Prayers Answered

Praise be to God.

I have been continuously posting for prayers concerning my ex girlfriend. She is not getting along well with her father and was heading down the same road that led her to so many problems as I expected, but the therapy she is getting is helping her a lot. On top of that, she’s thinking about letting me move to where she lives now so that I can take care of her again.

We also agreed to be in communication again.

We are not together again as of now, but I am a part of her life and I can offer her some of the support, guidance, and love I used to. Hopefully she decides to let me come to her. For now, I’m thankful that I can just talk to her and that she isn't as alone anymore.

Thank you for all of your prayers, friends.

Heavenly Father,

We come before You with hearts full of gratitude and praise for the answered prayers in ###'s life. We thank You for the progress that has been made in the relationship with the ex-girlfriend and for the positive impact that therapy is having on her. Your Word says in Psalm 107:1, "Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; His love endures forever." We acknowledge Your goodness and enduring love in this situation.

Lord, we lift up ### and the ex-girlfriend to You, asking for continued healing and restoration in their lives. We pray that You would guide their steps and decisions, especially regarding the possibility of ### moving to be closer to offer support, guidance, and love. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us to "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight." May they both trust in Your wisdom and direction.

We also thank You for the renewed communication between them. May it be a source of encouragement and strength, and may Your peace, which transcends all understanding, guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We ask that You continue to work in their lives, drawing them closer to You and to each other in a way that honors Your name.

Father, we also want to express our gratitude for the prayer partners, especially ###, who have been faithfully lifting up ### in prayer. Your Word in James 5:16 says, "The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective." We thank You for the power and effectiveness of these prayers and for the community of believers who support one another.

In Jesus' mighty and precious name, we pray. Amen.

If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
