Prayers for final exma

Hello my brothers and sisters, I come to ask for your prayers, I started a PA program this summer and it was really hard to get in and now I am struggling to pass exams for one specific class. If I don't ACE my last two exams I will be kicked out. I am losing faith, hope and motivation. Please I ask for you all to pray for me. I really need a faith backbone right now.

We hear your cry for help, dear brother, and we stand with you in prayer, lifting you up before the throne of grace. The weight of your situation is heavy, and we understand the fear and discouragement that can creep in when the path ahead seems uncertain. But we want to remind you that the Lord is your strength, your refuge, and your ever-present help in times of trouble (Psalm 46:1). He has brought you this far, and He will not abandon you now.

First, we must address the state of your faith. You mentioned losing faith, hope, and motivation, and we want to gently but firmly remind you that faith is not just a feeling, it is a choice to trust in God even when circumstances are overwhelming. The Bible tells us, "Faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen" (Hebrews 11:1). Even when you cannot see the outcome, God is working behind the scenes. We encourage you to cling to His promises and to fix your eyes on Him rather than your circumstances.

We also want to remind you that your worth is not defined by your performance or success in this program. You are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), and God has a purpose for your life that extends far beyond this moment. However, He has allowed you to be in this program for a reason, and we believe He will equip you to finish what He has started in you. "Being confident of this very thing, that he who began a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ" (Philippians 1:6).

Now, let us pray for you:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our brother who is feeling overwhelmed and discouraged. Lord, You see the weight he is carrying, and You know the desires of his heart. We ask that You would strengthen his faith and renew his hope. Remind him that You are his refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Lord, we ask that You would give him clarity of mind, focus, and wisdom as he prepares for these exams. Remove any anxiety or fear that is hindering him, and replace it with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Father, we declare that You are the God of breakthroughs, and we ask that You would open the doors of understanding for him. Let the knowledge he has studied be clear in his mind, and let him recall it with ease. We rebuke any spirit of confusion or forgetfulness, and we declare that the Holy Spirit, who is the Spirit of truth, will guide him into all truth (John 16:13).

Lord, we also pray for his emotional and spiritual well-being. Restore his motivation and give him the perseverance to press on, even when it feels impossible. Remind him that You are with him, and that Your grace is sufficient for him (2 Corinthians 12:9). Help him to cast all his cares upon You, for You care for him (1 Peter 5:7). Father, we ask that You would surround him with godly encouragement, friends, mentors, or family members who can speak life into him and remind him of Your promises. Let him feel Your presence in a tangible way, Lord, so that he knows he is not alone.

Finally, Lord, we ask that You would use this season to draw him closer to You. Let this trial refine his faith and produce endurance, so that when he has stood the test, he may receive the crown of life that You have promised to those who love You (James 1:12). We trust You, Father, to work all things together for his good, and we declare that he will not be kicked out of this program. Instead, he will rise up and finish strong, to the glory of Your name. In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.

We encourage you to take practical steps as well. Make sure you are studying in a way that aligns with how you learn best, whether that means reviewing notes, teaching the material to someone else, or using practice questions. Seek out resources like tutoring or study groups if they are available. And most importantly, saturate your mind with Scripture. Meditate on verses like Joshua 1:9, which says, "Haven’t I commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Don’t be afraid. Don’t be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go." Let God’s Word be the foundation that strengthens your faith backbone.

You are not alone in this, brother. We are standing with you, and more importantly, the Lord is fighting for you. Keep pressing forward, one step at a time, and trust that He will see you through.

We’re holding you up before the Father right now. It takes real courage to say out loud that your hope is fading and your motivation is gone, especially when you’ve worked so hard just to get into this program. That admission isn’t weakness; it’s the honest place where God meets us.

What you’re feeling makes complete sense. When one class feels like the gatekeeper of a whole calling, our minds can turn a tough exam into a giant. That overprediction of fear only tightens the grip. But this moment is not the full story of who you are or what God is doing in you. Your worth isn’t riding on a grade, and a setback in one semester wouldn’t erase the gifts you already carry.

Practically, could you break the remaining material into small, doable pieces for each day, and protect just as fiercely your sleep and a little time with the Lord each morning? Reach out to a classmate who might study with you, or ask the professor honestly what to prioritize. Sometimes a wise mentor or friend praying with you before the exam can steady your heart more than cramming. Lean into the body of Christ around you, they are your backbone right now while yours feels so thin.

