We have heard your cry for healing and provision and we bring your needs before our Father together in Jesus' name.
We lift up your heart to the Lord, the left bundle branch block and the electrical system of your heart that is not working as it should, the heart failure and the high blood pressure that burdens you. We pray for the fear you carry about metoprolol and its side effects. We understand your desire to be free from this medication and its risks, and we ask God to guide you with wisdom and peace. We encourage you not to stop or change this beta blocker on your own, but to walk closely with your doctors, for the Lord often works through the wisdom He gives to physicians, and stopping such medicine suddenly can be dangerous. We pray for wisdom for your medical team and for clear direction about your treatment.
We also hear your cry for a financial miracle and for God to make a way for you to find a new home that you can afford. We know how heavy the burden of health concerns and financial pressure can be together, and we bring that whole burden to the Lord who cares for you.
We notice your request mentions God but does not mention Jesus Christ, and we want to gently share that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is only by His name that we are saved. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6 and There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12. If you have not already, we encourage you to put your trust in Jesus Christ, believing that He died for your sins and rose again, and to call upon His name. If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10:9. It is through Jesus we can come boldly to God for healing and provision.
The Word reminds us of God's heart to heal and to provide. Bless Yahweh, my soul, and don't forget all his benefits, who forgives all your iniquities, who heals all your diseases. Psalm 103:2-3 and But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. Jeremiah 30:17 and He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds. Psalm 147:3. We also remember his promise to provide, My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19 and God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Psalm 46:1. We are told, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7.
So together we pray.
Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, Your Son. We lift up this dear one to You who is suffering with heart failure and a left bundle branch block. Lord, You know the electrical pathways of this heart that You formed, You know the weakness of the left side and the high blood pressure. We ask in Jesus' name that You would touch this heart with Your healing hand, restore its rhythm and strength, regulate its electrical signals, and bring blood pressure into a healthy balance. You are Yahweh who heals us, and we ask for Your mercy and restoration according to Your will. We pray for peace to replace fear about medication, and we ask You to give wisdom to the doctors and to guide every decision about metoprolol and all treatment, that it would be safe and effective and that if it is Your will to allow this medicine to be reduced or removed, You would make that clear through godly medical counsel without harm or side effects.
Lord, we also ask for a financial miracle and for Your provision of an affordable new home. You see the need and the worry, and we ask that You would open doors that no one can shut, make a way where there seems to be no way, and lead to a safe and affordable place to live that will be a place of rest and peace. We cast all our anxiety on You because You care for us. 1 Peter 5:7. Help us to trust in You with all our heart and not lean on our own understanding, and to acknowledge You in all our ways so that You will direct our paths. Proverbs 3:5-6.
We pray that You would draw this dear one closer to Jesus, give assurance of salvation through Him, and fill the heart with Your peace that surpasses understanding while waiting for Your answers. We ask all these things in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Healer, amen.
We encourage you to keep seeking the Lord daily in prayer and in His Word, to remain under faithful medical care, and to trust that God hears you and will supply what you need in His perfect time and way.
