that you will do, in Jesus mighty name amen.

We stand with you in fervent prayer, lifting up your marriage and your wife before the throne of grace. The pain and struggle you both endure is not unseen by our Heavenly Father, who promises in His Word, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit" (Psalm 34:18 WEB). We declare that the enemy’s schemes to divide and destroy your union will not prevail, for "no weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that accuses you in judgment. This is the heritage of the Lord’s servants, and their righteousness is from me," says the Lord (Isaiah 54:17 WEB).

The trauma and oppression your wife has faced, rooted in generational strongholds and the influence of those who do not walk in godly wisdom, must be broken in the mighty name of Jesus. We rebuke every spirit of witchcraft, control, and manipulation that has sought to bind her mind and heart. The Word of God is clear: "For though we walk in the flesh, we don’t wage war according to the flesh; for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds, throwing down imaginations and every high thing that is exalted against the knowledge of God, and bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ" (2 Corinthians 10:3-5 WEB). We declare these strongholds shattered, and we command every evil influence to flee in Jesus’ name.

Your wife was fearfully and wonderfully made to reflect the image of Christ, not the bitterness or coldness that the enemy has tried to impose upon her. We pray that the Holy Spirit would soften her heart, remove every callous, and restore her to the woman God created her to be, full of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7 WEB). We ask the Lord to open her eyes to the truth of His Word and to the deception that has clouded her judgment. "And you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free" (John 8:32 WEB). Let her see the enemy’s tactics for what they are: lies designed to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10 WEB).

We also lift up the influences in her life, her mother, grandfather, grandmother, and even the therapist she has been seeing. While we do not judge their hearts, we recognize that Proverbs 13:20 warns, "He who walks with wise men grows wise, but a companion of fools suffers harm" (WEB). We pray for their salvation and deliverance, that they too would come to know the freedom and healing found only in Christ. "The Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness; but is patient with us, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance" (2 Peter 3:9 WEB). May they turn from any ungodly practices and be set free from the grip of the evil one.

For your marriage, we pray for restoration, unity, and a renewed commitment to one another in Christ. The enemy has sown division, miscommunication, and strife, but God’s Word commands us to "let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you" (Ephesians 4:31-32 WEB). We declare that every lie, every deception, and every attempt to drive a wedge between you is exposed and nullified. May your communication be filled with grace, truth, and love, and may your marriage reflect the covenant relationship between Christ and His Church (Ephesians 5:22-33 WEB).

We rejoice with you over the connection with your wife’s grandmother, who has reached out to you. This is no coincidence, it is the hand of God orchestrating divine appointments. We pray for wisdom as you navigate this relationship, that it would be built on a foundation of truth, prayer, and mutual respect. "If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him" (James 1:5 WEB). May this alliance be a source of strength and encouragement as you both stand against the enemy’s attacks on your wife and your marriage.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this marriage and this precious daughter of Yours. Lord, we ask You to break every chain of oppression, trauma, and generational sin that has sought to destroy this union. We rebuke every spirit of witchcraft, control, and deception, and we command it to flee in the name of Jesus. Restore Your daughter to the fullness of who You created her to be, free, whole, and filled with Your Spirit.

Father, we pray for her family, her mother, grandfather, and grandmother, that their eyes would be opened to the truth of Your Word and that they would turn from any ungodly influences. Soften their hearts to receive Your salvation and deliverance. We also pray for the therapist she has been seeing, that they would come to know You and operate in wisdom and discernment that aligns with Your truth.

Lord, we ask You to heal the wounds in this marriage, to restore trust, and to renew their love for one another. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7 WEB). Teach them to communicate with grace, to forgive as You have forgiven them, and to walk in unity as heirs of Your kingdom.

We thank You for the divine connection with her grandmother, and we ask for Your wisdom to guide this relationship. May it be a source of blessing, encouragement, and strength as they stand together against the enemy’s schemes.

Father, we declare that this marriage will not be destroyed. We stand on Your promise that "what God has joined together, let no man separate" (Mark 10:9 WEB). We thank You for the victory that is already won in Jesus’ name, and we trust You to complete the good work You have begun in them (Philippians 1:6 WEB).

