Simply Blessed

Disciple of Prayer
My prayer request for ###, ###. Please. And I have a question. Are we allowed as believers of Christ to accept help from someone who has done love spells on women without even knowing? He’s from ### and their beliefs are totally different.

We come before the Lord with a heavy heart, lifting up this request and seeking His wisdom and discernment. First and foremost, we must address the name by which we have access to the Father—Jesus Christ. There is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). It is only through faith in Jesus Christ, His death, and resurrection that we are reconciled to God. If you have not yet placed your trust in Him as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so today. Confess your sins, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9-10).

Now, regarding your question about accepting help from someone who has practiced love spells—this is a matter that requires great caution and spiritual discernment. The Bible is clear that sorcery, witchcraft, and any form of occult practice are detestable to the Lord. Deuteronomy 18:10-12 warns, "There shall not be found with you anyone who makes his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, one who uses divination, one who practices sorcery, or an enchanter, or a sorcerer, or a charmer, or a consulter with a familiar spirit, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For whoever does these things is an abomination to Yahweh." Love spells, or any manipulation of another person’s will through ungodly means, are a violation of God’s design for free will and genuine love.

We must also consider the source of this person’s help. If their beliefs and practices are rooted in anything other than the truth of Scripture, we must be wary of being influenced or entangled by their ways. 2 Corinthians 6:14-15 says, "Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness? What agreement has Christ with Belial? Or what portion has a believer with an unbeliever?" While we are called to love all people, we are not called to partner with or accept spiritual influence from those who operate outside of God’s truth.

If this person is offering help that does not compromise your faith or lead you into sin, such as practical assistance (e.g., financial, physical, or emotional support), you may accept it with gratitude, but you must remain vigilant. However, if their help is tied to their occult practices or seeks to draw you into their beliefs, we strongly advise you to reject it. Proverbs 13:20 warns, "One who walks with wise men grows wise, but a companion of fools suffers harm."

We also urge you to examine your own heart and motives. Are you seeking help from this person because you feel desperate or hopeless? If so, we encourage you to turn to the Lord, who is your ever-present help in times of trouble (Psalm 46:1). He is the one who provides for His children, and He will never lead you into sin or compromise. Seek His wisdom through prayer and Scripture, and trust in His provision.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up this dear one to You, asking for Your wisdom, discernment, and protection. Lord, we know that You are a God who sees and knows all things, and we ask that You would reveal any areas of compromise or danger in this situation. Father, we rebuke any influence of darkness or occult practices in the name of Jesus. We declare that no weapon formed against Your child shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we break any ungodly ties or agreements that may have been made, knowingly or unknowingly.

Lord, we ask that You would give this one the strength to stand firm in their faith and to reject any help that does not align with Your Word. Father, we pray for a spirit of discernment to rest upon them, that they would know Your voice and follow Your leading alone. We ask that You would provide for every need according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19), and that You would surround them with godly counsel and support.

Father, if there are any areas of their life where they have been influenced by the enemy’s lies, we ask that You would bring truth and freedom. We pray that they would walk in the light of Your love and grace, and that they would trust in You alone for their provision and protection. Lord, we also pray for this person who has practiced love spells. We ask that You would open their eyes to the truth of the Gospel and draw them to repentance and faith in Jesus Christ. May they turn from their ways and seek You with all their heart.

We thank You, Father, for Your faithfulness and for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your perfect will and timing, and we ask that You would be glorified in all things. In the precious name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to seek the Lord diligently in this matter and to surround yourself with fellow believers who can offer godly wisdom and support. If you are feeling desperate or alone, remember that God is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Trust in Him, and He will guide your steps. If you have not already, consider finding a local church where you can grow in your faith and be discipled in the ways of the Lord. You are not alone, and God has a plan and purpose for your life. Stand firm in His truth, and He will lead you into all righteousness.

We're here with you, friend. We understand that it can be tough to navigate situations like this, especially when the help offered seems so appealing. But remember, our foundation is in Jesus Christ, and He calls us to be wise as serpents and harmless as doves (Matthew 10:16).

Let's think about this together. It's clear that the person offering help has beliefs and practices that differ greatly from ours. While we should always be open to loving and helping others, we must also be cautious not to compromise our faith or be drawn into practices that God considers detestable.

Let's pray for discernment. Let's ask God to give you wisdom to recognize what is truly helpful and what might lead you astray. Let's trust that God will provide for your needs, just as He always has. And let's remember that God is always near, ready to guide and comfort us.

Let's also pray for the person offering help. Let's ask God to open their eyes to the truth of the Gospel, to draw them to repentance and faith in Jesus Christ. Let's trust that God can use even difficult situations to bring about His will.

Let's stand together in this, friend. Let's seek God's face, trust in His provision, and walk in His truth. You're not alone, and God has a plan and purpose for your life. Let's hold onto that and move forward together.

Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We want to thank you for the privilege of standing with you in prayer over these past days. It has been our honor to lift up your concerns for ### and ### before the Lord, asking Him to move in power and wisdom. We also prayed about your question regarding whether believers in Christ should accept help from someone who has practiced love spells, especially when their beliefs differ from ours. We asked the Holy Spirit to give you clear discernment, peace, and guidance from Scripture as you navigate this situation.

If the Lord has answered your prayers—whether through provision, clarity, or breakthrough—we would love to hear your praise report so we can rejoice with you. If you’re still waiting on God’s timing or seeking His will, please know we are here to continue praying alongside you. You are not alone in this. We encourage you to post your request again if needed, so we can keep interceding with fresh faith and persistence.

Above all, we pray that you would sense God’s nearness as you seek Him through His Son, Jesus Christ. May He reveal His truth, protect your heart from deception, and lead you in paths of righteousness for His name’s sake. We trust that He is working even when we cannot see it, and we stand with you in faith until His promises are fulfilled.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.
