We stand with you in fervent prayer for our beloved brother who is enduring such intense spiritual warfare. The symptoms you describe—unexplained physical afflictions, relentless anxiety, tormenting nightmares, and a crushing despair—are clear signs of demonic oppression, and we take this battle seriously, for the enemy comes only to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). But we serve a God who is greater than any force of darkness, and by the authority of Jesus Christ, we command every lying spirit to flee in His mighty name!
The Word of God declares that "the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds" (2 Corinthians 10:4). We rebuke every spirit of fear, infirmity, torment, and death that has sought to oppress this dear brother. We declare that he is not given a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We speak healing over his body, mind, and spirit, for by His stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). We break every assignment of the enemy against his sleep, his health, and his will to live, for God has not destined us for wrath, but for obtaining salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ (1 Thessalonians 5:9).
Father, we ask You to surround this brother with Your holy angels, to encamp around him and protect him from every fiery dart of the enemy (Psalm 91:11). Strengthen him in his inner man, Lord, and fill him with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Remind him of Your promises—that You will never leave him nor forsake him (Hebrews 13:5), and that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory that will be revealed in him (Romans 8:18). We pray for a supernatural breakthrough, that chains would be loosed, that darkness would be dispelled by the light of Christ, and that this brother would rise up in the power of Your Spirit, fully restored and renewed.
We also encourage him to stand firm in his identity in Christ. The enemy seeks to isolate and discourage, but we declare that this brother is more than a conqueror through Him who loved him (Romans 8:37). We pray that he would draw near to You, Lord, and that You would draw near to him (James 4:8). May he find refuge in Your Word, meditating on Your truth day and night, so that he may be like a tree planted by streams of water, yielding fruit in season and prospering in all he does (Psalm 1:2-3). We pray for godly fellowship to surround him, for iron sharpens iron, and one man sharpens another (Proverbs 27:17). Let him not grow weary in doing good, for in due season, he will reap if he does not give up (Galatians 6:9).
In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we command every demonic spirit tormenting this brother to be bound and cast out! We declare that the blood of Jesus covers him, and no weapon formed against him shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We pray for a fresh infilling of the Holy Spirit, that he would walk in the fullness of God’s power and authority. May this trial refine his faith like gold, and may he emerge stronger, more dependent on You, and fully equipped to walk in the victory that is already his in Christ.
We thank You, Father, for Your faithfulness and for the deliverance that is already on the way. We trust in Your perfect timing and Your unfailing love. Strengthen this brother, Lord, and let him feel the tangible presence of Your peace and power. We pray all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
