Heavenly Father,

We come before You lifting up this relationship, asking that every step we take aligns completely with Your divine plan. Lord, we surrender our hearts and our future into Your hands, trusting that You make all things beautiful in Your time.

Father, we pray for ###. We ask that You speak to his mind and heart, granting him clarity and helping him figure things out with Your wisdom. We pray that You stir within him a deep, genuine love, a spirit of care, and the heart of a provider. Soften his heart, Lord, and help him to fully let go of the past—releasing his former marriage so that he can find true peace and joy in the new love we share.

We lift up the legal and practical steps of our future together. Please guide ### as he considers applying for a fiancée visa, clearing any obstacles and opening the right doors so that I can eventually join him in the United States.

Lord, we also pray for the bond between ### and my sons. Open his heart wide to love them, and draw them close to one another so that, in Your timing, we can build a united, happy home together in the US. We pray that You inspire ### to commit fully, to love me as his wife, and to propose.

Order our steps, Lord. Direct our paths, heal every wound, and let Your grace bind us together in a love that honors You above all else.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We join with you in lifting this relationship before the Lord and we thank you for desiring that every step align completely with His divine plan, that is a beautiful and right desire. We hear your heart for this man, for your sons, and for a future united home that honors God, and we want to stand with you in prayer while also sharing some biblical encouragement.

We love your surrender of your hearts and future into God's hands, for we know that He makes all things beautiful in His time and His plans are for good. As it is written, Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6 and For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11. We also rejoice that you prayed in Jesus' name, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father, and there is salvation in no other. As Scripture says, Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6.

We want to gently speak to the area of his former marriage. We believe in the sanctity of marriage as a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman as God designed, and Scripture teaches What therefore God has joined together, don’t let man tear apart. Matthew 19:6. God takes the covenant of marriage very seriously, and we also read that Yahweh hates divorce. Malachi 2:16. If his former marriage ended biblically, we pray for deep healing and for him to truly be released from that wound so he can love well again. He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds. Psalm 147:3. If there are still unresolved matters from that marriage, whether bitterness, unforgiveness, or obligations before God, we encourage you both to seek godly counsel and to pursue full forgiveness and cleansing, Be kind to one another, tender hearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you. Ephesians 4:32. We pray he will seek the Lord's wisdom first above all else, that any love that grows would be rooted in Christ and not simply in emotion or loneliness.

We also want to encourage you both as you walk through this courtship. We view being boyfriend and girlfriend as courtship with the goal of marriage to another Christian believer, not simply a partnership. We encourage you to ensure you are equally yoked in faith, for Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. 2 Corinthians 6:14. We pray you are both born again believers seeking to honor Christ. And if you are pursuing marriage, we strongly endorse that holy covenant and we encourage you to keep your relationship pure and honoring to God until that day. Marriage must be held in honor among all, and its bed undefiled. Hebrews 13:4 and Flee sexual immorality. 1 Corinthians 6:18. Keeping yourselves pure now will build trust and a foundation that glorifies God later.

We understand the longing for him to grow as a loving, caring provider who will love you as his wife and love your sons as his own. That is God's design for a husband, Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it. Ephesians 5:25. We pray he will embrace that sacrificial, leading and providing love, and that your sons will be drawn into a godly, united home. We also lift up the practical steps of a fiancee visa and the distance between you. We pray for open doors only if this is God's perfect will, and for closed doors if it is not, trusting that He will order your steps. We know that all things work together for good for those who love God. Romans 8:28.

So we pray together now.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this sister, this brother, and her sons. Lord, we ask for Your perfect will to be done in this relationship. Grant this man clarity of mind and heart, speak to him with Your wisdom, and heal any wounds that remain from his former marriage. Help him to forgive, to be forgiven, and to walk in wholeness and peace. Soften his heart, Lord, and stir within him a deep, genuine, Christlike love, a spirit of care, and the strength to lead and provide as You call a husband to do. Father, guide every legal and practical step regarding the fiancee visa, make the path clear, remove obstacles that should be removed, and close any door that is not of You. We pray for the bond between him and her sons, that You would knit their hearts together in love and respect, preparing them for a united, joyful, Christ centered home if it is Your will for them to marry. Lord, lead this brother to commit fully if You have ordained this marriage, to love her as his wife and to propose in Your timing, not in pressure but in godly conviction. Teach them both to wait on You, to remain pure, to seek counsel, and to honor You above all else. Let Your grace bind them together and let Your peace guard their hearts. In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.

We encourage you to continue to delight yourself in the Lord, to pray together and separately, to seek pastoral counsel, and to let God confirm His will through His Word, through peace, and through wise counsel. Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Psalm 37:4. We are trusting with you that He will direct your paths and make His will unmistakably clear.

We've read your prayer and hear how much you desire clarity, peace and a stable home for you and your sons. Wanting to be loved well, to know where you stand, and to see your children cared for are good and understandable longings, and we are holding them with you before the Lord.

Blending lives when there has been a previous marriage and children involved is tender ground. Past hurts and loyalties don't disappear quickly, and even with goodwill it takes time, honesty and patient conversation to understand what each person is carrying and what a shared future would truly require of everyone, especially your sons.

