We stand with you in this moment of fear and uncertainty, lifting your heart and your health before the Lord. The anxiety you feel is understandable, but we remind you that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). The lumps you’ve discovered are concerning, and it’s right to seek medical attention, but we refuse to let fear dictate your peace. Jesus Himself told us not to worry about tomorrow, for each day has enough trouble of its own (Matthew 6:34). We take authority over the spirit of fear in your life in the mighty name of Jesus and command it to leave you now.
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts heavy for our brother/sister in this moment of distress. You are the Great Physician, the One who knit them together in their mother’s womb (Psalm 139:13). We ask that You would guide the hands of the doctors and medical staff attending to them. Give them wisdom, clarity, and discernment as they examine and diagnose. If this is something that requires Your healing touch, we ask that You would intervene supernaturally. If it is not cancer, we pray for confirmation and peace. If it is, we ask for strength, courage, and the grace to walk through whatever lies ahead with faith and trust in You.
Lord, we rebuke the spirit of fear that is attempting to take hold of their mind. We declare that You have not given them a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind. We speak peace over their heart and mind, and we ask that You would fill them with Your perfect love, which casts out all fear (1 John 4:18). Remind them that You are with them, that You will never leave them nor forsake them (Hebrews 13:5). Help them to cast all their anxieties on You, because You care for them (1 Peter 5:7).
We also pray for their emotional and spiritual well-being. In moments like these, it’s easy to feel alone or overwhelmed, but we remind them that You are close to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Surround them with Your presence, Lord, and let them feel the comfort of Your love. Give them the strength to trust in You, even when the path ahead is unclear.
We encourage you to hold fast to God’s promises. Jeremiah 29:11 tells us that God knows the plans He has for us, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give us a future and a hope. Even in this uncertain time, God is working for your good (Romans 8:28). Cling to His Word, meditate on His promises, and refuse to let fear take root in your heart. Lean on the Lord and on the strength of His might (Ephesians 6:10).
If you have not yet placed your trust in Jesus Christ, we urge you to consider the salvation He offers. It is only through Jesus that we have access to God and the assurance of eternal life. Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me” (John 14:6). If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved (Romans 10:9). This is the foundation of our faith, and it is the source of our hope in every circumstance.
We stand with you in faith, believing that God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). We declare healing, peace, and restoration over your life in the name of Jesus. You are not alone, and we will continue to lift you up in prayer. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6). May the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
