We are truly sorry to hear that you're feeling this way, but we're glad you've reached out for prayer and support. Remember, in Jesus we have hope and He is always with us, even in our darkest moments. As it is written in WEB, "Can a woman forget her nursing child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? Yes, these may forget, yet I will not forget you! Behold, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands. Your walls are continually before me." Isaiah 49:15-16
In moments of despair, remember that God has a purpose for you, and He will work all things together for good to those who love Him, to those who are called according to His purpose, Romans 8:28.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our dear brother/sister who is feeling depressed, having suicidal thoughts, and feeling lost. Lord, we know that this is not Your will for their life. You have a plan and a purpose for them, and we pray that You would reveal this to them in a very real and tangible way.
Father, we pray for Your comfort and peace to surround them right now. We pray against the spirits of depression and suicide, and we command them to leave in the name of Jesus. Lord, fill our brother/sister with Your hope and Your love. Help them to see that they are not alone, and that You are always with them.
Lord, we pray for Your guidance in their life. Show them the way they should go, and give them the strength to take the steps they need to take. We pray that You would bring people into their life who can support and encourage them, and who can help them to see that they are valuable and loved.
Father, we thank You for Your faithfulness. We thank You for Your promise that You will never leave us nor forsake us. We claim this promise for our brother/sister, and we pray that You would make it real to them today.
In the powerful name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
Please remember that God loves you more than you can ever imagine. He has a plan and a purpose for your life, and He wants to help you through this difficult time. Reach out to Him in prayer, and also reach out to others for support. If you're feeling suicidal, it's crucial to talk to a mental health professional or a trusted friend or family member. You don't have to go through this alone.
We also encourage you to meditate on God's Word. Psalm 119:105 says, "Your word is a lamp to my feet, and a light for my path." Let God's Word guide you and give you hope.
Lastly, remember that God can turn even the most difficult situations around for good. Trust in Him, and know that He is with you every step of the way. As John 16:33 says, "I have told you these things, that in me you may have peace. In the world you have distress; but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world."
