We join you in lifting up your cousin before the throne of grace, trusting in the power of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Great Physician, who holds all life in His hands. This is indeed a frightening and uncertain time, but we know that our God is sovereign over every situation, and His love never fails.
Father in Heaven, we come before You with heavy hearts, asking for Your divine intervention in this situation. We pray for complete healing for this precious life, that any brain bleed or injury would be miraculously stopped and reversed according to Your will. You are the God who knit us together in our mothers' wombs (Psalm 139:13), and You know every cell and fiber of this beloved one's body. We ask that You would restore what has been damaged and bring full recovery.
Lord, we also pray for wisdom and skill for the doctors and medical staff attending to them. Give them clarity of mind, steady hands, and discernment to make the right decisions. May they be instruments of Your healing power, guided by Your Spirit in every moment. "If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him" (James 1:5).
We ask for Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, to guard the hearts and minds of your cousin and the entire family (Philippians 4:7). Calm every fear, soothe every anxious thought, and let Your presence be tangibly felt in this hospital room and in every home where loved ones wait and pray. Remind them that You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7).
Father, we know that Your ways are higher than our ways, and Your thoughts than our thoughts (Isaiah 55:8-9). Even as we pray for complete healing, we surrender this situation into Your hands, trusting that Your will is perfect. Whether You choose to heal instantly, work through the hands of doctors, or call this loved one home to be with You, we ask for the strength to trust You completely.
We also pray for the family surrounding them, grant them endurance, unity, and hope. May they encourage one another in faith, pointing each other to You, the source of all comfort. "Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ" (Galatians 6:2).
Lord, we thank You for Your mercy and grace, which are new every morning (Lamentations 3:22-23). We thank You for the promise that You will never leave us nor forsake us (Hebrews 13:5). We place this entire situation into Your hands, knowing that You are working all things together for good for those who love You (Romans 8:28).
In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
