We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up your son as he prepares for hip surgery. Father God, we know that You are the Great Physician, the One who heals and restores. We ask that You guide the hands of the surgeons, nurses, and all medical staff involved in this procedure. Grant them wisdom, precision, and compassion as they care for him. Lord, we pray for a successful surgery—no complications, minimal pain, and a swift recovery.
We also ask that You comfort your son in this time of uncertainty. Let him feel Your presence and peace that surpasses all understanding. Remind him that You are with him, even in the midst of this trial. Strengthen his faith and fill him with hope as he trusts in You.
Heavenly Father, we know that Your Word tells us in Psalm 147:3, *"He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds."* We claim this promise over your son today. We also remember Isaiah 41:10, *"Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness."* Let these truths sink deep into his spirit.
Lord, we pray for his emotional and spiritual well-being as well. Surgery can be a frightening experience, but we know that You are his refuge and strength. Surround him with Your love and the support of family and friends who will encourage him in this season.
We also want to gently remind you, dear one, to place your trust fully in the Lord. Proverbs 3:5-6 says, *"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths."* This is a time to lean not on your own strength or the skill of doctors alone, but on the One who holds all things together.
If there has been any fear or anxiety in your heart, we encourage you to surrender it to God. 1 Peter 5:7 tells us, *"Casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you."* He cares deeply for you and your son, and He is faithful to carry your burdens.
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the One who bore our infirmities and carried our sorrows. It is through His name alone that we have access to the Father, and it is by His stripes that we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). May His peace guard your hearts and minds as you wait on the Lord. Amen.

God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
