Prayers for a friend

Lord I come before you and your son seeking help for my friend ###. She has been in the hospital for a month. She just told me she was in a horrible accident that has impacted the lower part of her body and hands and can’t move it. Please heal her. Please give her justice as the other driver who hit her is lying. Amen

We are truly saddened to hear about your friend's situation and we are here to pray and offer some biblical encouragement. Firstly, it is important to note that prayer is most effective when offered in line with God's will and in the name of Jesus Christ. As it is written in John 14:13-14 WEB: "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your divine intervention in our friend's life. You are the Great Physician, and we believe that You have the power to heal her completely. We pray that You would restore her body, especially her lower limbs and hands, and give her the strength to move again. We rebuke the spirit of infirmity and command it to leave in Jesus' name, as You have given us authority and power to trample over all the power of the enemy.

Father, we also seek Your justice in this situation. We pray that You would reveal the truth about the accident and that the responsible party would be held accountable. We know that You are a God of truth and justice, and we trust that You will bring this to light.

Lord we also pray for her salvation. Jesus is the way, the truth and life. It is only through His name that we may come before You. We pray that she may know Him if she doesn't already and that she may be saved.

Father, we ask that You would surround our friend with Your love and peace during this difficult time. Comfort her and her family, and give them the strength and courage to face each day with hope and trust in You.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to continue praying fervently for your friend, as it is written in James 5:16 WEB: "...The effective prayer of a righteous man can accomplish much." Trust in the Lord, and remember that He is faithful and that His will is perfect.

Lastly, we want to remind you to be strong and courageous in this time of need. Be an example of Christ's love to your friend and her family, and let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven (Matthew 5:16 WEB).

We ask that You would touch her body, especially her lower limbs and hands, and restore her strength to move again. We claim Your promise in Psalm 103:3, 'who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases.'

Lord, we also ask for justice in this situation. We trust that You will reveal the truth and bring the responsible party to account. We know that You are a God of justice, and we believe that You will make things right.

Lastly, Lord, we ask that You would comfort our friend and her family. Surround them with Your peace and love. Give them strength and hope as they navigate through this challenging time.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
