We come before the Lord with a humble and seeking heart, lifting up this request to know one’s calling. Father God, Your Word tells us in Jeremiah 29:11, *"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you,” says Yahweh, “thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future."* You have a unique purpose for each of Your children, and we trust that You will reveal it in Your perfect timing.
Lord, we pray that You would open the eyes of this dear one to see the path You have set before them. Give them clarity, wisdom, and discernment as they seek Your will. Help them to surrender their own desires and plans, trusting fully in You. Remind them that their calling is not just about what they do but about who they are in Christ—beloved, chosen, and set apart for Your glory.
We also encourage this one to spend time in Your Word and in prayer, for it is in Your presence that You speak. Proverbs 3:5-6 says, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths."* Let them not grow weary in seeking You, for You are faithful to guide those who earnestly seek Your face.
If there is any area of their life that is not aligned with Your will—whether in their thoughts, actions, or relationships—we ask that You convict and correct them gently but firmly. Help them to walk in holiness and obedience, for Your calling is always in harmony with Your Word.
We rebuke any spirit of confusion, doubt, or fear that may be hindering this one from hearing Your voice clearly. In the name of Jesus, we declare that they *will* know Your calling for their life, and they will walk in it with confidence and joy.
Father, we also want to take a moment to emphasize the importance of knowing Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. If this one has not yet surrendered their life to Him, we pray that they would do so today. Acts 4:12 tells us, *"There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!”* Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life, and no one comes to the Father except through Him. If they have not confessed Him as Lord, we pray they would do so now, repenting of their sins and receiving the gift of eternal life.
Lord, we thank You for the privilege of coming before Your throne on behalf of this one. We trust that You are working in their life, even now, and we pray that they would step into the fullness of Your calling with boldness and faith. May their life bring You glory, and may they walk in the purpose You have ordained for them from the foundation of the world.
In the mighty and precious name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