As you wait and discern next steps, it could help to walk with a trusted pastor or Christian counselor together, not just about the visa paperwork but about expectations, healing from what came before, and what commitment and parenting would look like day to day. Having a steady, outside voice can bring clarity when emotions run strong.

Father, we bring this sister and her sons before You, and we bring this man before You as well. Give each of them wisdom, honesty and peace as they seek Your will. Heal old wounds, guard the hearts of these children, and lead each step according to Your goodness. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your prayer has been received with care and with a sincere desire to bring it before the Lord according to His Word. We hear in your words a longing that every step should align completely with His divine plan, and that is the only safe ground upon which to stand. For God indeed makes all things beautiful in His time, but His time is always ordered by His holiness.

We would gently and faithfully remind you that marriage in the sight of God is not a light affinity. It is a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, cemented by mutual love wherein the two become one, and it is to be entered with solemn choice on both sides before Him. It is not a relationship of mere feeling or convenience, and it cannot be rightly entered while the wounds or bonds of a former marriage remain unresolved before God. Scripture teaches us that what God has joined together is not to be lightly put asunder, and where a former marriage has been broken there is need for honest searching of heart, for repentance where there has been sin, for healing, and for godly counsel, rather than a hastening to find peace and joy in a new love. True peace is found first in being reconciled to God through Jesus Christ alone, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved, and no new relationship can give what only Christ can give.

So we cannot simply ask God to bless this relationship as it is, but we can and do pray that He will work in both hearts to make you holy and to make His will plain. We pray that the Lord will draw each of you to a deeper trust in Christ, that you would worship Him in spirit and in truth and seek first His Kingdom. We pray that He would grant clarity and wisdom, not merely to figure things out according to desire, but to see all things in the light of His Word and to do what honors Him above all else.

If you are not yet married, we exhort you in love to honor God with your bodies and with your dwelling. Sex and living together belong within marriage alone, and a love that honors God will not seek to anticipate the covenant but will wait upon the Lord in purity. Order your steps by seeking the counsel of faithful pastors and a local church who know you, who can help you examine whether this union would be according to Scripture, whether there has been proper healing from the past, and whether there is a mature, sacrificial readiness to provide, to protect, and to love as Christ loves His Church.

We also lift before the Lord your sons. A united and happy home is a blessed thing, and a godly home is hedged about with prayer. We pray that whatever man would seek to be a father to them would do so with steadfast, selfless care and with a commitment that is proven over time, not only in words but in godly character and responsibility.

Let us pray together in this way. Father in heaven, we ask that You would have Your perfect will in these lives. Bring each one to a saving and settled faith in Jesus Christ. Grant repentance where it is needed, forgiveness through His blood, and healing from every wound of the past. Give wisdom to discern Your path, grace to walk in purity, and patience to wait upon Your ordering. If it be according to Your Word and for Your glory that these two should be joined in holy marriage, make that plain by the counsel of Your Word and Your people, and establish them in a covenant that reflects Christ and His Church. If not, give grace to surrender all to Your better purpose. Direct every practical step, close every door that should be closed, and open only what is consistent with righteousness. Let Your grace bind each heart first to Christ, that whatever future You ordain may truly honor You. In the name of Jesus our only hope, Amen.

We encourage you to continue in prayer, in the Scriptures, and under the care of a faithful local church, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We have heard your prayer and we bring it before the Lord with care and with honesty about what Scripture teaches.

God has ordained marriage as a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, a bond that is honorable and to be kept with faithfulness. Scripture teaches that holiness in this area means chaste and orderly living, whether in singleness through purity or in marriage through faithfulness to one's own spouse, not permitting union outside that covenant. Marriage itself preserves holiness by guarding what God has given through faith from defilement. For this reason we cannot ask God to bless or to advance any relationship that would violate that covenant, but we do ask Him to bring healing and clarity where there has been wounding and confusion.

Your request speaks of a former marriage that has not yet been fully released, of a new love, and of hopes for a proposal and a future home together in the United States with your sons. Before any steps toward a new marriage, the first need is truth and peace before God concerning what is past. If a marriage bond still stands before God, Scripture calls for faithfulness to that bond, and where there has been breaking and divorce, for honest repentance, for seeking reconciliation where possible, and for careful counsel about what God permits. We pray that the Lord will grant both of you a willingness to obey His physician's rule, even when it is difficult, for that obedience is the path to true sight and healing.

We also hear your desire for love, provision, and a united home. These good desires find their right place only within a marriage that honors God. Until such a covenant is rightly entered, we encourage you both to live in purity, not in sexual union or in living together as husband and wife, and to pursue peace with all people and holiness without which no one will see the Lord. The Christian life, whether in marriage or in singleness, is not made holy merely by the state itself, but by faithful use of that state for service to God, for prayer, for good works, and for care of those entrusted to you.

