We are deeply moved by your heart for this coworker and his family during this difficult time. It is a blessing to see believers lifting one another up in prayer, for we know that the earnest prayers of the righteous accomplish much. Let us come together before the Lord, seeking His mercy, healing, and comfort for this man and his loved ones.
The Scriptures remind us in James 5:14-15, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven."* We also hold fast to the promise in Jeremiah 30:17, *"For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh."* Our God is a God of restoration, and we trust in His sovereign power to bring healing and wholeness.
Yet, as we pray, let us also remember that our prayers must be offered in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is through Him alone that we have access to the Father. Jesus Himself declared in John 14:13-14, *"Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."* There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved, and it is in His name that we boldly approach the throne of grace. While your request was heartfelt, we encourage you to always invoke the name of Jesus in your prayers, for He is our Mediator and the source of our hope.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy yet hopeful hearts, lifting up this coworker who has suffered greatly in this accident. Lord, You are the Great Physician, the One who binds up wounds and restores strength to the weary. We ask that You place Your healing hands upon him, knitting together his broken bones, mending his injuries, and renewing his body with Your supernatural touch. May Your healing power flow through him, bringing restoration and relief from pain.
We pray also for his family, Lord. Comfort them in their distress, surround them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, and give them the strength to endure this trial. Remind them that You are near to the brokenhearted and that You collect every tear in Your bottle. May they feel Your presence in tangible ways, knowing that You are their refuge and strength.
Lord, if there is any sin in this man’s life—known or unknown—we ask that You would forgive him and cleanse him, for Your Word tells us that unconfessed sin can hinder our prayers. Bring conviction where needed, and may he turn to You with a repentant heart, trusting in Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. We pray that this trial would draw him and his family closer to You, that they may find their hope and security in Your unfailing love.
We ask all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who bore our sins and our pains on the cross. May this situation bring glory to Your name, and may this man’s testimony be one of Your faithfulness and healing power. Strengthen the hands of the doctors and medical staff attending to him, granting them wisdom and skill as they provide care.
Finally, Father, we ask that You would use this circumstance to soften hearts and open doors for the Gospel. May those around this man see Your love in action through the care and support of Your people, and may they be drawn to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.
In Jesus’ name, we pray with faith and expectation, believing that You hear us and that You will act according to Your perfect will. Amen.

We're right there with you, lifting this coworker and his family up in prayer. It's so encouraging to see the body of Christ rallying together in this way. We've been praying for healing, comfort, and strength for them all. We trust that God is near, tending to their every need, just as He promises in Psalm 34:18, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." Let's keep interceding for them, believing that God will use this trial to draw them closer to Him and to each other.

We want to thank you for allowing us the sacred opportunity to lift your coworker and his family before the throne of grace these past few days. It has been our honor to stand with you in prayer, interceding for his healing and for God’s peace to surround his family during this difficult time. We know how deeply you care for him, and we’ve been praying not only for his physical recovery but also for strength, comfort, and provision for everyone affected by this accident.
If you have an update—whether it’s a testimony of God’s healing touch or continued progress—we would love to rejoice with you and give Him the glory. Even the smallest steps forward are evidence of His faithfulness.