In the precious and powerful name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We hear how deeply you love this woman and how urgently you long to see her set free from the confusing and painful influences that have surrounded her. The weight of watching someone you care about seem pulled back into patterns and relationships she once had the discernment to avoid, that is a genuinely hard place to stand. We are sitting with you in that ache right now.

Trauma and manipulation have a way of reshaping how a person thinks and feels, sometimes making them doubt their own earlier clarity. The grip you are describing may not be only spiritual; it is often woven into the emotional and psychological wounds that make people vulnerable in the first place. This does not mean the enemy is not at work, it means the battle is being fought on multiple fronts at once. And those fronts require patience, prayer, and often the steady presence of people who simply refuse to give up on her.

One concrete step you named is the new connection with her grandmother. That is a tender mercy worth handling with care. Rather than rushing in with strategy, we would encourage you to let the relationship with her grandmother grow slowly and naturally. Ask the Lord to guide your words in ordinary conversation. Show genuine interest in her life and her perspective, without immediately making it about the crisis. Trust can be built in small, unhurried exchanges, and over time that foundation may become a significant source of support and clarity for the woman you love.

Above all, keep entrusting her into the hands of the One who sees what you cannot see and who loves her more than you ever could. He is not distant from her suffering or from your pleas.

Lord Jesus, we lift this woman to You now. You know exactly where she is and what voices are speaking into her life. Quiet the noise around her and gently call her heart back to the truth. Protect her from every influence that seeks to control or harm her. Grant this man wisdom and patience, keep him steady, keep him kind, and guide his words and timing, especially with her grandmother. We ask for light to break through confusion and for genuine freedom that only You can bring. In Your name we pray, amen.

How often the saints cry out for deliverance from the pit, feeling the oppression of the enemy heavy upon them, yet forgetting that the ransom has already been found by the hand of Jehovah alone! You plead for the breaking of witchcraft’s power and the silencing of the accuser, and rightly so, for we wrestle not against flesh and blood. But let me remind you that the great deliverance from the power of darkness has already been won by Christ Jesus. The enemy may roar, but he is a chained lion; his schemes are thwarted by the blood of the Lamb. When Israel came forth from Egypt, there was not one feeble person among their tribes; they were brought out with silver and gold, and the Lord gave them favour in the eyes of their oppressors. Even so, our Redeemer is mighty to save to the uttermost, and no evil influence can stand against His sovereign decree.

You speak of a wife to be, and you bring this burden of trauma and family bondage before the throne. Be careful, however, that in seeking deliverance for another, you do not neglect the word of reconciliation for yourselves. Are you walking in that holiness without which no man shall see the Lord? If this union be of God, let it be pursued according to His pattern, marriage a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, undefiled by the world’s corruption. Let there be no unwholesome talk, no foothold for the devil through impatience or passion. Wait upon the Lord in purity, for He maketh all things beautiful in His time. The very leaves of the Tree of Life are for healing, but the fruit is for those who abide in Him and keep His commandments.

I would have you lift up your eyes from the immediate fray and behold the Sun of Righteousness arising with healing in His wings. Your beloved is not beyond the reach of that healing. The Lord who delivered Jacob from the hand of Esau, though Jacob crossed the brook in fear and trembling, can turn the heart of the most hostile kin. He can open blind eyes and unstop deaf ears, for He is the Wonderful Counsellor. But remember, deliverance from oppression often comes through the bruising of the flesh and the keen edge of trial. The clock of mercy strikes at the hour appointed, not a moment sooner than the eternal purpose has decreed. Therefore, let patience have her perfect work.

I charge you, plead the blood of Jesus over every evil work, but do not let your prayers become a charm or a formula. The power lies not in the multitude of words, but in the name of Jesus apprehended by faith. Stand firm, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness. As for the grandmother who has reached out, thank God for every ally, but test every spirit. Seek wisdom from above, which is first pure, then peaceable. If she be a vessel for good, the Lord will guide your speech and knit your hearts together in the unity of the faith. But do not make an idol of any human helper; your reliance must be upon the living God alone.

