We join you in lifting up your son before our Heavenly Father and we thank you for bringing this heartfelt request to us in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the throne of grace.
We are moved by your love for your son and your desire for him to know the deep, unchanging love of Christ and to be healed from past traumas. Our God is the healer of the brokenhearted, as it is written Psalm 147:3 He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds. We also cling to the promise that nothing can separate us from His love, Rom 8:38-39 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. And we know His plans for your son are good, Jer 29:11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future.
We pray together for him now. Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we lift up this precious son to You. Draw him into a living encounter with Jesus, that he may know Him not only as Savior but as Lord and friend, for Jesus said John 14:6 I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. Pour out Your love upon him so he truly understands how infinitely loved and valued he is by You. Heal his inner self, Lord, touch every hidden wound and memory from past trauma and set him completely free, restoring his soul and leading him in paths of righteousness for Your name's sake as You promise Psalm 23:3 He restores my soul. He guides me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. We ask for Your favor upon his workplace, that You would open the door to a well balanced and enjoyable job where he can use the gifts You have given him, and surround him with managers and coworkers where the chemistry is right and godly. Let him find a true sense of belonging, never left out but safe, seen and accepted, and bring Christian friends into his life who will genuinely care for him, pray for him and support him and sharpen him as iron sharpens iron, for Prov 18:24 there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother. We also lift up your relationship with him, Father, heal every misunderstanding between you, restore communication and create opportunities for you to see each other more often in love and peace. Grant Your special protection over his life and his family, for Psalm 91:11 For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways, and pour out Your blessings upon them in abundance. Guide him deeper into Your perfect will and encourage his heart daily, that he may find rest in You, as Jesus invites Matt 11:28 Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest.
We encourage you to continue to stand in faith for your son, trusting that God hears the prayers of a parent and is at work even when we cannot see it. Keep speaking truth and love over him, keep the door open for reconciliation and fellowship, and trust the Holy Spirit to lead him step by step. We will continue to agree with you for his complete healing, his joy in his work, his godly friendships, and his walk ever closer with Jesus.
