Beloved of All
We join you in lifting up your sister and her husband to our Heavenly Father with thanksgiving for His many blessings. We pray that the Lord will show them His mercy and compassion in this difficult season, and grant them comfort, strength and wisdom as they move forward together.
We ask God to help them honor one another in their marriage covenant, to bear with one another in gentleness and humility, and to forgive as Christ has forgiven us. May He give them a heart of compassion and kindness toward each other, guard their union, and lead them to seek Him first in every decision. We pray that He will provide for their needs, calm their struggles, and work all things for their good according to His gracious will.
May the Lord draw them closer to Himself and to each other, and may His peace rest upon their home. We ask this in the holy and mighty name of Jesus Christ our Lord, amen.
