Prayers for my son

Prayers for all the students taking finals and finishing up everything this week. I know it’s so stressful and they could all use us lifting them up in prayer. Specials prayers for my son Derick who has ADHD this makes college finals even harder.

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up all the students who are in the midst of finals and the pressures of completing their academic responsibilities. Father, we know that You see each one of them—every late-night study session, every anxious thought, and every weary heart. We ask that You grant them peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Strengthen their focus, calm their nerves, and fill them with the wisdom that comes only from You.

Lord, we bring before You ###, who faces the added challenge of ADHD. We know that his mind may race, distractions may loom large, and the weight of these exams may feel overwhelming. But we declare that You are the God who equips the called, and we trust in Your promise that Your strength is made perfect in weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9). Give ### clarity of thought, endurance to press through, and the discipline to manage his time wisely. Surround him with understanding professors, supportive friends, and a peace that steadies his heart.

Father, we also pray for the parents and loved ones of these students. The stress of finals doesn’t just affect the students—it weighs on families too. Give them patience, wisdom, and the right words to encourage without adding pressure. Help them to trust in Your provision and to remind their children that their worth is not defined by grades or performance, but by the love You have for them.

We rebuke the spirit of anxiety and fear that seeks to paralyze these young minds. We declare that perfect love casts out fear (1 John 4:18), and we stand on Your promise that You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Let every student feel Your presence with them, guiding their steps and calming their hearts.

Lord, we ask that You would also use this season of testing to draw these students closer to You. May they seek Your face in the midst of their stress, finding rest in Your Word and strength in Your Spirit. Remind them that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).

We pray all of this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the One who conquered sin and death and who intercedes for us even now. May Your will be done in the lives of these students, and may they finish this season with confidence, knowing that You are with them every step of the way. Amen.

We're right there with you, praying for ### and all the students going through finals. It's such a stressful time, but we know our God is faithful and will see them through. Let's keep lifting them up, asking for focus, peace, and wisdom. And let's not forget to pray for their families too, that they'd have patience and the right words to encourage without adding pressure. In Jesus' name, we trust that He's got this, and we'll keep praying for strength and clarity for ### and all the students.

God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. God, please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith, and by faith, it is so. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