Now, as for the conduct after affliction and deliverance, you must live and declare the works of the Lord. If He brings you through this fiery trial, let your mouth be filled with testimony, and your life bear the marks of one who has tasted that the Lord is gracious. Do not return to the weak and beggarly elements of bitterness or wrath. Forgive, even as you have been forgiven, and keep a watch over your own spirit, lest you grieve the Holy Spirit of God. The way of reconciliation between man and God is through the cross; let that same cross slay all your pride and self-will.

Be of good courage, and wait upon the Lord. He hath not given you a spirit of fear, but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. The least thing about Christ is healing; touch but the hem of His garment, and virtue will flow forth. Continue in prayer, but let your petitions be seasoned with submission. Say, “Not my will, but Thine be done.” The Lord will arise for His own glory, and you shall yet see that the God of peace will bruise Satan under your feet shortly.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You pour out many words and Scripture, which is good, but take heed lest you think the mere recitation of verses will summon God's power like a charm. The Lord looks for a heart that is not only fervent in prayer but steady in virtue. It is not enough to ask for deliverance from witchcraft and trauma while perhaps neglecting the careful hearing of God's word and the uprooting of all softness from your own soul. For what if you are free from one visible enemy, yet are unmanly and easily shaken? What if you are attentive now, but become remiss tomorrow? No single part suffices for salvation; there must be a continual recollection of Christ's commands, a fortitude that endures trials without bitterness, and a deliberate detachment from all worldly entanglements.

Do not fix your gaze so entirely on her deliverance that you overlook your own need for healing. The enemy indeed prowls, but he finds a foothold where anger, resentment, or a judging spirit have made a home. You speak of her mother's control and the therapist's influence, yet examine whether any root of bitterness has sprung up in you. The Apostle urges us to put off anger, rage, malice, and slander, and to forgive as we have been forgiven. The reconciliation you long for cannot be built on a foundation of blame. Even now, while you wait, practice kindness and compassion toward her in your heart; do not let the sun go down on your wrath, even if she seems far from you.

Remember the good tidings you have heard: God on earth, man in heaven, the curse blotted out, paradise opened, the devil put to shame. This reconciliation between God and our nature was accomplished not by a loud assault on demons but by the willing sacrifice of Christ, who took hold of the seed of Abraham to make propitiation for the sins of the people. He is able to save completely all who come to God through Him. Trust in that finished work, and let your prayers flow from a quiet confidence rather than an anxious striving. The enemy is already defeated; what remains is for souls to lay hold of that victory by repentance and a living faith.

Do not despair if you see no immediate change, either in her or in the grandmother. The word of God often works like the repeated strokes of an axe upon a tree; many hear and seem insensible, yet later, at a single blow, the whole hardness falls. The tree does not feel the earlier strokes, but they are not wasted. So continue in prayer, in the reading of Scripture, in the fellowship of the church, and in deeds of mercy. Perhaps the very delay is God's kindness, perfecting patience in you and preparing her heart to receive truth.

As for the good grandmother whom you see as an ally, approach her with humility, not as a fellow general against flesh and blood. Ask God for the wisdom He gives generously to build a relationship that is peaceable and full of grace, not one that merely reinforces your suspicions. Speak truth, but let it be seasoned with love, remembering that the aim is not to expose the faults of others but to win souls for Christ.

Above all, do not postpone reconciliation with God in your own soul while you wait for restoration with her. Every hour you delay in rooting out a sinful habit, every day you nurse a grievance, you give place to the enemy. Walk worthy of the calling you have received, and let the peace of Christ rule in your heart now. The crown of life is promised to those who persevere under trial, having stood the test. Stand firm, then, not in fierce declarations of spiritual warfare, but in the meekness and gentleness of Christ, who is our peace.

Your prayer rises with a raw honesty that the Lord honors. You have laid out the warfare, the wounds, and your desperate hope, and every word you have spoken before the throne is heard. What strikes me is how you are not asking for mere relief but for a complete unveiling, the exposure of every lie, the breaking of every chain, the restoration of a woman you love as God intended her to be. That is exactly the kind of faith that reaches heaven.

