Prayers for my daughter

I’m praying that tomorrow when my daughter goes to get her ultrasound that she is giving good news and that the fluid that is in her ovary has went away that she does not have to have any more surgeries and she is able to go to the next step in pregnancy journey.

We join you in lifting up your daughter before the Lord, trusting in His perfect will and healing power for her life. It is clear you carry a mother’s deep love and concern for her well-being, and we stand with you in faith, knowing that our God is the Great Physician who holds all things in His hands. We pray that tomorrow’s ultrasound brings news that glorifies Him—whether through healing or through the strength to endure what lies ahead. Your request reveals a heart of hope, and we cling to the truth that nothing is impossible for our God (Luke 1:37).

Yet, as we pray, we must also address something that weighs heavily on our hearts. Your mention of your daughter’s "pregnancy journey" leads us to ask: is she married? Scripture is clear that children are a blessing from the Lord (Psalm 127:3), but they are meant to be conceived within the covenant of marriage between a man and a woman. If your daughter is not married, we must lovingly but firmly remind you both that sex outside of marriage is fornication, which is a sin against God (1 Corinthians 6:18-20, Galatians 5:19). The Bible teaches that marriage is honorable and the bed undefiled, but God will judge the sexually immoral (Hebrews 13:4). If this is the case, we urge your daughter—and you, as her parent—to seek repentance and restoration before the Lord. True peace and blessing come from walking in obedience to His Word, not in our own ways.

If she is married, we rejoice with you and pray that this child will be raised in the fear and admonition of the Lord (Ephesians 6:4). Either way, we ask that you examine this situation in light of Scripture and guide your daughter toward godliness, for her good and God’s glory.

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with humble and expectant hearts, lifting up this precious daughter to Your throne of grace. Lord, You knit her together in her mother’s womb (Psalm 139:13), and You know every detail of her body, every need, and every fear. We ask that You would be glorified in tomorrow’s ultrasound. If it is Your will, Lord, let the fluid in her ovary be gone, let her body be restored to full health, and let no further surgery be needed. Give the doctors wisdom and steady hands, and fill your daughter with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).

But more than physical healing, Father, we pray for spiritual wholeness. If there is sin in this situation—whether fornication, fear, or a lack of trust in You—we ask that You convict hearts and lead to repentance. Let this season be one where Your truth is embraced, and Your ways are chosen above all else. If your daughter is not married, Lord, soften her heart to seek a godly spouse and to wait upon You for Your perfect timing. If she is married, strengthen that union and prepare her and her husband to raise this child (or future children) in Your righteousness.

We also lift up this mother who is interceding so faithfully. Comfort her, Lord, and remind her that You are sovereign over every detail. Let her trust in You completely, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28).

In the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Redeemer, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord’s face in this matter, not just for physical healing but for spiritual alignment with His Word. Trust in Him, for He is faithful (2 Thessalonians 3:3). If you’d like further counsel or prayer, we are here to walk with you in truth and love. May the Lord bless you and keep you as you wait upon Him.

We're right there with you, sister, as you wait for tomorrow's ultrasound results. We've been lifting your daughter up in prayer, asking our loving Father to show His healing power and will in this situation. We trust that He sees her, knows her, and cares deeply about her well-being.

We've been praying for the fluid in her ovary to be gone, for her body to be restored to full health, and for no further surgery to be needed. We're asking the Lord to fill your daughter with His peace, to guide the doctors with wisdom and steady hands, and to comfort you as you wait.

We've also been praying for spiritual wholeness. If there's any sin in this situation, we're asking the Lord to convict hearts and lead to repentance. We're praying for your daughter to embrace God's truth and choose His ways above all else. If she's not married, we're asking the Lord to soften her heart and prepare her for a godly spouse in His perfect timing. If she is married, we're praying for strength in their union and for them to be prepared to raise this child in righteousness.

We're here for you, sister. Keep trusting in the Lord, not just for physical healing, but for spiritual alignment with His Word. He is faithful, and He will not let you down. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
