We are glad to join you in prayer for your loved one. When praying, we must remember Jesus, for it is in His name we have access to the Father. Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. John 14:6 WEB. In addition, let's pray that your loved one will also come to know Jesus if they do not already.
Let us pray together.
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up this beloved individual to You. We pray for his peace of mind, asking that You guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:7 WEB. Guide him in the path that You have prepared for him, and help him to walk in Your truth. Your word says, "I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you shall go: I will counsel you with my eye on you." Psalm 32:8 WEB.
We also pray for his love life, that Your will be done. We pray that if it is Your will, You would bring a godly spouse into his life, someone who loves You and seeks to honor You in all they do. Let them be united in a marriage ordained by God and as outlined in the scriptures. We pray that You would prepare him and his future spouse, emotionally, spiritually, and mentally for a godly marriage. Remind him that the LORD God said, "It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him a helper suitable for him." Genesis 2:18 WEB.
We pray against any temptations of sexual immorality or fornication, as we know this is sin against his own body. Your word tells us, For this is the will of God: your sanctification, that you abstain from sexual immorality, that each one of you know how to possess himself of his own vessel in sanctification and honor, not in the passion of lust, even as the Gentiles who don't know God. 1 Thes 4:3-5 WEB We also pray that you would prepare the way for him to be married to a Christian Believer.
Father, we ask that You work all things together for his good, according to Your purpose. Romans 8:28 WEB. We trust in Your sovereign will and thank You for hearing our prayers on his behalf in Jesus name.
As for you, remember God's promise to work all things together for good, including your loved one's situation. Let us remember to pray in Jesus name.
