May it be genuine, built on trust, honesty, loyalty, joy, respect, and understanding. Guide us to grow together in love, patience, and clear communication. Remove any misunderstandings, conflict, or distance between us, and help us to remain united, supportive, and faithful to one another. Please lead us to build a shared life together in ###, as one couple filled with love, peace, health, stability, and happiness and as we wait I ask and pray that we will have much more time together for each other each day even when we are apart. I ask for provision over our lives—meet our housing needs, financial needs, and daily necessities. Provide stability, security, love, and safety for both of us. Bless our health—physically, mentally, and emotionally—so that we may live strong, balanced, and fulfilling lives. I pray for my hospital admission before Easter for my bowl and stomach to go well and have no complications and to have/find clear answers. And to find answers and solutions for my other appointment that I have about my jaw and head. I also lift up ###’s wellbeing and my own, asking that we continue to grow in faith, kindness, and understanding. Help us to support one another in the ways we need, and to always act with care, compassion, and respect. Lord, I pray for my beloved dogs, ### and ###. Bless them with long, healthy, and happy lives and all the cats too. May they share a loving bond with each other and with me, bringing comfort, joy, and companionship into our lives. Thank You for all blessings in my past, present, and future. Thank You for my faith and for the gift of salvation through Jesus Christ. Thank You for the Holy Spirit who guides and comforts us. Forgive me for the times I have relied on my own strength instead of trusting in You fully. Lord, take away my anxiety and replace it with peace and joy. Help me to trust You completely, to live in the present, and to appreciate each moment without fear or worry. May ### and I live long, healthy, joyful lives together, and when our time comes, may we find eternal peace with You in heaven. In Jesus’ name I pray Amen.

We come before the Lord with hearts full of compassion and concern as we lift up this prayer request together. First, we must acknowledge the name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. Acts 4:12 reminds us, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." We are grateful that this prayer was offered in Jesus' name, for without Him, our prayers would not reach the throne of grace.

We lift up the deep desire for a relationship built on trust, honesty, loyalty, joy, respect, and understanding. While these are noble qualities, we must examine the foundation of this relationship in light of Scripture. The Bible is clear that marriage is a sacred covenant between one man and one woman, designed by God to reflect His love and faithfulness. Genesis 2:24 states, "Therefore a man will leave his father and his mother, and will join with his wife, and they will be one flesh." The term "boyfriend" suggests a relationship that may not yet be aligned with God’s design for marriage. We encourage a focus on courtship with the goal of marriage, ensuring that both individuals are believers committed to honoring God in their relationship. If this relationship is not moving toward marriage, we must rebuke any emotional or physical intimacy that does not align with God’s Word. 1 Corinthians 6:18-20 warns, "Flee sexual immorality! ‘Every sin that a man does is outside the body,’ but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s."

The request for exclusivity in this relationship is understandable, but we must address it with biblical truth. While loyalty and faithfulness are essential, demanding that this individual have no friendships or interactions with others—even platonic ones—is not aligned with Scripture. Jesus Himself had close friendships with both men and women, and the Bible encourages believers to love one another broadly. 1 Peter 4:8-9 says, "And above all things be earnest in your love among yourselves, for love covers a multitude of sins. Be hospitable to one another without grumbling." We rebuke any spirit of control or possessiveness that seeks to isolate this relationship from godly community. Instead, we pray for wisdom and discernment to cultivate a relationship that honors God while allowing both individuals to grow in their faith and relationships with others.

We also lift up the health concerns mentioned in this prayer. The upcoming hospital admission and medical appointments are heavy burdens, and we stand in agreement for healing and clear answers. Jeremiah 30:17 says, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh." We pray that the Lord would guide the hands of the medical professionals, grant wisdom in diagnosis and treatment, and bring comfort and peace during this time of uncertainty. May the Lord strengthen both body and spirit, replacing anxiety with trust in His sovereign care.

The desire for provision, stability, and security is also close to our hearts. Philippians 4:19 assures us, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." We pray that the Lord would meet every financial, housing, and daily need according to His riches and glory. May He open doors of opportunity, provide wisdom in stewardship, and grant peace that surpasses all understanding.

We lift up the pets mentioned in this prayer, asking for God’s blessing on their lives. Proverbs 12:10 reminds us, "A righteous man respects the life of his animal." We pray for long, healthy, and joyful lives for these beloved creatures, and for the comfort and companionship they bring to this home.

The request for family healing and unity is close to our hearts. We pray for restoration in relationships, particularly with the mother mentioned here. Colossians 3:13-14 encourages us, "Bear with one another, and forgive each other, if any man has a complaint against any; even as Christ forgave you, so you also do. Above all these things, walk in love, which is the bond of perfection." We pray for reconciliation, understanding, and a spirit of forgiveness to prevail in these relationships.

The desire for a godly church community is commendable. Hebrews 10:24-25 says, "Let’s consider how to provoke one another to love and good works, not forsaking our own assembling together, as the custom of some is, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching." We pray that the Lord would guide both individuals to a church that preaches the truth of Scripture, fosters spiritual growth, and encourages godly relationships.

Finally, we lift up the world and its brokenness. The desire for peace, healing, and restoration is echoed in Scripture. Psalm 34:14 says, "Depart from evil, and do good. Seek peace, and pursue it." We pray for an end to conflict, suffering, and injustice, and for the love of Christ to transform hearts and nations.

Let us now come together in prayer:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up this dear one to You, asking for Your grace, mercy, and healing to surround them. Lord, we pray for clarity and wisdom in their medical appointments. Grant the doctors insight and skill, and bring healing to their body. We ask for Your peace to guard their heart and mind, replacing anxiety with trust in Your perfect plan.

Father, we bring this relationship before You. If it is Your will for them to be united in marriage, we pray that You would guide them in godly courtship, free from sexual immorality and worldly influences. Help them to seek You first in all things, and to build their relationship on the foundation of Your Word. If this relationship is not aligned with Your will, we pray for the courage to surrender it to You, trusting that Your plans are higher than ours.

We rebuke any spirit of control, possessiveness, or fear in this relationship. Lord, we ask that You would cultivate a spirit of love, trust, and mutual respect, allowing both individuals to grow in their faith and relationships with others. Help them to honor You in all their interactions, and to seek Your wisdom in every decision.

Father, we pray for provision and stability in their lives. Meet every need according to Your riches in glory, and grant them wisdom in managing the resources You provide. We ask for Your blessing on their home, their health, and their future together.

Lord, we lift up their family relationships, particularly with their mother. Bring healing, reconciliation, and unity where there has been brokenness. Help them to forgive as You have forgiven, and to walk in love and humility.

We pray for their pets, asking for Your blessing on their lives. Grant them health, joy, and long lives, and may they continue to bring comfort and companionship to this home.

Father, we ask that You would guide them to a church community that preaches Your Word and encourages spiritual growth. Draw them closer to You, and help them to grow in understanding and obedience to Your truth.

Finally, Lord, we pray for the world. Bring an end to conflict, suffering, and injustice. Let Your love and justice prevail, and may Your kingdom come on earth as it is in heaven. We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