Lord Jesus, you remember what it is to face an overwhelming hour. Be near this one in the studying and in the exam room. Quiet the racing thoughts. Bring to mind what has been learned. Restore a quiet confidence that this is not the end of the story, and wrap them in your peace. In your name we pray.

The hour of your trial is not a sign that God has forsaken you, but rather that He is drawing you to seek Him with a faith that will not be denied. What is it that my Lord is looking for now? He comes round and looks at you to see whether you have faith in Him. Christ may say of faith, "You have ravished My heart with one of your eyes." When we can but look straight to Christ and trust in Him, He is charmed and carried away by our faith. He put His finger on the power that had urged the Canaanite woman forward and He said, "O woman, great is your faith!" And not in this case alone did Christ trace the blessing to faith, but in nearly every instance where a suppliant obtained favor from Him, faith was the medium of securing the mercy.

I hear you say you are losing faith, hope, and motivation. Yet observe that there often is in Christian experience a graduation: you will sometimes find Believers in so low a state that their heart is full of fear. By-and-by they are enabled to exercise the faith that God has given them, but it is mingled fear and trust. When you are afraid, then is the time to trust the Lord. May God work it in you and then your fear shall only drive you closer to your Lord! And so the fear and the faith shall go on hand in hand together for a while, till at last perfect love shall come in and take the place of fear, and then faith and love shall go hand in hand to Heaven!

Your faith must be based upon God’s promise. Jacob’s faith was based upon God’s promise. Oh, that the Holy Spirit would work it in us, preserve it in us and perfect it in us till faith is lost in sight and hope is changed to full fruition! Never let us doubt the living God for a single moment. The persuasion that Christ died for me comes after the exercise of faith and is an outgrowth of that faith; it is faith in full bloom, but it is not necessarily the essence of faith in Christ. Faith, faith, faith, this is the reservoir and if this is not well filled, the pipes will soon run dry!

Do not despise the weakness of your faith, yet do not indulge it. Weak faith may bring us a blessing, but weakness in faith is an evil, and to indulge weakness in faith and not to struggle out of it would only be a willful increase of guilt! Growth in faith is necessary to our comfort. Little-Faith goes to Heaven, but his feet are sore on the road. The fear of God is kept alive in our hearts by the hearing of the Word; for faith cometh by hearing, and holy fear cometh through faith. Be diligent, then, in hearing the Word. Study the doctrines of grace, and be instructed in the analogy of the faith. Know the gospel well and thoroughly, and this will bring fuel to the fire of the fear of God in your hearts. Be much in private prayer; for that stirs up the fire, and makes it burn more brilliantly.

Understand that in Christ you are perfect in position, though not yet in character. He has perfected forever them that are sanctified. My text does not touch character, it touches position in the sight of God. We are not perfect in character, any one of us, we are only perfect in position. The Lord will perfect that which concerneth you. Forsake me not in the day of my repentance, lest I lose the hope of pardon, and fall into despair; and forsake me not in the day of my strongest faith, lest my faith degenerate into presumption, and so I perish by mine own hand. Truly, the very essence of faith lies there, the consciousness of being lost in ourselves and found in Christ, and the leaving of one’s soul in Jesus’ hands! The faith in the Lord Jesus Christ which saves the soul shows itself in obedience to the precepts which He lays down and in forsaking the habits which He condemns.

You are saved already from the guilt of sin if your faith is in Christ, and this is your hope, belief, desire, expectancy. The moment Faith introduced Hope into the heart she sang, "I have the complete salvation not in actual enjoyment, but in sure future in Christ Jesus." Hope waved the first sheaf and so took possession of the harvest. Look not to your own strength to ace these exams, but to Him who has begun a good work in you. Faith was the living principle, but fear was the moving power; moved by fear, may you be drawn and driven to the Lord Jesus! Faith moulded Noah, but fear moved him; fear grafted upon faith brought forth the gracious fruit of exact obedience. Go now to your studies as unto the Lord, leaving your soul in Jesus’ hands, and look for His perfecting mercy to do what you cannot.

Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, so that I can trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about.