The Scriptures give us a beautiful promise that the enemy’s work thrives in darkness, but the Lord Jesus is the One who lifts the veil. The opening of all truth belongs to Him. When everything feels tangled and hidden, when trauma has clouded her eyes, muted her ears, and hardened her heart, remember that the same Lord who revealed Himself to John on Patmos is the Lord who can open what no man can shut. He sees every thread of manipulation and every ancestral snare, and He knows how to set her free. Do not let the long battle wear down your confidence. God’s completeness, His sevenfold Spirit, stands ready to fill every fractured place. That means you are not leaning on your own eloquence or persistence; you are leaning on a full and perfect provision.

In the quiet of your own heart, though, hear this gentle but serious warning. The letters to the churches in Revelation make it plain that works and even sound doctrine can never replace a vibrant, affectionate love for Jesus. There is a kind of spiritual warfare that consumes us with the crisis while our own first love grows cold. You are fighting for her deliverance, but guard yourself against slipping into a merely legal relationship with the Lord, praying because you need a breakthrough, rather than because you simply love Him. When we drift from that tender, devoted heart, we lose our anchor. Repentance for any cooled affection is what opens the door to escape the great trials pressing in. If you sense even a flicker of distance, run back to that first love. Jesus wants your full, right-on relationship, not a lukewarm one. A heart that burns for Him alone is positioned to see the enemy crushed under your feet.

This also means trusting His timing and His way of redemption. He is the true Kinsman who buys back what was lost. He alone can restore her autonomy without sparking new strife. I hear your prayer for her grandmother’s alliance and your request for wisdom. That open door may well be part of Heaven’s plan. Walk into it with gentleness and patience, not as a commander but as a co-laborer with Christ. The Spirit will teach you how to break the ice and build a friendship that stands against deception. Ask Him daily, and He will give generously.

As you continue to bring her, her family, and your whole future under the blood of Jesus, resist the urge to rehearse every grievance. Instead, clothe yourself in compassion, kindness, humility, and forgiveness, the very garments of God’s chosen ones. When you speak of her, even in private prayer, let your words be for building up according to her need. The Holy Spirit will not share room with bitterness. Keep your heart free, and you will hear His direction far more clearly.

The promise remains: truth will prevail. Lies, miscommunication, and every scheme of the accuser will be exposed and broken. The Lord Jesus does not abandon what He has purchased. Your work will be rewarded; those who return from the land of the enemy will come back singing. Stand firm, worship through the waiting, and let the unveiling of Christ be your true north. He is making all things new.

We are so grateful you entrusted us with this deeply personal and heartfelt prayer for reconciliation, healing, and deliverance for your wife and your marriage. It is a sacred privilege to stand with you in agreement before our Heavenly Father, lifting up the pain, the oppression, and the spiritual warfare you both have endured. We have prayed fervently over every word you shared—pleading for the chains of trauma and witchcraft to be broken, for God’s peace to crush the enemy’s schemes under your feet, and for His truth to dismantle every lie that has sought to divide you.

We continue to declare God’s promises over your wife: that He is returning her autonomy, softening her heart, and restoring the woman He created her to be—a woman of power, love, and a sound mind, not one shaped by fear or manipulation. We have interceded for the deliverance of her family, that the Lord would bring them to repentance and set them free from the grip of evil. And we have asked the Holy Spirit to guide your steps, especially as you navigate this new connection with her grandmother, that it would become a source of strength and unity in standing against the enemy’s attacks.

If the Lord has moved in answer to these prayers—if there has been even the smallest breakthrough, a moment of clarity, or a shift in the atmosphere—we would be overjoyed to hear your praise report. Let us rejoice with you and give God all the glory! But if the battle still rages and the answers seem distant, do not lose heart. We invite you to post this request again, and we will continue to stand with you in prayer, believing that our God is faithful to complete the good work He has begun.

May the Lord bless you and your wife with His presence, His peace, and His power as you press into Him. May He strengthen your marriage, heal your wounds, and silence every voice of the enemy with His truth. And may His grace sustain you as you wait on Him, trusting that He who began this work will bring it to completion in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.
