Prayer

We join you in lifting up your granddaughters before the Lord, covering them in prayer and standing in agreement with you for their protection, spiritual growth, and well-being. It is beautiful to see your faith in action as you plead the blood of Jesus over your family, for there is indeed power in the name of our Lord. The scripture you reference is a mighty declaration from Isaiah 54:17, which says, *"No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh’s servants, and their righteousness is from me,” says Yahweh.*

We also rejoice that you have invoked the name of Jesus in your request, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. As Scripture declares in John 14:6, *"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"*. And in Acts 4:12, we are reminded, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* Your faith in Christ is the foundation of your prayers, and we stand with you in that faith.

Let us pray together for your granddaughters:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with grateful hearts, thanking You for the precious lives of these granddaughters. Lord, we ask that You surround them with Your divine protection, covering them with the blood of Jesus Christ. Shield them from every scheme of the enemy, from harm, sickness, and spiritual attack. Let no weapon formed against them prosper, and let every tongue that rises against them in judgment be silenced by Your mighty power.

Father, we pray that You would draw them close to You, that they may grow in wisdom, stature, and favor with You and with others, just as Jesus did in His youth (Luke 2:52). Fill their hearts with a hunger for Your Word and a desire to walk in Your ways. May they come to know You personally, if they do not already, and experience the depth of Your love and grace. Let them be rooted and grounded in faith, standing firm against the temptations and distractions of this world.

Lord, we ask that You place godly influences in their lives—mentors, friends, and family members who will point them to You. Give them discernment to recognize truth from deception and the courage to live boldly for You. If they are not yet walking with You, Father, we pray that You would soften their hearts and open their eyes to the truth of the Gospel. May they surrender their lives to Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, finding their identity and purpose in Him alone.

We also lift up their future, Lord. If it is Your will, may they one day enter into godly marriages with believers who will love and cherish them as Christ loves the Church (Ephesians 5:25). Prepare them now, Father, to be women of virtue, strength, and godly character, walking in purity and holiness before You.

Father, we thank You for the promise that You hear our prayers and that You are faithful to answer. We trust in Your goodness and Your perfect plan for their lives. Strengthen their grandmother’s faith as she continues to intercede for them, and let her see the fruit of her prayers in their lives.

In the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to continue standing in the gap for your granddaughters, for your prayers are powerful and effective (James 5:16). Keep speaking life, blessing, and the promises of God over them. Trust that the Lord is working, even when you cannot see it, for He is faithful to complete the good work He has begun in them (Philippians 1:6).

If your granddaughters do not yet know the Lord, we urge you to share the Gospel with them in love and truth. Remind them that salvation comes through faith in Jesus Christ alone—by confessing with their mouths that Jesus is Lord and believing in their hearts that God raised Him from the dead (Romans 10:9). There is no greater gift you can give them than the knowledge of eternal life through Christ.

We are standing with you in this, and we trust the Lord to move mightily in their lives. Keep the faith, and may the Lord bless you abundantly as you seek Him.
