We join with you in lifting up your daughter before the throne of grace and we thank you for asking us to pray for her senior year. It is a beautiful and significant season and we pray together that the Lord will fill it with true joy, wholesome friendships, and memories that will glorify Him.

We pray that she will know the joy that comes from walking closely with the Lord, for you will show me the path of life. In your presence is fullness of joy. In your right hand there are pleasures forevermore Psalm 16:11. We ask that God will guard her heart and mind and surround her with friends who will encourage her in faith and kindness, and that He will guide her steps as she trusts in Him with all her heart and does not lean on her own understanding Proverbs 3:5-6. We also pray that anxiety about the future will be replaced with peace as she makes her requests known to God Philippians 4:6-7, knowing that God has plans for her for welfare and not for evil, to give her a future and a hope Jeremiah 29:11.

We also join you in praying for a young man who loves the Lord to come into her life in His perfect timing. We share your desire that he would treat her with honesty, kindness and respect, and we pray that any courtship would be centered on Christ and aimed toward godly marriage. We believe marriage is a lifelong covenant between a man and a woman designed by God, and we pray that she would be equally yoked with a fellow believer 2 Corinthians 6:14 who will love her as Christ also loved the church Ephesians 5:25. We encourage her to view any boyfriend and girlfriend relationship as courtship with the goal of discerning marriage to another Christian believer, and to keep that relationship pure and honoring to God. We gently remind that sex before or outside of marriage is fornication and God calls His children to flee sexual immorality 1 Corinthians 6:18 and to let marriage be held in honor among all and the bed undefiled Hebrews 13:4. A relationship that honors these boundaries shows true respect and love.

We also want to lovingly share that it is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father and it is only by His name that we are saved. Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6 and there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. We pray your daughter knows Jesus not only as Lord in word but as her personal Savior, trusting in His death and resurrection for the forgiveness of sins, and that any young man God brings into her life would know Him in the same way.

We pray together, Father in heaven, we lift this precious daughter to You in the name of Jesus Christ. Pour out Your joy upon her senior year, bless her with faithful friendships, protect her from harm and temptation, and help her to grow in wisdom and in favor with You and with others. If it is Your will, in Your perfect timing bring a godly young man into her life who walks faithfully with You, who will pursue her with integrity, honesty, kindness and respect, and who will seek marriage that honors You. Keep them both pure, patient and prayerful, and let their lives bear witness to Your love. Draw her ever closer to Jesus and let her future be built on Him. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

We love hearing a parent's heart like yours for your daughter. Senior year can hold so much at once, excitement and pressure and goodbyes, and it makes sense you want it to be marked by real joy and steady friendships she will remember warmly.

We are praying with you for that, for daily kindness from peers, for laughter and meaningful memories, and for the Lord to surround her with friends who care about her welfare and share her values. One thing we have found helpful to remember is that deep friendships often grow not by accident but through regular time together, honest conversation, and discovering common faith and convictions. Encouraging her to stay rooted where those things happen, in church community, small groups, or serving alongside others, can give those friendships natural room to grow.

We also hear your prayer for a young man who loves the Lord and will treat her with honesty, kindness and respect. We join you in asking God for His best timing and for wisdom for her as she navigates relationships in this season. Continuing to talk openly with her about what that kind of character looks like in everyday actions can be a quiet, steady support.

Father, we lift this daughter to You. Cover her senior year with Your peace and joy, bring trustworthy friends around her, and guide her steps according to Your will. Give her parents wisdom and encouragement as they love her well. In Jesus name, amen.

Your tender care for your daughter has been heard and we join you in bringing her before the throne of grace. It is a good and right thing for a parent to desire for a child that joy and true friendship should mark her days, and that her memories should be sweet and pure.

We pray for this senior year that the Lord Himself would be her chief joy and her portion. May she walk in that godly fear which is a fountain of life, and may her friendships be found among those who love the Lord and walk in sincerity. We ask that she may be kept from all vanity and folly, and that she may be prepared in heart for whatever providence the Lord has appointed for her future, for preparation must be found on this side of eternity and the Lord is the Author of it. May she know the seal of His Spirit and not be afraid to be happy in Christ.

And we join you in praying concerning a companion for her life. What a happy circumstance it is when a gracious young man and a gracious young woman are joined together in the fear of God, for it is ill when there is a radical difference between husband and wife. We do pray that if it be the Lord's will, He would in His own time bring into her life a young man who loves the Lord Jesus Christ in sincerity, who is honest and upright, kind and respectful, and who seeks to follow the road in which godly principles would conduct him. We pray that any such friendship would be guarded in purity and honour, looking not to the passions of youth but to that holy estate of marriage which is the lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, wherein with all his worldly goods a man does endow his bride and wherein Christ is revealed as the Husband of His people. May she be kept from being unequally yoked, and may she find rest in the will of God, whether in singleness or in marriage, knowing that true rest is found in Jesus Christ alone, through whom alone is salvation.

So we commend her to the Lord who found His people in the wilderness and has loved them with an everlasting love. May He provide for her, commune with her lovingly, keep her feet from straying, and make her glad in Him through this year and all the years to come. May the God of all grace hear your prayers as a father and cause your daughter to forsake not the instruction of those who have taught her the way of truth.

We will continue to bear her up before the Lord with you.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your faithful love for your daughter is evident in this prayer, and it is right and good to bring her before the Lord in this important year.

We join you in praying that her senior year will be filled with true joy and with friendships that are formed upon godliness. The most pleasant and lasting friendships are not built on display or popularity, but on virtue, orderliness, and love that binds hearts together in peace. We pray that God will surround her with friends of good character, neighbors and companions who encourage her in what is good, and that her memories of this year will be marked by that kind of wholesome abundance and gratitude rather than confusion or uproar.

We also join you in praying for the young man you described. When seeking a husband for a daughter, the Scriptures teach us not to seek first money or splendor of family or outward greatness, for those things are superfluous. Rather seek piety of soul, gentleness, true understanding, and the fear of God. Such a man will be truly a husband and protector, one who treats her with honesty, kindness, and respect because he first loves the Lord. Marriage is honorable, a spiritual union where soul is united to God and two are joined together in Christ. It preserves holiness through faithfulness and chaste love within the lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, as God has ordained.

Therefore the best path is to invite Christ into this matter from the beginning. As you continue to take anxious care for her future, commit the matter into His hands and beseech Him to be present and to provide whom He wills in His perfect time. He is not ashamed to be invited into our homes and our decisions, and when we honor Him by trusting Him with this choice, He requites us with honor. Pray that she too will walk in holiness and wisdom, keeping herself pure and seeking first the Lord, so that any relationship that develops will be one that honors Him.

Let us pray together. Heavenly Father, we lift up this daughter to You. Grant her a senior year filled with joy, with true friendships rooted in Your love, and with happy memories that give thanks to You. Guard her heart and mind in Christ Jesus, keep her in holiness and modesty, and lead her in the way of virtue. In Your wisdom and timing, bring into her life a young man who loves You above all, who walks in gentleness and integrity, and who will treat her with honesty, kindness, and respect. Let any friendship and any courtship be conducted in purity and in the fear of You, looking toward marriage as You have designed it. Give her parents peace as they entrust her to Your care, knowing that You hear those who call upon You and desire their good. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, who alone is our salvation and hope. Amen.
