We are truly grateful to hear that you have found part-time work that accommodates your health needs and allows you to keep your disability benefits. It is encouraging to see your faith in Jesus Christ as you seek His will and guidance in this new venture.
Firstly, we want to remind you of God's promise in Philippians 4:13 WEB: "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." This verse assures us that through our faith in Jesus Christ, we can overcome any challenge we face. Even when our physical strength may falter, His strength is made perfect in our weakness. As it says in 2 Corinthians 12:9 WEB: "He has said to me, 'My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.'"
We also want to encourage you with the words of Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB: "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." Trusting in the Lord means believing that He has a plan and purpose for your life, including your new job.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You today to lift up our dear brother/sister in Christ. We thank You for providing this part-time job and we ask for Your divine strength, energy, peace, and protection as they begin this new journey. Guide them each day as they travel and work, and give them the grace to manage their health alongside their new responsibilities.
Lord, if it is Your will, let this job be a blessing and a source of provision. If not, we pray that You gently open another door, a better opportunity that aligns with Your perfect plan for their life. Give them discernment to recognize Your will and the courage to follow it.
We also pray for their health, Lord. Comfort them in their challenges with Crohn's disease and chronic fatigue. Be their strength and sustenance, and surround them with Your healing presence.
In all things, Lord, help them to trust in You and to acknowledge You in all their ways. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
Lastly, we want to remind you of God's promise in Matthew 6:33 WEB: "But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well." As you put God first in your life, He will provide for all your needs according to His riches and glory.