Therefore we pray in this way, trusting salvation through Jesus Christ alone:

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, we lift up this sister, her sons, and this man. Grant them repentance where repentance is needed and faith in Christ for forgiveness and new life. Give them clarity of mind and softness of heart to hear Your Word and to do it. If there remains a lawful marriage bond, give courage to honor it as You have ordained. If there has been lawful release from that bond, give wisdom to walk in purity and patience, not rushing ahead of Your timing. Keep them from fornication and from every appearance of compromise, and help them to use this season for prayer and for diligent care for their families and for others in need. Heal every wound from the past, and let Your grace teach them to seek first Your kingdom.

We pray for the children, that they would be guarded in love, taught in truth, and not drawn into confusion, but led to know Christ and to find security in a home ordered by Your peace. We pray for practical and legal matters, that every step would be taken with complete honesty and integrity, and that doors would open only as they accord with Your righteous will. Above all, order their steps according to Your Word, direct their paths toward holiness, and bind them not merely to one another but to Yourself, that whatever future You give would honor You.

We ask for Your mercy to correct as well as to comfort, for admonition that heals more than condemnation that wounds. Make all things beautiful in Your time as they submit to Your time and Your way.

In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

Thank you for opening your heart and sharing this burden so honestly. The Lord sees you completely, nothing is hidden from Him, and He looks upon you with compassion and with full understanding of your weaknesses and needs.

The most important prayer is for the vertical relationship, your own standing before God, before any horizontal relationship can be healthy. Salvation is not just believing facts about Jesus, it is believing into a vital, life changing relationship with Him, so that whoever trusts into Him will not perish but have everlasting life. When that relationship with God is made right through Jesus Christ alone, then relationships with other people can be brought into balance. Without that, even our closest human bonds become confused and painful. Many times we pray only about the symptoms, about circumstances and feelings, when God wants to deal first with the deeper need of sin, forgiveness, and a wholehearted following of Jesus. To follow Him sometimes means leaving what is familiar behind, as those first disciples left their nets, because He calls for full commitment.

That is why your future must be weighed by Scripture, not only by sincere affection. From the beginning God's divine ideal for marriage is that the two become one, a lifelong covenant between one man and one woman. Jesus pointed back to that ideal. The provision for divorce in the law of Moses was given because of hardness of heart, not because God changed His design. The only ground He spoke of that breaks that union in that way is adultery. Marriage was intended to be a process of completion over a lifetime, working through differences in a commitment that honors God. If there is a broken or past marriage involved, the question before the Lord is not simply how to let go of the past and find happiness in a new love, but how God views that covenant, what was the cause of its breaking, and what now will truly honor Him. God is able to heal wounds and to help those who have a difficult past in marriage, but His healing always leads toward obedience, purity, and doing what will please Him. Sex and living together belong only within that lifelong covenant, not outside it or in preparation for it.

So instead of asking God to simply clear the way for a visa, a proposal, and a home together in this country, the wiser and more loving prayer is to ask Him for clarity according to His Word. Pray that both of you would have a personal, close walk with Jesus, that any sin would be confessed and forgiven, that you would receive wisdom that comes from Him, and that you would be willing to do what honors Him even if it is costly. Pray for healing of every wound from the former marriage, not just forgetting it, but bringing it honestly before God. Pray for your sons as well, that they would be protected and raised in stability and truth, and that any bond formed with this man would be one that is right before God and not built on a foundation that God cannot bless.

I will pray with you in that direction, that the Lord would draw each of you into a deeper, surrendered relationship with Jesus, that He would grant repentance where it is needed and forgiveness through the cross, that He would give you honest counsel from Scripture and from mature believers who can help you examine the past marriage biblically, that He would keep you pure and separate until and unless there is a marriage that is lawful and right in His eyes, and that He would order your steps toward what is holy and beautiful in His time. True peace and joy do not come from securing the relationship we desire, but from belonging fully to Christ and then building every other relationship upon that foundation. May He give you grace to seek His will above all else and to trust Him with the outcome.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer for your relationship.

We have continued to lift up your relationship before the Lord, asking that every step you take would align completely with His divine plan and that you would continue to surrender your hearts and your future into His hands, trusting that He makes all things beautiful in His time as in Ecclesiastes 3:11. We have been praying for the man you love, that the Lord would speak to his mind and heart and grant him clarity and wisdom to figure things out, that He would stir within him a deep and genuine love with a spirit of care and the heart of a provider, and that He would soften his heart to fully release his former marriage and the past so he can find true peace and joy in the new love you share. We have also continued to bring before the Lord the legal and practical steps of your future together, asking Him to guide him as he considers applying for a fiance visa, to clear every obstacle and to open the right doors so that you can be joined together in the United States in His perfect timing. And we have lifted up the bond between him and your sons, praying that God would open his heart to love them deeply and draw them close to one another, so that you may build a united and happy home together that honors Him, and that the Lord would lead him to commit fully and to propose according to His will. We trust Proverbs 3:5 and Jeremiah 29:11 as we pray for you.

If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know so we may rejoice with you. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer.

We continue to ask the Lord to order your steps, direct your paths, heal every wound, and bind you together in grace and in a love that honors Him above all else. May God bless you as you continue to seek Him through His Son, Jesus Christ. We pray this in Jesus name, amen.
