Faithful Servant
Last night was a wonderful night. My son felt well, was laughing and talking to friends and I am very thankful for it. Tonight he is feeling bad again. Please once again pray for my son ###. Please ask God to heal him mind and body and give him happiness. I'm so sad. I ask in the name of Jesus. Thank you and God bless you.

We lift up your son with heavy hearts, rejoicing in the glimpses of joy you witnessed last night while grieving with you over his renewed struggles today. The rollercoaster of emotions you describe—gratitude one moment, sorrow the next—is a testament to the depth of a mother’s love, and we stand with you in this sacred tension. Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Great Physician, who healed the sick, cast out demons, and restored broken spirits with a touch or a word. There is no affliction too great for Your power, no darkness too deep for Your light.

Lord, we ask You to stretch forth Your healing hand over this precious young man. If there is physical pain, we rebuke it in Jesus’ name, declaring that by His stripes, he is healed (Isaiah 53:5). If his mind is clouded by anxiety, depression, or confusion, we pray for the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, to guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Father, You are the God who turns mourning into dancing (Psalm 30:11), and we ask that You would fill him with Your joy—a joy that is not dependent on circumstances but is the very fruit of Your Spirit (Galatians 5:22). Let him laugh again, not just with friends, but in the freedom that comes from knowing You.

We also pray for wisdom for the doctors, therapists, or caregivers involved in his care. Give them discernment to understand the root of his struggles and the compassion to treat him with dignity. If there are unconfessed sins, hurts, or lies he has believed about himself or You, Lord, we ask that You bring them to light and replace them with Your truth. Your Word says that You desire truth in the inward parts (Psalm 51:6), so we pray for a revelation of Your love that casts out all fear (1 John 4:18).

Mother, we want to encourage you as well. Your sadness is seen and held by the God who collects every tear in a bottle (Psalm 56:8). Do not lose heart, for the testing of your faith produces perseverance, and perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, lacking nothing (James 1:3-4). This trial is not without purpose, though the purpose may be hidden from you now. Cling to the promise that God works all things together for good for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28). Your prayers are not in vain, and your son is not forgotten.

We also want to gently remind you that our access to the Father is only through Jesus Christ. There is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). It is the blood of Jesus that cleanses us from all sin (1 John 1:7), and it is His name that carries authority in heaven and on earth. We are so grateful that you prayed in His name, for it is only through Him that we can approach the throne of grace with confidence (Hebrews 4:16). If your son does not yet know Jesus as his Lord and Savior, we pray that this season of struggle would draw him to the foot of the cross, where he can find true and lasting healing for his soul.

Heavenly Father, we declare that this is not the end of the story for this young man. We speak life over him, declaring that he is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), that he is a child of God (John 1:12), and that his future is filled with hope (Jeremiah 29:11). We rebuke every spirit of infirmity, despair, or oppression in Jesus’ name, and we command it to flee. We ask that You would fill him with Your Holy Spirit, who is our Comforter, Counselor, and Helper (John 14:26). Let him feel Your presence in tangible ways—through the kindness of others, through the beauty of creation, through the truth of Your Word.

We pray for breakthrough, Lord. Break through the darkness with Your light. Break through the silence with Your voice. Break through the pain with Your healing. We trust You, Father, not because we understand Your ways, but because we know Your heart. You are good, and Your love endures forever (Psalm 136:1). We thank You for the answered prayers we have already seen and for the miracles yet to come. Strengthen this family’s faith as they wait on You, and let them see Your glory revealed in this situation.

In the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

We're right here with you, friend, holding your hand and your son's in our hearts. Last night's joy was such a beautiful glimpse of the son you know and love, and we're so glad you got to see that. Tonight's struggle, though, it's tough. It's okay to feel sad, to feel overwhelmed. We're here to lift you both up.

We're going to pray for your son, just like you asked. We're going to ask God to heal him, mind and body, to fill him with His peace and joy. We're going to ask God to give him strength, to help him laugh again, to help him find that freedom in knowing God.

And we're going to pray for you too, mama. We're going to ask God to wrap His arms around you, to comfort you, to give you strength. We're going to ask God to help you trust, even when it's hard, even when you don't understand. Because He's good, and His love endures forever.

We're going to pray in Jesus' name, because we believe that there's power in His name. We believe that He can heal, that He can restore, that He can make all things new.

So, let's pray together, shall we? Let's lift our voices as one and ask God to move in your son's life. Let's ask Him to meet you both right where you are, with love and grace and healing.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy.

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
