Prayers for ### surgery today and Prayers for ### to be calm with no anxiety and may ### blood pressure and heart rate all be good, and Prayers for the surgeon and nurses to beform a successful operation and quick recovery for ###

We lift up your precious daughter to the Lord today, trusting in His sovereign care over every detail of her surgery. Father God, we ask that You would guide the hands of the surgeon and the entire medical team with Your perfect wisdom and skill. Let every decision they make be aligned with Your will, and grant them clarity and precision as they work. We pray for your peace to envelop your daughter, calming any anxiety or fear she may feel. Let her rest in the assurance of Your presence, knowing that You are with her in every moment.

Lord, we ask that You regulate her blood pressure and heart rate, keeping them stable and within the bounds of Your perfect design. Protect her body from any complications and grant her a swift and complete recovery. We declare Your healing power over her, for You are the Great Physician who knits us together in our mother’s womb and holds our very breath in Your hands (Psalm 139:13-14). We trust in Your promise that by Your stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5).

We also pray for her emotional and spiritual well-being. Strengthen her faith as she places her trust in You, and let this trial draw her closer to Your heart. Surround her with Your love and the support of those who care for her, reminding her that she is never alone.

Father, we rebuke any spirit of fear or doubt that may try to creep in, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We stand on Your Word, believing that You work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). May Your name be glorified through this situation, and may Your will be done in her life.

In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray, believing that it is only through Him that we have access to Your throne of grace. Amen.

We join you in praying for your daughter’s surgery today. It is completely natural to feel anxious before a procedure like this, both for her and for you. Many people find that simply acknowledging those fears and bringing them to God can loosen their grip, so we are asking Him to quiet her heart and give her a deep, steady calm.

We are also praying for the surgeons and nurses: for clear minds, steady hands, and wisdom throughout the operation. And we ask for a smooth recovery, that her body would heal well, that her blood pressure and heart rate would stay stable, and that you would sense God’s nearness every step of the way.

One small thing that might help: you or a family member could whisper a brief prayer with her before she goes in, something like “Jesus, be near me,” or simply remind her that many people are holding her up in prayer right now. Sometimes knowing we are not alone weakens the fear.

We remember a conversation one pastor had with a man facing major heart surgery. When the pastor tried to gently explore his anxiety, the man looked up and said, “I’m in God’s hands. He will watch over me.” That kind of trust doesn’t ignore the reality of the moment, it simply rests in who God is. We are praying that your daughter, and you, will have that same steady confidence today, whatever the hours ahead hold.

Father, we lift up this daughter to You now. Calm her anxiety, steady her vital signs, and fill her with Your peace. Guide the medical team with skill and focus. Grant a successful operation and a quick, complete recovery. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

The petition for your daughter as she faces the surgeon’s knife has been laid before the throne of grace, and we join our supplications. Anxious care is a weed that brings no fruit; it serves only to unfit the heart for the trial. Cast that burden upon the Lord, for He has promised to sustain you. The calmest soul is the one fixed upon Jehovah, not tossed by every wave of circumstance. Let your daughter’s heart be quieted with that holy calm which comes from walking with God, a serenity that is not mere stoicism, but the peaceful confidence of a child resting in a Father’s love. Pray that her blood pressure and pulse may be steady, yes, but far more, pray that her spirit may be stayed on Christ, for out of a tranquil heart streams health to the whole frame.

Remember that all skill in the operating room is a loan from the Creator. The hands of surgeons are guided by Him who formed the body’s wonders; we ask that He give them clear eyes and steady fingers, and that the operation succeed beyond human expectation. Yet even the finest healing art is but a faint shadow of the Great Physician’s power. Should recovery be slow, do not lose heart; restoration often creeps at a snail’s pace. Each small return of strength is a fresh claim on your gratitude, a new reason to look to the God who renews our days. When weakness lingers, it is but an occasion for Him to show Himself strong.

Above all, seek Him now while He is near. In the hush of the waiting room, call upon Him who inclines His ear. He is full of love, and nothing that He sends can ultimately harm His child. Shake off the dust of despair and cling to the cross afresh; there is quick relief for the soul in a simple renewal of trust in Christ. So may your daughter know that underneath her are the everlasting arms, and may you both find that in the day of trouble He is your hiding place.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Great is the anxiety that seizes a mother’s heart when her child suffers, but greater still is the grace of God that comes to those who call upon Him. You ask for prayers for your daughter’s surgery; do so with boldness, for the Church is indeed a spiritual surgery, where we bring our outward wounds to be healed by the Physician of our souls. As the hands of the surgeon are instruments, so let your faith grasp the truth that all healing flows from the Lord’s mercy.

Hear the voice that never ages, calling to you and your daughter even now: “Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” He does not summon you to chide your fears, but to do away with them and place you both in perfect security. The same Jesus who stilled the storm with a word can calm every racing heartbeat, every rising pressure of blood. Ask Him, then, to baptize her soul with the Holy Spirit’s fire, a grace so abundant and uncontrollable that it burns away panic and leaves only a steady, quiet trust.

Remember that other daughter in the crowd, trembling and ashamed, who touched the hem of His garment and instantly felt healing flood her body. To her He said, “Daughter, be of good cheer; thy faith hath made thee whole.” Your daughter, too, is His daughter if she clings to Him in this hour. Let her not fear the knife or the unknown, but fix her mind on His promise. Pray that the surgeon and nurses be given skill and steady hands, but do not let your soul be torn by questioning every detail of the procedure. The body, once freed from the fever of this affliction, will recover its proper force; and the soul, through this trial, will find a deeper calm than before.

We shall join our prayers to yours, that the operation be successful and the recovery swift. Above all, pray that through this, you both may know the rest that Christ alone imparts, a rest not of this world, but one that fortifies the spirit against every storm. Trust Him, and He will not only bring her through the surgery, but will crown your patience with a peace beyond all understanding.

The deep love you carry for your daughter is a reflection of the way God sees her, precious and worthy of His tender care. He knows every anxious thought, every flutter of concern about blood pressure, heart rate, and the steady hands of the surgeon. Even now, He is not distant. When a father’s heart is bent low with worry, the Lord draws near to bear that weight.

Scripture is filled with daughters who found themselves in moments of great vulnerability, some waiting by wells, some facing danger, some grieving, and some restored beyond all hope. In every story, God’s eye was upon them. Your daughter is not an exception. The same God who watched over Rachel and Dinah and Ruth watches over her today. He holds the skill of the surgeon in His hand and can calm a racing heart with a whisper of peace.

Pray with me now: Father, we lift up this beloved daughter to You. Quiet her spirit with the assurance that You are present. Stabilize her blood pressure and heart rate, and guide every decision the medical team makes. Grant them clarity and precision. May the surgery succeed without complication, and may her recovery be swift and complete. Surround this family with Your comfort, and let them feel Your strong arms upholding them through every moment.

Remember that the One who restored joy to Naomi’s empty hands is able to bring your daughter safely through the operating room and back into your embrace. He is the healer, the sustainer, the one who makes all things well. Hold fast to that hope. When the waiting room feels endless, fix your eyes on Jesus, who cares for her even more than you do.
